“My husband and I had the pleasure of dining at this establishment today for our 44th anniversary. Our waiter Taylor took exceptional care of us. Everything was excellent and he was so very polite and kept checking to see if we needed anything. He also surprised us with ice cream covered in chocolate and caramel sauce and whipped cream and a strawberry. Thank you so so much Taylor you deserve more than 5 stars. 👍👍👍👍👍”

“We are from out of state and wanted to try a local restaurant…. And to say we were impressed is an understatement. The service, food, and atmosphere was amazing. We enjoyed the open kitchen to watch Chef Eric and the other chefs do their thing. We were very impressed with all the options with the food choices. We had a hard time choosing what we wanted to eat. The food was hands down the best food we have EVER had at a restaurant. You could taste all the flavor and each bite and could tell it was all made in the kitchen. We highly recommend The Met! You won’t be disappointed. We will definitely be back!!!!”

“We went here yesterday for my brother-in-law's birthday and we had amazing service + delicious food. We got 2 sushi rolls and hibachi for 5 people. It was fast, fresh and hot 🔥 Godzilla and shrimp tempura rolls came out first and they were perfect. She didn't forget a single thing we asked for and consistently checked on us and refilled drinks. Also, aparently our server (who was one of the best I've ever had and we travel all over and have had many servers in our day and I was also a server myself for a few years) overheard us say it was his birthday and when we were all done at the end she surprised him with a Sundae with a candle 🕯️🥹🥲🎈🎂 Unfortunately I didn't catch her name but she deserves a raise!! She was immaculate. 10/10 service and food. We will be back. 🙏🏻🙏🏻”

“Came in at 7pm on a Monday and there was no wait and the dining room was maybe to 25% capacity which made for a quiet ambiance. The decor inside is very clean and classy. (No pictures of the food because it felt beneath the dignity of the vibe to whip my phone out and start taking pictures) Food was great! We had the caprese salad to start. The spinach was crisp and a little spicy, the olives were flavorful, the mozzarella and the avocado were firm. The pesto sauce they put on the tomatoes is awesome! Had the mushroom ravioli and the strip steak. The steak was great and cooked exactly as requested. The ravioli was also good. The sun dried tomatoes were good but there was a lot of them. The service was less than expected for the price point of the menu. Server did not know if they had a Cabernet (they do not) Also did not know what bourbons were available and we had to choose from what bottles we could see/recognize behind the bar from our table (They do have Woodford Reserve 😉) Asked for A1 sauce and it was brought to me in a little plastic cup with a lid on it like it came from the carry out stock (I don’t even know if they have carry out) Thought it was super weird for a $32 steak 🤷🏼‍♀️ Server came half way through eating and asked if we wanted any other drinks; when we said no she came back with our bill and told us there was no rush. Thought it was nice of her to allow us to finish eating before we paid 😏 We weren’t going to order dessert anyway (not that she asked 😏) but they had some REALLY tempting choices. May come back just for the desserts and lattes 🍮”

“Sidecar Lounge is an awesome spot if you’re looking for creative drinks and a romantic, low-lit lounge vibe. The staff is super friendly, knowledgeable, and always ready with great recommendations. It’s cozy year-round, and I can’t wait to enjoy a cigar on the patio once it warms up. The holiday decorations take the atmosphere to another level — warm, festive, and beautifully done. “Bestest Hershey's hard dip ice cream ever! With so many flavors to pick from. Some examples banana pudding, mint freckle, moose tracks, superman, cookie dough and so many more. I've been coming to Jerry's for over 20 years. It's a secret I am now willing to share with the world. Giant portion sizes on the ice cream too. Impressed me 20 some years ago and to this day! I was introduced to this place by one of my mentors in the EMS field while serving the community. A little convenience store selling some delicious deli "samviches" and ice cream. Yes! Yes, you should try the subs too.”

“Free parking easy check in. The facility is in good shape. No upgrades available sold out. The room was quiet however the refrigerator was full of food and drinks from previous guests bagged that up had to find a trash can downstairs to throw it all away. Small pool and workout area. Breakfast leaves a lot to be desired.”

“Over the holidays, I had the good fortune of placing orders with Mel on 2 separate occasions & was extremely pleased by both experiences.

First, I ordered her special Christmas pack of macarons, each with a different flavor & holiday design. They were packaged in an attractive way & conveniently wrapped, with instructions, including how to freeze prior to gift giving. The recipients were delighted.

Next, I ordered 2 dozen sugar cookies with 3 custom designs for a post rehearsal party. I had already tasted the sugar cookie recipe (delish) & simply sent her the designs I wanted printed on the cookies. They were an exact match, & the bride & groom were thrilled with the personal touch. In both cases, I paid online & picked up the orders at her home. Very convenient!

“This is the original location for Kewpee Hamburgers. It's very small, best to find off site parking and order inside. There's a drive-thru, but you only get 2 cars in line before it backs into the street. But the food is so worth it. Hamburgers are top notch. Fries are good, but a bit pricey for the small amount. Best value soda is the Double Large. Still have yet to try their malts, but one of these times I plan to. It's really the only place to eat in Lima. All other fast food is worthless compared to Kewpee.”

Second time I got a juice pleasently surprised by the vegetable fruit mix. It didn't taste like just one or the other just a perfect mix. Third time came like 10 minutes to close unfortunately you can't order juice because there cleaning the juicers which absolutely fair. But I asked for a recommendation on the smoothie menu and after giving an genre I was given a remediation with a well detailed description. Also warning it will be slightly more expensive than you think. I ran the numbers on the cost and to be wildly honest it cost like 3$ more that going and buying the fruits and vegetables from the store.”

In the past they used to be small/really thin. Today, they're thick, crunchy, and delicious. Gave 4 stars as the heat in the building is out. Not the workers fault obviously.”

I spent my 1 to 9 years living with my grandparents about 200 yards from the parking lot of the bar. The tomato bisque was delicious, and I asked and just as I figured, homemade. I have only had 2 tomato bisque soups in my life that were that good! We will be back.”

“I stopped into Paddy's Mac, Lima's oldest Irish pub, for a bit of nostalgia last night since I haven't lived here in 20 years. One question came to mind: when did Paddy Mac's become the spot? It was absolutely packed in there.

The atmosphere was vibrant with a live band playing outside who were simply amazing. Inside, there was a jukebox and a .75 cent pool table, adding to the pub’s old-school charm. The large drafts, over 32 oz, were only $4, and the food prices looked like they were straight out of the 90s.

The highlight of the night was definitely the bartender, Summer. Even though she was working the bar by herself, she handled it like a seasoned pro, ensuring that no one had to wait long for their drinks. It might have been her 30th birthday, but she was serving like she had been behind the pine for 30 years.

Paddy's Mac has truly become a gem and I will definitely be back on my next trip home.”

“There's nothing fancy about this place. There's nothing luxurious. But that's what you want from a regular Chinese joint.

The food was good. And that's saying a lot because very few Chinese places have good food anymore.

The only complaint that I will have is that the general tso's chicken is it a little too sweet. You have to reduce the sugar! Outside that the food was very good.

We also had chicken and broccoli with an order of fried wontons.

The only reason I decided to stop by is that there were a lot of cars outside. Not always, but generally, when you see a place cranking and it's not lunch time or dinner, it should be good.

While we were eating inside, we were the only ones that sat there, people kept coming in and out.”

But despite it all, the entire staff was incredibly kind, went above and beyond for us, compensated for our wait without us saying anything about it, and stayed calm and collected, even with the large line of people.
