Mom and I stopped by here for dinner the other day. She said it’s one of her go to spots for pizza in Cleveland so I had to give it a try. For starters, it feels like you’re stepping into a Rat-pack Speakeasy as soon as you enter. The ambiance was breathtaking and I truly fell in love with their decor, being a Frank Sinatra fan. Our server was super nice and on top of drinks. But this restaurant has changed since the ownership changed. We went on BOGO Wednesday and ordered 4 solo pizza and wings. 2/4 pizzas were BURNT. The one wasn’t brought out. The one that was we had to explain was inedible. And then wait for two new pizzas to be made. The wings were good though. Danny boys pizza is one of the best pizza places in the Midwest. I lived in Chicago and there were very few places that were as good as this. I highly suggest the woogie or a calzone. They have everything from New York style to Chicago deep dish. The double stuffed gangster pie is by far my favorite pizza ever, and tastes even better reheated. The decorations around the restaurant are really cool and fun to look at. Dry Italian themed place.
