Food is inexpensive especially for the serving I had. I ordered chicken and waffles the waffles was good the chicken was fried great but I wish the chicken had more seasoning. That's just my preference but overall good place.

First Time here. Prices were extremely reasonable. Service was exceptional and the food was very good. The light oak finish on all of the furniture gives it a very clean and appealing look.

It was good to find a small diner that was open on a Monday. Many small businesses we tried were closed. The waitresses were very friendly and thorough. Our drinks were refilled without asking. Our order was taken quickly but the food took a while to come out. The food was hot and tasty and worth the wait. My friend had the Big Egg omelette. It was a very large portion and filled with plenty of meat and veggies served with a side of hash browns. I had the garden skillet which was eggs over red skinned potatoes. The veggies were peppers, onions, mushrooms and spinach. Very fresh tasting and large enough portions. Prices here are very affordable. This place is definitely worth a try. They don't only serve breakfast.

In the late 80s I was a regular for Sunday brunch at the Big Egg when it was in Cleveland on Detroit Road. I was pleasantly surprised to learn the Big egg is still slinging hash in North Olmsted. I got the Chicken Teriyaki Philly Sandwich with hand cut fries for $9.99. The food was served fast and hot. It was a very tasty sandwich and nicely portioned. The restaurant is spacious and there are booths and tables for larger groups. I will be back when in the area.

this was not a pleasant experience we looked at the menu checked out the prices when we got our bill it was way more than expected. when I asked about why, I was told pricing went up . so I asked why wasn't that explained I was told that it must've slipped their mind. now I understand prices are going up on everything. but I would like to know what I'm spending before I ordered. what happens if I order at a price that's on the menu I only have a certain amount of money I get the bill and it's way more expected?

Tried it twice, because the first time the restaurant was pretty busy. I thought I’d give it another try, and on my second visit there was only a few customers. The service was still very slow, the coffee was still weak, the food was again, barely average. ?

I went to the Big egg yesterday morning for breakfast and when I ordered, I said to my waitress “ I will take white toast with my breakfast, IF it comes with it! I received my breakfast with the toast. Then, I was waiting and waiting for my check and a small box, while watching her walking around talking on her phone. (For about 30 min) I got my check and when I looked at it, I was charged an extra $2.50 for the toast! A good waitress would of said “ toast does not come with it and it’s an extra $2.50 if you want it. I did not leave her a tip, which is not my style at all. I usually tip very well. Today I went in again for breakfast with my husband and was charged an automatic gratuity of 25% on my bill! Which they have NEVER done in the past. Is one not allowed to not tip due to bad service? That’s ok because I left the good waitress I had today an extra $3.50 on top of this automatic gratuity of $2.88. To show that her service was very good! I will not be returning to the big egg, ever again! This is very BAD customer service and they lost a good customer! SMH ? fyi: guy walking around with a cigarette hanging out of his mouth in the kitchen! How Disgusting!

It's definitely a family restaurant.if you are a regular you just come in and sit wherever you want. It was our first time there so they seated us. Everyone was very nice. We asked if the pancakes were buttermilk. The waitress didn't know ,but the Cook came out of the kitchen and told us they were. We will be going back there again. Love it.
