It's really disgusting to go into a coffee shop and see men or boys trying to be as feminine as they possibly can. They do know that the whole world knows they're acting like that for attention right?

Walking into this store is almost nostalgic. I had not been in this store for quite some time, but everything was just as I had remembered it! They have a great selection and the smell of the store is unique in and of itself! Walking into this store was like going home, you feel welcome and invited to browse their selection and take a piece home with you!

It's been years since I've been inside of a Barnes & Noble, and I must say, things have changed. Maybe it's COVID, but they have removed the comfy chairs, and the only chairs are at the cafe. Wah! I was surprised at how spaced out the bookshelves were. Some bookcases were over six feet apart. These large open spaces made me feel exposed, flailing around, not at all comforted like a swaddled infant should feel. At least that is the feeling I would hope to have in a bookstore. As usual, whenever I visit a bookstore, I always like to look at the puzzle brain teaser books for my favorite called Hidato, an Israeli logic puzzle game. Nope, not one in sight. Sure, there's Sudoku, Word Search, etc. but no Hidato. The merchandise is expensive, but I did manage to satisfy my bargain craving at the card section, where some of the Hallmark cards were 50% off. I might add that the shelves holding the cards made it difficult to access them. You had to turn them sideways to pull them in and out, which made for another uncomfortable feeling. Finally, I will comment on the cafe. The cafe was well stocked, the workers were nice, and they did a good job keeping the tables clean.

A nice Cafe situated inside Barn's & Noble bookstore. They carry a lot of Starbucks coffee and appear to have some excellent arrangement worked out with the cheesecake factory. I had the raspberry cheesecake with black coffee while I waited for my movie to start. I saved some money on theater food and enjoyed myself thoroughly. There was ample seating, it was clean, and the bathrooms appeared to be well maintained. If this was closer to home, I might find myself visiting regularly.
