Maineville's best places for Mexican cuisine are in our list.
“Great Mexican food joint! Staff is fantastic and food is great! Sports games always on, margaritas the size of a lake and the vibe is always positive. Atmosphere is cool and they never rush you. They have plenty of tables and even a party room. Beers are big and ice cold and fresh. Kid's menu for your picky eaters!“
“Huge burrito, great service, great price (had a 50% of coupon) The service was great. The older gentleman was kind, intentive, and filled with charisma. The burrito was great and large. Tasted the same as other Hot Heads which is as expected since it is a chain after all. I will say the straight habanero sauce didnt taste as hot as before but that's probably because of my tolerance. As I mentioned I had a 50% discount from the app which made my entire order $5.39 for a double chicken burrito. I plan to come back and try the quasildia“
“Legit street tacos! Moved here from LA and have been looking for decent tacos that aren’t expensive. This place should not be struggling for customers. The meat seasoning is mild but flavorful. We’re gonna call it sazon Ohio lite, but you can kick it up at the salsa bar with excellent pickled habanero onions and jalapeño cilantro salsa. If you have a friend who doesn’t like flavor they can get some white bread and ham from subway next door. If they weren’t in a strip mall with nothing else nearby they’d be killing it. DoorDash and thank me later.“
“I'm not one to take pictures of my food, but I am the one who always orders seafood when I go to a new or different restaurant. Every single time I was so disappointed UNTIL La Jaiba! Had the shrimp burrito for lunch and their fish tacos as take out for dinner. For the first time at a new place, they were amazing! I highly recommend La Jaiba on Montgomery Road. Perfection! And give them your business during Lent, they don't disappoint.“
“The food here is great – I've liked everything so far. But the lunch portions are pretty small. Typical American lunch sizes are bigger, so if you're really hungry or a larger person, you might need 2-3 of these lunch servings. The menu photos are spot on – think kid-sized quesadillas and single small tortillas. Personally, I'd be happy to pay a bit more for larger portions. If you're really hungry, consider the dinner menu even at lunch. Still, I'll keep coming back for the taste!Parking: Location only has roughly 10-15 spots shared among a number of businesses.“
“This food truck is hands down one of the best in the city. The food is real, fresh, and downright delicious – each bite feels like a flavor explosion. But what makes it truly special is the awesome crew running the show. They’re friendly, service is on point, and their smiles make the whole experience even better. I can’t recommend this place enough – it’s a must-try for anyone craving genuine, tasty eats!“
“The staff was wonderful, very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and the portions great! They helped me with gluten free options with a smile. We will be back!??Dietary restrictions: Several gluten free options!Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp to entrance“
“Have had decent experiences here. The salsa is good. The queso& enchiladas are good. Unfortunately the tacos were super bland. We’ve been multiple times and each time our server has been slow, doesn’t get us refills, doesn’t understand basic questions that affect our order. I want to love it but can’t.“
“Went for an early Monday lunch today after hearing about it. Was very pleased! The staff brought tiny samples of the horchata, tepache and aqua fresca and I ended up buying a tepache. Fantastic drink! They also explained how they like to eat the cucumber slices and its probably my new favorite way to eat cucumber!I had a chicken and steak taco (going to try birria and chorizo next) and they were both so flavorful but not greasy at all. Everything felt light and fresh. I didn't leave feeling stuffed and heavy like Mexican food can sometimes feel. The blue corn tortillas were probably my favorite thing as something that really stands out from other mexican restaurants around. They are made in house and are soft and pliable and didn't fall apart. They are what they use to make their chips as well, which are also awesome. I can't wait to come back and try more yummy items!Parking: Plenty of parking behind the building.“
“Another great Mexican restaurant with wonderful lunch specials and friendly staff Plenty of great food options to choose from as well as a full service bar if interested too. Very tasty black beans when adding extra salt pepper and salsa to it“
“Hubs and I went here for a mid-week meal. It took a bit of convincing because he isn't a fan of most Mexican restaurants. However, his attitude changed when he saw the menu and got his meal. It was tasty and "fresh," not "stodgy." The service was great and the place is tidy and clean. This is my new fave place to go when I have a hankering for Mexican.“
“Went around 730 on a Tuesday to eat dinner which I was a little worried when they weren't busy at all or had many customers. But to my surprise it was actually pretty good. I've had some nasty Mexican restaurants before if I lived in this area I would definitely come often but were out of towners.. it was a little slow service but not bad it was nice and I didn't feel rushed. If their food says spicy it is spicy my husband was sweating with how spicy his fajita a la Diablo was but it was good spicy not that spicy that isn't or gross“
“Birria (Barbacoa) Tacos and Consommé is absolutely THE BEST in the area. Their consommé is a delicious roux to dip the tacos into for more flavor. The meat reminds me of my mom’s homemade roast. The onions and cilantro just add to the melody of flavors. The Chicken Fajitas were sizzling hot when they came out to the table. Not only did they smell delicious but they tasted fresh and scrumptious.Their Bean and cheese dip is tasty also. Service was very friendly and efficient.“
“We are quite lucky to get organic meals in bowls, with no preservatives, no gluten or wheat, little soy, and if no lactose.Vegetarian options: Lettuce; spinach; mix of corn and cut onions; cut pineapple pieces;Dietary restrictions: Just over one-fourth of their food is organic.Kid-friendliness: Generally kind to people of all ages, as well as male and female.Wheelchair accessibility: There are a couple of ramps to get into the suites at this building.“
“Fantastic food and fun. Don't let the big crowd scare you away it's a big place two levels. Got the last parking spot thought we would have to wait with 6 people in our party. Nope got seated right away. Big menu. The drinks are very creative and fun.“
“Tacos are fantastic ?, and the frozen margaritas are super tasty ?. There are plenty of similar Mexican menus in the area, but Tres Amigos tops them all! We were seated immediately with a warm welcome as soon as we entered the restaurant ??. The staff was quick to take our drink orders, and they served chips and salsa right away, which was awesome—everyone got their own salsa bowl for double-dipping! ?? The waitress was on point with her timing, making our visit seamless. Our food arrived in just about 15 minutes—super quick! ? The atmosphere really added to our experience, making it even more enjoyable. ?? Highly recommend for a delightful meal!“
“We're not big fans of Mexican but really like "this" Acapulco. They are always busy, considering there are several other Mexican places near by, that are not busy. Typical menu, large portions served promptly. Better mixed drinks than most other places. Only 4 stars because the restaurant needs an overall refresh.“
“We came here for dinner while visiting from out of town and were amazed by the quality and selection of food. The portions were large, the food was flavorful, and there were many toppings, sauces, and sides to try along with our entrees. I had the quesobirria and enjoyed every bite- the frijoles charros were absolutely delicious along with it.The service was also very friendly and quick. My family and I all enjoyed our dining experience.“
“I love this place! The service is always excellent.I usually get the fajitas which are so yummy . This time we tried the Mexico City tacos and the Enchilada and burrito plate on the lunch meal. The tacos were ok; the meat was very good but I think I’ll stick to the fajitas. I recommend steak over chicken. Guac is good too.Parking: Plenty of parking in this complex“
“Easy to find location and plenty of parking. This location wasn't very busy, so we were seated right away. For not being busy, service was on the slow side, not bad or rude or anything, just slow. For came out hot and correct. The food was good. Refills we're slow as well. Maybe a new waiter, or he was tired. I would eat here again.“
“I'm live in Michigan and stopped here with some friends. By far, the best drink menu and presentations. They are very entertaining, and you won't be disappointed. Great food and atmosphere.Kid-friendliness: Kids love the guy in the light up gear on stilts.Wheelchair accessibility: We had a person who was in a wheel chair.“
“American Mexican restaurant with good service and above average food. A few vegetarian options and a nice patio in warm weather. This used to be a steakhouse and the restrooms still say Cowboys and Cowgirls which is funny.Vegetarian options: There are four vegetarian combo options all about $14 each“
“Had lunch here today with a coworker. I had the lunch special chicken quesadilla with everything except onions and peppers. It came out perfect. Not sure what John had - he was trying to keep it keto. I hope to return soon.Parking: No issues with parking.“
“Originally went to the location in Mt repose and the line was super long and there looked to be only 2 employees working at the time. We waited for about 10 minutes and the line hadn't even moved, so we decided to see if this location was any better. There was a line, but it went fast. We waited maybe 5 minutes. There were 6 employees that I could see.I feel sorry for the employees at the other location.I recommend taco Tuesdays!“
“Taco House is a little trailer by a car wash off of Fields Ertel Road. I've driven past it 100 times and didn't even realize it was there. I wish I photographed the boxes before I bashed but I couldn't help myself. I ordered 1 Al Pastor and 2 Chorizo tacos, my wife ordered chicken tacos. Food was fresh, hot and absolutely out of this world delicious. Each box came with a mound of cilantro and onion both finely chopped, a Verde and hot salsa per box, and lime, of course. Had to order some chips with guacamole and quest dip as well and the guacamole was something to marvel, question was delicious but it's hard to mess that up. I found my new favorite tacos.“
“Order at counter. Drinks in a cooler next to counter. Assorted soda, water, tea and beer. Food was brought to our table. Started with chips, queso, elote. We enjoyed these starters. Main dish, I ordered the chicken quesadilla with crema. This was a very tasty quesadilla and I would order again. They have a trash and recycle can next to door for you to dispose of your paper dishes and drink bottles. A very small staff, but they did a great job making sure we had what we needed.“
“Excellent food and good service even during lunch rush. Our go-to for Mexican at the office because we know we can get in and out reasonably.Update: Went today to celebrate a colleague retiring and the staff was very cool about us chilling and talking for a long time and periodically checked on us. It was lovely!“
“We have not been by since the name had changed, but decided to give Ramon's a try. Great decision! Food was excellent and Maria and Ceasar were great! Chicken burrito/enchilada combo rocked! They have an excellent vegetarian selection, too!“
“Stopped in for a late weekday lunch. Huevos Rancheros were delicious and fresh. Only thing that would make it better is more and original vegetarian options.Vegetarian options: Pretty much the same old options as other Mexican style restaurants. In this day an age you would think there would be better options.“
“I haven’t stopped thinking about and craving these tacos since visiting Tortilleria Garcia last Tuesday for their taco Tuesday deals. When tacos are that cheap I just had to keep going back to order more. The flavors are great, especially the steak, and the salsas are delicious. Service was great and super friendly too! Will definitely be back for more.Vegetarian options: The vegetarian taco has rice and beans along with fresh toppings + cheese and is delicious!“
“I stopped here for a quick to go order. I purchased the Carne Asada burrito. It was worth $10.50 as it was stacked with steak and lots of guacamole. The meat could have used more seasoning, in my opinion. The red sauce was awesome and helped with flavor. The green sauce was very good as well.“
“I was catering a meal for my work team and I had made a reservation, I made the mistake of choosing a different date than when I needed it. So when I went to pick up the food, it wasn't ready and the nice manager told me if was scheduled for the next day. They team pulled together and made the entire meal for us in 10 min and sent us on our way. I am very grateful to all of them that made this happen for us. Great team members.“
“We've decided to work on a little tour of Cincinnati style chili, and picked Gold Star for our next version. We ordered ahead online, but service was slow and it wasn't ready when quoted. The food itself was very good - we got two cheese coneys, two 4-Ways with onions, a 3-Way, and fries, so that we could get a good sample size. It was well packaged for carryout.“
“The staff were friendly and inviting. Chips were on the table before we were seated. Beautiful pictures adored the walls. Food was served quickly and hot. Staff was dressed professionally. They helped my elderly mother to her table. Restrooms were clean. And, yes, they accept coupons!“
“I come here at least twice a month for #tacotuesday. Great and friendly staff and very delicious tacos. I typically get steak and chorizo. All the toppings (which you choose) are all fresh and the homemade salsas/ hot sauces are the iceing on the cake. Will always come back! ??“

We eat there quite often and service and food are always excellent.Vegetarian options: Lots of bean and vegetable offerings in a separate section. Huevos Rancheros are very good as well.Wheelchair accessibility: Seating can be adjusted for wheelchair access. Was able to use the outdoor patio with wheelchair as well in nice weather.“
