“This was an amazing quaint diner. I loved the family atmosphere and the customer friendly staff. I felt at home as soon as we walked in. We came in with 2 small children and 3 adults. We were on our way to another restaurant, and my husband said he had heard of a good breakfast place. We quickly detoured, and I was glad we did. The food was delicious and quick, and each detail was home-cooked to perfection. We will be back.“
“This is the best place to go for breakfast in Toledo if you love a large, delicious portion, great bacon, and the best pancakes ever!Kind, friendly, quick service from seating to eating to paying, the entire experience makes you wanna come back for more as you're walking out the door.Sometimes, I daydream at work about leaving early and going there to have breakfast ? ?Try'em...please...for me❣️Parking: It's always busy, but there is somehow always a parking spot.Kid-friendliness: Kids will love it and will eat so much that they'll fall asleep in the car going home.Wheelchair accessibility: There are no stairs that I can recall.“
“I drove 50 minutes each way well worth hot and delicious my server was amazing cerria it was her last day borh servers did a great job the place was empty when I walked in with in 20 minutes it was packed with only one cook and 2 servers they were awesome but I think people need to extend grace and patience when dinning out and start tipping when you dine out 20 percent or more just act like its your son or daughter when you tip great job guys appreciate all of you blessings see you soonRoberta Wilson“
“Standard, unremarkable Toledo breakfast fare: seemingly lots of options, but, as elsewhere, if you take a closer look, it's just 50 variants on basically the same thing: eggs, sausage, and bacon. No vegan options, no tofu dishes, no organic options. I know this is Toledo, but it's also 2024. That said, the place was very clean, and the service (Heather) was very good. So was the veggie skillet. I'd go back, and am glad to see that Sunrise Skillet and Jo Jo's are resuscitating what for 35+ years were rat-trap storefronts.“
“ProsFood is delicious.Food is different than your standard diner without going too far beyond my comfort zone ( I usually order the same thing over and over at other places).Food is better quality / healthier (natural, cage free, non-gmo, etc)Service is pretty good. I've had a couple minor hiccups, but nothing to keep me from returning. The staff is clean cut and friendly.Atmosphere is very clean and modern. I even saw a staff member on a step stool cleaning the walls in the kitchen. Keep it up!ConsA bit pricey, but totally worth it. It was $29/person for my last visit. This includes fancy drinks (mint mocha), an appetizer (ginger doughnut holes), entrée, and tip.“
“My first time at a Waffle House! It was pretty busy around 10am on a Saturday. Our waitress was nice but the food took a very long time to come out. There were many people working too. The food was actually really good! And the prices aren’t terrible. I would definitely come back, although only during the day on like a weekday when it is not so busy. The only bad thing was a guy sitting near us who literally had his entire buttcrack hanging out the entire time…that definitely spoiled my appetite ? not sure how people can have so little self-awareness and/or not care! Lmao“
“The food was phenomenalThe service was friendly and attentive. The robust conversations of multiple different tables added ambiance not distraction to my experience this morning. The potatoes balls and 'ball sauce' are worth the wait no matter how long.“
“We’ve been twice and both times we’ve had the same server who is fantastic and very attentive. The food is definitely unique, but customizable and a little pricey, but considering other options in the area, this is definitely a whole run.“
“Went to this location in March 2024. We haven’t been to WH anywhere since 2021.We each had breakfast. Pretty good. Eggs a little over cooked which our server offered to replace before we had a chance to even look at them. Everything is what you’d expect from the WH breakfast experience.Server is top notch. Very attentive, prompt, accommodating and FRIENDLY!We’d go back if we’re ever in the area again.“
“Great place, good food. The service lacks a bit at times. We asked for water when we ordered our coffee's, we got our coffee then our food and never got the water. The waitress never came back until we were almost done with our food. Three of us asked for water and she only brought two. Kind of feels like a loud cafeteria but the food is absolutely delicious. The we had to wait 10+ min to check out. Not one person stated "I'll be with you in a minute" everyone just walked right past. Communication is key and they lack the communication.“
“I went here with a group, and it was my first time at a Scramblers. I like that they have a separate room for large groups. Our waitress was friendly and very good with large groups. The menu was easy to read and had plenty of gluten-free options.Dietary restrictions: Lots of gluten-free options. Gluten-free bread is available at an upcharge.“
“Scrambles ALWAYS gives excellent service AND excellent food. Good job, folks. While they have the same lack of employees issues that most restaurants have right now, the staff tries hard to do a good job, and the menu has remained the same.Dietary restrictions: There are so Many choices at Scrambler's that you are guaranteed a delicious breakfast, no matter your dietary needs.“
“We hit Waffle House often when we are in the areas where they exist. They are consistent for inexpensive breakfast and I’m a huge hash brown fan. This Toledo-ish location has been on a drive towards our tv repair shop and they do all the stuff… and have a good pot of coffee too.“
“I came to this Waffle House with friends while visiting Ohio from the UK, and it was such an interesting and fun experience for me. I had always seen these restaurants in movies and found it really amazing to come and eat at one myself! We had such a friendly waitress who served us extremely well, and catered to everything we needed. I asked her to bring whatever she recommended and I really enjoyed the food, and was very stuffed when I left!Overall the experience was very good, my only critique is that my eggs were slightly underdone, but it didn’t really bother me because everything else was pretty top notch!“
“Listen, I'm here for a good time, not a long time. We come here most Wednesday nights at midnight. This chef hooks you UP with the hashbrowns. I only ordered two and I was served a mountain of potatoes. You can live like a king here with $10.Keep slinging fat taters and we'll be back.“
“IHOP is stepping their game up and I think might have an edge on Bob Evens since the last time I went. Food was good and reasonbly priced. The service was really good and the folks were frendily. It's a cookie cutter franchise and experience will vary depending on your neck of the woods. In mine, I think these guys might be the breakfast champs!“
“The restaurant was clean and the staff were very nice. However, I don’t think it competes with other breakfast places around. There weren’t a ton of options, or at least ones that I would reach for, it felt too commercialized, and was a bit pricy for what you get. Regardless, our food was good but it wouldn’t be my first choice out of other nearby breakfast places.“
“Great food, relatively easy way to self order. Caveat: some of the simplest options i.e. getting a water, was not on the automated menu. Interestingly enough, the automated menu was a much better experience that that I had with staff at Foccacia's Toledo earlier that day.“
“I truly enjoy the food and service. I mostly go at night. Much improved experience with this shift more reliable, consistent quality and timeliness of customer orders. The night manager Valerie provides excellent customer service! I hope she is compensated for her worth for the much improved night customer experience! So, if you work late or are out and need good food in the Talmadge area, I recommend stopping by IHOP! A matter of fact stop by anytime!!!“
“Definitely very good. Service was good and fast, you can have coffee while waiting for your table, the food is not in large portions because it is not the kind of restaurant to do that, taste was nice. Prices are reasonable. One coffee is enough for two people. The water is served with lime on a pitcher, which is nice.“
