“ I DO RECOMMEND!My wife and I were traveling from a different state. We found this place on a quick google search. Food quality was great, we were the only 2 people eating at the time and found the service to be quite slow. Thankfully we didn’t have much to do that evening but still felt the service could’ve been a tad quicker. After waiting about 50 minutes for our main course we noticed it was room temp at best and by the time we were almost finished it was cold. This place has the potential to be 5/5 stars if the service was faster.“
“A fun night out and a great way to try lots of different sushi. Each plate only has a few pieces which allows you to find ones you really like and also order more via the train. They have a few non sushi options to satisfy people who don’t like it but still want to go.“
“The Seafood Ramen and Curry Rice are my favorites. The takoyaki is very good too! The dishes are packed with flavor. I'd eat here every day if I could. The portions are generous and the price is on point for the size and quality of the meals. I recently got take out and it was just as nice as in the restaurant. I'm new to this area but Osaka is already a favorite of mine.“
“The staff we're very friendly. I say this many times, and it wasn't that they were gushing over me, but they seemed genuinely happy to have me there. Not just a pleasantry.I ordered the ramen bowl with lots of sesame. I asked how spicy it was, and the wires said medium, and I would agree. It was a little spicier than I would normally order, but I really enjoyed it.I will definitely go back to try other dishes. They have many sides or apps that look really good.Vegetarian options: I am not vegetarian, but the menus clearly mentions which dishes are vegetarian & which are gluten free.Parking: This restaurant within a more modern outdoor mall. The parking was a little tight due to the layout of the lot and some one-way areas within the lot. You can not see the name of the restaurant from the main street. It faces towrds other business further back.“
“My girlfriend and I look forward to going here every weekend. I was cautious about leaving a review because I didn’t want anyone to know how great this place was. It should be packed more often. Great beers, amazing food, and awesome people.“
“First time eating here, will definitely return. Server was amazing! Great personality, quick, and on top of everything. Food was delicious. Appetizers came out quick and hot. Great show watching them on the hibachi. Not busy for a Sunday afternoon. Definitely worth a visit!“
“Have ordered take out twice and both experiences were amazing. Hostess is very kind and accommodating and food has been delicious. Very high quality ramen, sushi, and bottles of sake to-go. Looking forward to dining in for our next meal here!“
“Food and service was great, especially being all the way out in cincy area. Atmosphere was mediocre, but not one to complain about. Their sushi definitely more on the expensive side when comparing to even the major cities, but one of the better end sushi places you can get.“
“I've been going to YiHi Japan in the Eastgate Mall since I was a little kid. I live further away now but still think about it from time to time. A recent review was very negative and accused this place of having changed management/teriyaki sauces/recipes and being very gross now. This scathing review had me questioning if my old favorite restaurant really was falling apart. I haven't been in at least two years and knew I had to see for myself!I just went and picked up my usual chicken teriyaki. The wait was much quicker than I expected and the workers were very kind. The food is delicious and tastes just as I remember it tasting! So no, they have not changed their teriyaki sauces/recipes, and if they have changed managers or have new staff, I certainly can't see any negative difference!I don't know what that other lady ate, but it must not have actually been from this YiHi Japan! Maybe one of the restaurants nextdoor, but the teriyaki sauce is not different. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone. Don't let the Karens or the fact that it's in a mall turn you off. It's fantastic.“
“Absolutely love this place, my boyfriend and I have been coming here since they opened. We try to come once or twice a month because we are obsessed. Their food is fantastic! I always have left overs because they give you such a great amount. We usually get the hibachi with shrimp and noodles or the hibachi with shrimp and scallop and they always make it just right. Their quality of shrimp is very very good too its always pretty large not those small shrimps! The yum yum is very very good too! I highly recommend to anyone wanting hibachi that's worth their money or just great food in general.“
“Nikki was my server and she was friendly. She recommended us the couples flight which we did. It did take about 30 minutes or more until we got our meat to cook when we were on a time crunch. The table next to us was extremely loud so I was unable to have a conversation with my date. Food was a large amount for fair pricing. We will go back but will ask to be in a more secluded table towards the front.“
“Stopped in at around 4 on Sunday, we were immediately greeted and given a seat. I’d never had ramen before, the server was extremely helpful in giving suggestions on what to try. Not only this, but she gave great attention to detail and was very attentive. The food was excellent, but the service we received really made the experience. I recommend anyone to stop and give this place a try. You won’t regret it.“
“They serve the best sushi I've had in Cincinnati. Authentic and not run of the mill. The place can be crowded at peak times. The main dining are is a little short on ambiance, but the outstanding menu makes up for that. Great service, very accommodating. Hours are limited, make sure they're open before you plan to go.Parking: I was able to find a metered parking spot on the same block, but it was the only one open. It's a busy street, so having someone step out to direct cars while you park is helpful“
“I went there for the first time. The woman who was working the register was very nice! All of my food came out very fresh and it did not take very long for my order to come out. This place is for sure one of my new favorite places. Phenomenal food and service!“
“The food always looks and tastes fresh. Sushi has the tendency to not be filling, but at FUSIAN, I feel you really get your money’s worth. I really enjoy having the ability to customize my sushi rolls, as not many places allow you to do that. I also appreciate how many cooked protein options are available. Service is always fast and friendly.Overall, I would recommend!“
“Better than I expected for a nice filling meal. My food was hot and fresh. The entire establishment was clean and smelled nice; even the restroom. The previous owners of the Chinese Restaurant had boxes everywhere including the restroom (cleaning products).I was very please with the speed of service and the quality. This will be my new fave place to go for a quick hibachi meal.“
“We stopped here after our favorite place was too busy and found a new favorite! The sushi was reasonably priced and had generous portions. The chicken hibachi was super tender and flavorful. The place is impeccably clean and the fried food tasted like it had fresh oil.The only critique I have is there’s no music and the place was super empty on Saturday at 3, so it was very quiet. Some quiet music or something would improve the atmosphere greatly. Will definitely be back!“
“Very nice place with a traditional restaurant, a teppanyaki option, and a full bar. Our group went for sushi and noodles and really enjoyed the food. The gyoza is fried and crispy, and the beef yaki udon is loaded with meat and veggies and tastes great. Their lunch specials are a great deal, just barely more than you'd pay for a fast food option.“
“If you're looking for good sushi on a budget, Cloud 9 is the spot for you. This restaurant offers half-off sushi if you dine in, making it an awesome deal. You can try a bunch of different rolls without breaking the bank. The sushi is always fresh, and they have a pretty big menu, so you can find something you like. The atmosphere at Cloud 9 is pretty basic, but it's clean and has a couple of TVs to keep you entertained while you eat. The service is quick, and the staff is friendly. If you're in the mood for sushi and don't want to spend a lot, Cloud 9 is the perfect choice.“
“We came for lunch. They have regular menu and hibachi. We ate the regular menu. The sushi was really good. We ordered spicy tuna, spicy salmon and tempura shrimp. We also ordered a bento box with pork katsu. They both came with a salad and the house mushroom soup; both tasty, but too much dressing on the salad. The 3 rolls were $12.50. The only downside is that the pieces are really big, but this is a great value for the money. The bento box came with a veggie spring roll, soup, salad, 3 pieces of California roll, rice, and pork katsu.Overall service was good and quick but not overly friendly. The amount of food you get for the money is very good. The lunch atmosphere when we were there was weird. It was empty, a little dirty and country music was playing. The outside is not inviting but go in anyway. We will be back and I want to try the hibachi.Parking: Lots of spots. Entrance is off the side street not the Main Street.“
