This is a huge Kroger! The employees are always working very diligently and always very nice and helpful. However, I think possibly because we MAY have a FEW less than savory customers in our area, the store itself always looks “rode hard and put away wet,” with dingy floors and random stinky odors. Kroger here in Portsmouth has friendly staff. The staff here are always helpful and manage to keep everything stocked. The gas prices are good. It may be a little hard to find a parking spot though.

My check wouldn't go through due to a new system and the young man bagging my groceries payed 5 dollars of my bill when I didn't have enough cash. His name is Mason, and I'm thankful to his kind soul! He deserves a raise!
