In the late 80s I was a regular for Sunday brunch at the Big Egg when it was in Cleveland on Detroit Road. I was pleasantly surprised to learn the Big egg is still slinging hash in North Olmsted. I got the Chicken Teriyaki Philly Sandwich with hand cut fries for $9.99. The food was served fast and hot. It was a very tasty sandwich and nicely portioned. The restaurant is spacious and there are booths and tables for larger groups. I will be back when in the area.
It's definitely a family restaurant.if you are a regular you just come in and sit wherever you want. It was our first time there so they seated us. Everyone was very nice. We asked if the pancakes were buttermilk.The waitress didn't know ,but the Cook came out of the kitchen and told us they were. We will be going back there again. Love it.

It was good to find a small diner that was open on a Monday. Many small businesses we tried were closed. The waitresses were very friendly and thorough. Our drinks were refilled without asking. Our order was taken quickly but the food took a while to come out. The food was hot and tasty and worth the wait. My friend had the Big Egg omelette.
