It's been years since I've been inside of a Barnes & Noble, and I must say, things have changed. Maybe it's COVID, but they have removed the comfy chairs, and the only chairs are at the cafe. Wah! I was surprised at how spaced out the bookshelves were. Some bookcases were over six feet apart. These large open spaces made me feel exposed, flailing around, not at all comforted like a swaddled infant should feel. At least that is the feeling I would hope to have in a bookstore. A nice Cafe situated inside Barn's & Noble bookstore. They carry a lot of Starbucks coffee and appear to have some excellent arrangement worked out with the cheesecake factory. I had the raspberry cheesecake with black coffee while I waited for my movie to start. I saved some money on theater food and enjoyed myself thoroughly. Walking into this store is almost nostalgic. I had not been in this store for quite some time, but everything was just as I had remembered it! They have a great selection and the smell of the store is unique in and of itself! Walking into this store was like going home, you feel welcome and invited to browse their selection and take a piece home with you!
