“We had lunch this afternoon at the Tin Goose Diner, first time visiting it came highly recommended from my friend Jeff Rahla. We both had smash burgers with iced tea. Our food was very good came out hot. It was a huge bonus getting to watch all the aircraft takeoff and land just outside the diner. The cleanliness of the restaurant was very impressive. Absolutely spotless. Our server, Jacob was very friendly and provided us great service .”

The pizza and cheese bread was demolished so fast as I expected lol The salad was exactly what I wanted for a post-Christmas crunch, and the wings my husband nearly inhaled so I can’t review those personally lol but I will next time! “You know I had written this place off because the several times I went in the bartender I think Julie was her name. Long dark hair skinny girl. The drinks she made me were absolutely horrible! I understand she no longer works there because she had been cheating on her husband and her boyfriend or whatever was coming in and causing problems with customers. Anyways I went back in a couple weeks ago to hear miss kitty and the bartenders there made really great cocktails! Obviously that bartender was the problem.”

“My husband ordered the Lake Erie perch sandwich and swears it was some other fish. Size of the filet was much larger than a Lake Erie perch. After reading other reviews, we see that there were complaints about this issue recently. The menu says “Lake Erie perch sandwich”. Nothing about an up charge for Lake Erie perch.”

“Fairly new bar in downtown Port Clinton and what a pleasant addition to Port Clinton. They have a tap wall located just as you walk in and this wall has several craft beer and cocktails on tap and ready for you to pour yourself. They also have domestic beers at the bar along with what looked like a fully stocked bar. They also have pool tables, dart boards, cornhole and pinball machines for something else to do while you grab a drink. We were there on a busy Saturday afternoon while a festival was going on and with the tap wall there was never a wait to get a drink. They also had live music on a small stage that added to our enjoyment. I plan on going back this summer when I’m back in the area and you should definitely check it out if you are anywhere nearby.”

The Mac pizza was a hit with the kids, the New York white was a little more “adult” but my husband and I both agreed that the Mac n cheese pizza was probably the best pizza we’ve ever had. Will definitely order it again when we return to the area!”

“Saw the sign for Big Boy from the highway and did a hard exit to see if it was the tastes I remember from childhood. I had a great experience. Water front dining at casual food prices. The server was wonderful (?Anton?). The restaurant, parking lot, and bathroom were all clean. My coffee cup stayed full and hot and the hot fudge ice cream cake was delicious and loaded with warm, smooth fudge; it indeed brought back childhood memories. I will go back if I'm in the area again. I would only ask that the outside windows be cleaned to have an even better water view.”
