“Couldn’t recommend this restaurant more! I think every employee came up to us throughout our dinner to greet us, ask if we needed anything, cleared plates, filled our cups, etc. Also, our server was very knowledgeable about what was and was not gluten free on their menu. Their gluten free bun for the burger is fantastic! Such a great atmosphere as well. Can’t wait to be back.“

“Not sure what expectations went unmet to earn. Three star rating for this small Mexican restaurant in Oberlin. Maybe service was inattentive, or the menu was too vast, but for my money, in a region of Mexican restaurants, this one stood out to me. Chips were most likely out of a bag came with a generous serving of salsa. Entrees were served hot and delicious. My chimichangas were delightfully tasty with a cream sauce and a requested verde sauce. The guacamole salad, rice and beans were light accompaniments to the tasty chimichangas. Although they sprang into the Mexican food vernacular from a Scottsdale, Arizona, Mexican restaurant, they can be found world wide including Mexico. The origin story I heard was that a few Chinese workers In Scottsdale were on their way to work eating these roll ups. The owner of a restaurant thought she heard them ask for another chimichanga. When she went to the family restaurant she experimented with roll ups and walla, the chimichanga was born. My wife ordered #53 steak tacos. Again, straight forward the soft taco was covered with garlicky seasoned and salted flank steak. Marinated meat, easy to chew and flavorful to boot, a home run. Their tall Pacifico beers come in chilled mugs with lime. A five star slightly bigger than a hole in the wall Mexican restaurant, not too far from home. Ole!“

“We started with chips and salsa and asked for a spicier salsa. They brought one out that had a smoky flavor and was fairly spicy. Holy cow... hands down the best salsa we have ever had! We ordered more to take home. The service was awesome, they kept an eye on us and refilled drinks when needed. The food came quickly and was delicious. I live over an hour away and plan on coming back just to eat there!“

“Stopped in today for lunch and was incredibly surprised! This place should be slammed all the time. I got the taco platter, 3 tacos and a small portion of rice and refried beans. It was so delicious and fresh! People frequent garbage places, this'll be a repeat lunch option for sure. High highly recommend!“

“Amazing authentic Mexican food and menu. From the outside you can hardly tell it is a Mexican restaurant. I haven’t had anything this close to authentic and tasted this good in Ohio ever so since I moved back from California in 2013. I had the burrito with steak and al pastor and rice and bean and tamales.“

“The chimichanga loca was amazing & huge! The margs were on the lighter side, alcohol wise. The language barrier was obvious, but didn't effect the quality of the food. Atmosphere-wise, we had a table with a poorly replaced light bulb that was far too bright. If you don't mind any of those things, it's 5-stars easy.“

“The service is outstanding. The manager Jesus was the best. The ambiance is typical Mexican restaurant with colorful walls and stocked bar. The margaritas are the best and always special price. I got the seafood Molcajete and was not disappointed at all.“

“Outdoor seating in the spring or summer is great. Food is always good but service could be better. I love the birria pizza but it was amazing the first time I had it and lacking the second time… they could work on consistency I have noticed with ordering things twice here and there.“
