Woody's One Up Bar, or as it is affectionately referred to as "Chaaaanks", is genuinely the best establishment in Oxford. Never in my life did I think that I could find a place that felt like home, yet chaaaanks has provided me with just that. I don't think there are enough words in the English language to express my profound affection to this holy sanctuary. Everything about this place, from the grimy black exterior, to the steamy mirrors behind the DJ, is too wonderful to describe. Speaking of the DJ, what a bro. He bangs out the hottest tunes of the century EVERY. SINGLE. NIGHT. He never disappoints when taking requests, either. He may actually be God.
