Very nice ambiance, and nice location - very close to my job and right next to a cute little Mexican market with pan dulce and other cool foods and spices. It took around 15-20 minutes for my 3 tacos al pastor to be ready, and they were SO juicy and delicious. The food at the restaurant is so so good. You’ll be back in no time, wanting more.The mercado has everything—produce, meats, masa, sweets, munchies. AND my favorite was the giant pots full of tamales.You need to put this place on your list.
The best way I would describe this place is a hidden gem. As a Chicago native, I know what a good taco is and I would definitely give this place my stamp of approval. I walked in this place expecting mediocre tacos especially choosing from McDonald's and KFC this place stood out more.
