“I was in the area so I stopped in really quickly. This is probably the CLEANEST Giant Eagle I've ever encountered; granted, I did visit early in the morning (7:45am). I had to write a review because the store was just so organized. Nothing was scattered around and everything seemed to be in its place. Service was good. I asked a store employee where the muffins were located and she directed me. I ended up not buying muffins though because I couldn't find any fresh ones. I bought 2 bananas, buttery crackers, and gum. I don't do grocery shop at Giant Eagle anymore because it is actually an expensive store but it isn't too expensive like Whole Foods. I prefer Aldi's or Lucky's Market (although Lucky's can get expensive....haha). When I do come to Giant Eagle, I like to buy snacks because those prices aren't as expensive compared to snacks at a local CVS store. Morning grocery shoppers aren't popular but a store may still get busy. This location only had one woman working at the counter when I arrived so I used the self checkout lane. A very small line was starting to form at the actual checkout lane so this location may need to hire an additional staff member. I walked down the bakery section and I also noticed just one person behind the counter. Of course, by lunch time, I'm sure more staff members will arrive to work. Overall, I had a good experience here so if you need a few items, I recommend coming here. Sparkling clean, super friendly, with really interesting options in addition to bakery classics. The pepperoni rolls, whose name does not do it justice, are easily one of the best savory pastries I've ever had. We got the forest and pesto breakfast sandwiches and they were incredible—way bigger than we expected and absolutely delicious! Matcha latte and dirty chai were great too. “Best shaved ice I've ever had in my life. The buns are all soft and fluffy and comforting. I had the egg and turkey buns, the green onion bun and the mango tart, while taking a few bites of my friend's taiwanese shaved ice. I've been back a good probably 8 or so times since I began writing this review a couple months ago, and I can't stay away. Every time I go I grab a handful of warm, chewy buns and the taiwanese shaved ice with mango, strawberry, and mango jelly. The service is always quick, even when there is the occasional line to the door, and the buns are self service so you can just grab as many as you'd like and check out! I can not possibly recommend the shaved ice enough, in my opinion it easily beats out ice cream as the most refreshing summer snack.“

“I've actually never physically been here, but I did have a phase where I would get cookies delivered weekly. I've stopped the weekly part, but will have occasional cravings. The cookies can be hit or miss, but that's not really the fault of this location since the flavors are designated on a national level. For example, I'm not a fan of the pink sugar one (never really like almond flavor) but it seems to be a hit with most.However, i have had some that I really enjoyed and I love how the flavors switch up each week, letting you try different things.
