“I have wanted to stop and eat here for at least 25 years and never did until today. It looks exactly how I imagined it looked 35 years ago, which is perfect. Classic diner with great wait staff and quick wait times. Came for lunch on a Friday and got right in around noon. Had the bacon cheeseburger and it was easily one of the best burgers I've ever had. My friends fish sandwich was good too. Will be back again!“

“First time visiting today after numerous recommendations. Entering into the restaurant we were greeted by a social, happy man. He seated us within a minute and told us the name of our server. The feeling of the environment is very family like, and warm. I ordered the Triple Play with a side of home fries (a behemoth of food) in order to try as much as I could, one son ordered the Country Fried Steak and Eggs, and my other son ordered the Meatlovers Scramble. Eggs over easy perfectly cooked, texas toast perfect level of toastiness with just the right amount of butter, I do wish my home fries had a little more crisp to them... next time I will ask for that. Our server was on top of coffee refills and checked with us several times. ? My only knock was my food at dispense was warm and not hot. That could just be a matter of preference though. Overall, this is a great little place in our community and I definitely recommend Pete's for breakfast. We will be back.Kid-friendliness: Very family friendly place.“

“I love this place because it opens early and you can get a good breakfast if you wake up hungry! The waitresses are always very kind and attentive and the food always comes out quick.For my visit today I ordered a standard breakfast (eggs/toast/Homefries/meat) with some sausage gravy and coffee.Everything was delicious!I highly recommend this place for breakfast for sure!“

She was borderline over serving out table, but it was pleasant without being too overbearing.Food was nominal.Classic American food style, nothing too special. More care and respect could have been shown to the food, but don't expect much from a younger kitchen staff and workers who don't appreciate food as much as they could. Sloppily put together.Atmosphere was casual and friendly.Kitchen had loud and low frequency humming coming from back, every time it turned on it drowned out the local noises of conversation. “Food was what you would expect for a nice country style family restaurant... except for the dessert.... fenominal pie! They have many other desserts ( you can even buy a large variety of whole deliciously made pies) aside from pie they had huge m&m cookies, tons of brownies, and scones and and much more. I really recommend this place for a family outting. Prices are good and the food is good.“
“The prices are great, but what really impressed me was the taste of the food. I have never had French toast that was so perfectly cooked. I also got one biscuit and gravy and it was so big, it could have been a meal in itself. The biscuit was flaky and fresh. My only complaint, and it is surprising coming from a diner, is that the coffee was not good. It was bitter. It tasted like decaf, though I am sure it wasn't. It was just not good. Everything else made up for it though.“

I ordered the new farmer bar b que beef dinner ($12.49), see pics swing & a miss! My wife enjoyed her chicken fried steak. I also ordered blueberry banana oatmeal which was very good. To me the food at any Bob Evens is hit or miss, right or wrong.“
