“1st the service is top tier. Amir does a wonderful job and helped make some recommendations that made my bubble waffle taste great. I’ve never experienced a bubble waffle and it’s the prefect combination of soft with a bit of crunch. The apple bourbon gelato that he recommended was the prefect added touch. The price is prefect. I enjoyed the atmosphere. Even the people passing by were nice and welcoming. Made for a perfect quiet Sunday treat for a mom needing some me time. I would absolutely visit again and bring my kids or for some more alone time :)“

“The coffee and service were great, but unfortunately the baked goods were not. My son and I each got a lemon poppyseed scone, and they had a strange taste. They didn't really taste like lemon at all, and I couldn't eat it. We took our order to go or I would have said something. I would go back for the coffee and atmosphere.“

“We had brunch at Lucky's Cafe on Sunday April 14, 2024. I have so many things to say about this place, so let's just start at the beginning. We found street parking right out front. There is not a designated parking lot. For a party of two, we were quoted a 40 minute wait. After only about 15 minutes, we got a call that our table was ready. We were seated at a table right next to the kitchen door which was a bit chaotic, but worked fine for our party. Our waitress was very attentive and quickly got our drink orders. I ordered a Thai iced tea and Kevin got an iced Lucky's latte. Both very good but nothing special. For our meals we ordered the biscuits and the shipwreck. Seasonal vegetables in the shipwreck included bell peppers, onions, and mushrooms. Very generous portions and delicious. The fresh fruit side with the shipwreck consisted of half a strawberry, slice of pineapple, and wedge of orange. Seems like not much, but was the perfect amount of a refreshing sweet bite after the large plate of everything else. On the table was a house made sweet and smoky hot sauce that I used on every bite of the shipwreck. So delicious. Saved my last piece of toast to eat with their house made blackberry/raspberry/grape jam. Incredible. Included large pieces of fruit, which I love in a fresh jam. And I haven't even mentioned the pecan bacon*. After my first bite, I was thanking our waitress for bringing it up and telling us about it. Definitely would normally overlook getting something like that as a side dish. There are also several vegetarian options on the menu, with one dish able to be made vegan by getting the toast with no butter. We interacted with several staff members at different phases of our meal. Everyone from the hostess, to the barista, our waitress, and the other servers helping to run food/clear plates was abundantly friendly and helpful. One waiter passing by noticed us looking at the art above our table, which was an original painting from a local artist, and told us some interesting facts about the piece. Felt like a true collaborative team working to make the best experience for all guests.Overall, service was incredible and food was delicious. The only reason I am knocking one star off "atmosphere" is due to the fact that this place is not accessible for people in wheelchairs/other disabilities. You have to walk up a step just to get in the front door, and the entryway is so cramped with a pasty/coffee counter plus the host stand. The aisles are very narrow and people are constantly getting in each other's way. There is also only one single-use bathroom. Everything was just fine for us, but definitely something to be aware of if you are planning a trip here!*Pecan bacon comes with 3 pieces, but I got too excited as soon as the plate came out!Want to try: cinnamon roll, blueberry smoothieVegetarian options: A few options including waffles and macaroni & cheese. One dish able to be made veganWheelchair accessibility: None. Steps to get in the building and narrow walkways with more steps inside.“

“We have a fabulous contractor on our property who has brought us treats from your amazing bakery…chocolate croissants and today, delicious cupcakes...almost too beautiful to bite into! We are new to the area but a visit in person is a must. A big thanks to John for his generosity and the best bake goods we have ever had. Baking from scratch with fresh ingredients and your skill produces the ultimate treat!“

“Just what you'd expect in a small, boutique coffee shop, and then some. My flat white with an extra shot was perfectly roasted pressed and brewed, nothing fancy, nothing skimpy, just spot on balance and rich flavor. And the chai was the real deal, as well - none of that packet s***. Very impressed.“

“I went to Gourmand’s with my father today for lunch. I can’t say enough good things about the staff and the food! I ordered the steak tuna on a spinach wrap with an antioxidant smoothie. I just can’t get over how everything was and if I could give more than five stars, I definitely would! I will definitely be back for more!“

“I went to Cleveland for my birthday and I love to just walk around new cities and try new coffee shops. We came across this shop and tried it out. I was expecting to get a coffee but a gentleman there stated that I should try to chai tea. Boy, was he ever correct. It had to be the most amazing chai tea I've ever had. It had a very smooth taste, with a nice hint of fresh ground cinnamon on top. Not overly sweet like a desert, but just right. The barista that works there was also very friendly and we chatted a bunch about a lot of cool topics. I definitely recommend it!“

“Love this cute place. Just make reservations if you want to hang with the cats. The cafe offers a variety of coffee and teas. I got the breakfast blend tea and it was a good strong tea and the water was perfect temp not too hot but hot enough. They have a variety of baked goods. I got a carrot cake pop tart and it was delicious. I didn't expect it to be that good. The baristas are very helpful in directing you in their variety of cafe drinks. Highly recommend.“

“With creative cold brew mixtures, vegan pastries, and amazing cappuccinos this place is definitely worth the trip. Hidden in Waterloo Arts District, this place has an industrial aesthetic and comfortable feel that is great for working. Their seasonal smoked vanilla cold brews, chocolate orange cappuccinos or amaretto pear cappuccinos are worth the trip in themselves.“
“Stop by Lekko, order an Ube Latte, and enjoy this bright space with lots of greenery and beautiful decor. This is one of my favorite coffee shops in Cleveland whether it is cold or sunny out. The decor and how relaxing it is so worth it. Some of the art on the wall is for sale and by local artists, so it is always changing. Done with your coffee adventures? Get up and take a little walk by the Hangars just a couple of blocks away or grab a bite at Amba. I now worry I won't find a spot to sit the next time I visit...“

“I like this place. Decent food and nice wait staff. I got a chef salad for lunch on a Tuesday early afternoon and my Mom got the veggie Italian sandwich. My salad was pretty large and filled with all types of good fresh ingredients. My Moms sandwich was also filled with fresh ingredients but seemed skimpier. But she liked it. Her side was potato salad. The side comes in a small side cup. I would like a scoop of the side on the plate but I get they are trying to g to control portions and cost. Seemed skimpy though. It's a nice size cafe. Tables are kept clean. But the plants around need some help. Most looked pretty dead or dying. They seem to do a good take out biz and lots of coffee and other drink options along with baked goods. All in all I will go back and try something else.“

“Awesome cafe nestled in downtown. After a morning jog, needed a quick cup of coffee and snack to start my day off right. Americano and everything bagel was just what I needed. The coffee was flavorful and smooth, perfectly extracted. Bagel was also perfect, toasty and lightly salted. Ambiance inside was dimly lit and cozy. I'll definitely be back for another cup.“
“Nothing was open as it was very early when I arrived. However, the restroom was open and clean. Very spacious inside. Property was well lit, inside and out. Two different entrances that I noticed and used. Cleaning staff were there late night/early morning.“

“My partner and I come here frequently to get coffee but can never get a table due to the various brunch events on the weekend. We love their coffee so we got tickets to one of these events and we’re really disappointed. For $35pp we got a small flight of mimosas (probably 1 regular size put together), 1 chocolate square, 1 oreo sized cookie, 1 crostini, and A QUARTER of a pastry. Not worth the money at all. The staff tried their best to accommodate for a diabetic child that we had with us but there are no substitutions on the brunch menu so we purchased additional food so they could eat with us. Good coffee and friendly staff but I would not get a ticket to a brunch event again. The Taylor Swift brunch is not really child friendly. Come for the coffee, not the event“

“The avocado toast?!? The latte!?!? The general vibes!?!? All immaculate!! Do yourself a favor and make sure you stop by this cute little coffee shop. May make a trip back to Cleveland just for you, Heartwood. ♥️“

“Great independent coffee shop - we stopped here because the bagel place down the street doesn't make espresso-based beverages on Sundays. Everyone was super friendly and efficient. Lots of comfy chairs and a sofa for folks who want to kick back, relax, and just take it all in. Coffees were tasty and well worth it! See you next time!“

“Friendly, peaceful and the drinks are great. I stayed here and studied for about 4 hours and I can now say this is my favorite coffee shop. :) the staff was nice and the environment is clean. Although the place got busy at times it was never loud! I got the hot chocolate and banana blueberry muffin. I have to say the muffin was a bit hard but I still managed to eat most of it. Other than that I’m satisfied with the place“

“Just a great place to enjoy coffee and either study, read, or have some quality time with friends. I spent many hours here when I was in college mainly studying or discussing subjects A-Z. The place has an intellectual open minded thinker vibe and I love it. Coffee and desserts are good as well. Its open and airy in summer and cozy in winter. Great energy as well.“

“I go to this location instead of the one 5 minutes from my house because 1. Their coffee is ALWAYS good (and consistent), 2. The staff is ALWAYS courteous and friendly, and 3. They ALWAYS get me in and out! I always get a hot, medium coffee with cream and sugar and one extra cream. That's how I request it and it's always good! I love this place!Parking: You won't be in there long enough to worry about parking!“

“So glad we took the plunge to come here when we were doing our own walking tour. The description is funky with bols of vegan, vegetarian, paleo and GF organic meals. I call the meals nutritional rice bowls with veggies and protein. Add special sauces and bone broth. Delicious! The venue is located on Public Square outside Tower City. The inside seating is high-top tables, a counter and a few low tables. You choose your ingredients, or choose from the menu a bol already mixed. Names of items include broths as Nature's Medicine, Porky Picante, Wakin' Bacon, Chime Chicken, Rebel Steak, Po-Kay Tuna, Power Plant. Grab and go, or eat on the patio. This is a neat venue that needs to be checked out. On a Monday at lunchtime Rebol was busy. Yelpers, when checking in, get a free pour-over coffee. Warm and yummy.“

“I just started working in the area and didn't want to get the standard coffee place in the area. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted with genuine smiles. “Great coffee, tasty food & lovely atmosphere!!! But, make sure to check your order, before you leave. Usually customer service is good. But unfortunately, not today. My husband and I have frequented Biggby often over the last 2 months. This morning husband ordered a medium decaf Teddy Bear for me. Just the way I like it, the whipped cream dressings and all. Yum! He ordered it in a large cup so it would maintain. Once opening it, the dressings & whip were totally missing. Ok, mistakes happen. He takes it right back, and he had to pay for the coffee, again! The guy made him pay for 2 cups of coffee, on their mistake. Really!?!? Not, a big deal, but very disappointing. We'll be back! But, be SURE to check your coffee order before you leave, or you may have to "pay" for their mistake.Parking: There are about 8 spots right in front. Busy area, so you can usually find a spot.“

“We've been ordering Caruso Coffee wholesale for a few years now. The sales staff is always very helpful to give suggestions on coffee that matches our needs or familiar flavor profiles. Our favorite is Café Italiano for Espresso and Hylander Grogg for our drip machine or pour-overs. We've also tried smaller batches of Ethiopian Yirgaheffe and Jamaican Blue Mountain. All varieties we've had are fantastic.“

“I was bragging to my mother about how THIS location always gets my order correct. SPOKE TOO SOON. We get our drinks with "NO ICE" because we don't like our pop/soda watered down by the time we get to our destination. Not only did our drinks have lots of ice, but we ordered a six (6) pc chicken nuggets kids meal for my mom because she's a light eater, but received a four (4) PC. Also, we had three (3) drinks and had to request a drink holder. When my mother explained to the young lady in the drive thru that our drinks were "no ice", she just stood there blinking, said nothing and then backed up to get our food (which as I said previously was only partially correct). I was so disappointed.....all my bragging for naught.“
