The Island Grind is such a unique addition to Middle Bass. It's located right off the Miller dock behind the historic Lonz Winery which gives you the perfect first, or last, stop when you're visiting the island! I always get a frozen chai and it's unlike anything I've ever had from any cafe. They also have a prohibition bar around the side and it looks straight out of the 1920s and the drinks are delicious. Jane is amazing! She was kind, courteous and helpful. Honestly I wish I went there on the first day of my trip. The coffee was amazing and I'm definitely going back to check out her speak easy. Make her your first stop if you are new to the area and need the low down.
