To be clear, the people are nice. The food is good. But you can almost never get any food. They are always out of everything. If you are hungry, unless you are the very first customer there in a day, you are not eating. I've been to nocterra a lot. And only once or twice have I gotten what I wanted from Ray Rays.In general, if it's later in the day and your hungry, eat somewhere else first.

Ray Rays was televised on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. Living almost two hours away it was on our bucket list. Ray Ray's is now on our monthly list. This food truck has the friendliest staff and best meats around. No need for BBQ sauce. The ribs are dry rubbed, chicken is wet and brisket is to die for. Not to mention the macaroni & cheese. Their bread is baked daily!! The collard greens are packed with a smoky flavor. Picked onions are my favorite side. Stop at Ray Ray's and let the guys hook you up with a great meal.

Great ribs, def get dry rub w/ sauce on side. Jerk chicken is so good, probably my favorite item. Also waffle fries. Solid bbq quick and easy at Nocterra.

got the beef brisket sandwich with a dry rub and it was fine. totally just okay. i think i was supposed to get a sauce too and they just didn't give it to me, which made for a very very dry sandwich. also was told my payment didn't go through but that i could just not worry about it. so i went back and tipped an extra $7 in cash. then i found out my order actually did fro through. so they just got a whole second tip. in total my meal was like $33 or something for a sandwich, a small mac and cheese (bad, did not eat), a coke, and a brownie + tip.

Once again, they don’t have what they need for their weekend special. This is the third time we’ve gone on a weekend and they either don’t have all the ingredients to make the dish or are totally out. It’s only served on weekends, so it seems crazy that they’re not prepared. The food is good when they actually have what they advertise. We even go early to avoid these issues and it still doesn’t matter.

I’m from NC and love BBQ. Got the meat sweats tray. Mostly dry and relatively flavorless. I would actually put this on the same level as city BBQ if not slightly worse.Brisket- Dry and flavorless (some of the worst I’ve ever had)Sausage- Dry and flavorlessJerk Chicken-Very good flavor but dry (good sauce)Ribs- Horrible, poor flavor, tough and chewy and dry. Some of the worst ribs I’ve had. If your ribs are this bad you need an intervention.Pulled pork- Not much to say. Flavorless and dry.Guy working was a bit of an idiot too.
