Vegan Restaurants near Ravenna

“This spot isn't right on the freeway, but when we saw there was a vegan restaurant only 10 minutes off our route, we knew we had to check it out. I'm glad we did! I had a really terrific vegan "chicken" (chickpea) salad wrap, so good in fact that I've been trying to imitate it at home. The inclusion of chopped red grapes was an inspired choice. One of us had a vegan "cream cheese" wrap, but this one was just okay, nothing too special. The prices are great here; nothing on the menu is over $8 unless you modify it in some way. The permanent menu is a bit small - only 6 items - but this is probably understandable since the restaurant seems like a pretty small venture right now. In terms of vibes, this isn't the kind of place we'd usually stop. It doubles as a store front for what the website describes as a "essential oils, halo & infared [sic] therapy" business. Fortunately, there's no pressure to buy anything if you just stop in for lunch.“

“This might be my all-time favorite pizza. In my opinion, it’s neck and neck with Gionino’s as far as taste/quality goes in this area. The only complaint I have is that they have really short hours, but with how high-quality the food is, they can have whatever hours they want. DEFINITELY try them out if you’re a pizza lover!!“

“I had the Tuna Salad with assorted greens,cheese and sweet&sour dressing (comes with a mini-muffin) and I had coffee..It was just enough to eat,the atmosphere is basically you are at your friends house and they just throw a tuna salad together so you can enjoy lunch together..So warm and inviting,staff is friendly,it's very clean..and it struck me that the other patrons there are regulars,staff knew them by name,so that is amazing to me simply because there are so many other places to eat,yet they come back to this Tea Room often enough in their 27 years that everyone knows everyone else..I even knew another patron that was there and we had no plans to meet any where ?So give Susie K's a try..I think you would be pleasantly surprised,I know that myself and my mom were..Parking: Plenty of parking behind the building..“

“I'm so happy to have authentic Mexican food so close to me. Everything we eat here is delicious. We love that there are always new things on the menu to try, and watching the Facebook page for updates on the menu and events like salsa dancing and tequila tastings! “Daisy Pops is the cutest cake pop shop I have ever seen! I originally heard about them on the radio and knew I had to stop. I had one of their spring specials, a cinnamon roll cake pop. It was almost too cute to eat but I'm so glad I ate it because it was delicious! The staff was incredibly kind, helpful and super friendly!“

“I had one of the best meals Tonight. We ordered the crispy goat cheese app. It was savory and sweet. I ordered the Kobe Meatloaf for my entree. It was served with pierogis, asparagus, mushrooms and had a delicious leek cream sauce. We also got a side of fries to share and they were wonderful also. Normally I don't order a dessert, but we all shared the brownie dessert and it was the perfect ending to such a great meal. The restaurant itself is very nice inside and all the employees were pleasant. Try this place if you haven't already!!“

“I had Barbacoa Tostadas and one of the chef’s specialties. Both were delicious and had some of their secret mild and spicy sauce on display. Apparently one of the chef’s handcrafts a new meal for their menu each month. So feel free to give them a try. My own folks loved them. Just remember to add water when ordering.“

“My favorite Thai restaurant in the region! Tasty food including good plant-based options. I especially love the calm atmosphere and relaxing Thai music, and the owner/hostess is so friendly and welcoming. It’s always a pleasure to come here!Vegetarian options: The curry dishes all have vegan options as well as a couple soups. There are several other dishes with vegetarian options.Dietary restrictions: The waitress always asks upfront about any allergies/diet restrictions, which is above and beyond other restaurants.“

“We were in town for a concert and decided to stop by Ray's for a late lunch/early dinner. Ray's is a super casual townie bar. Service was quick and friendly. They offer a good variety of local beer options as well as old standards. My husband ordered the cheeseburger and onions rings. They were great, he said the burger tasted fresh off the bbq! I ordered the poutine fries - the serving is more than enough to share with a group and oh was it good. The meat was smoky and delicious and the fries were crisp- so good. We would definitely recommend Ray's and return if we're in town!“

“Wife and I stopped in for breakfast. The coffee is absolutely amazing. Best coffee we have had at any restaurant in the past 10 years. Food was amazing. Pork sausage was perfectly cooked. Poached eggs cooked perfectly. Can't wait to come back!“

“Went here for the first time for some macarons at a friend's recommendation! They were DELICIOUS and honestly quite large which I adored. Solid prices and the staff was oh so sweet. Also they had gluten free peanut butter blossoms and I was told they do specialty orders so I'm very excited :) will 100% be back and 10/10 would recommendDietary restrictions: Gluten free, dairy free“

“I tried this place for the first time today. I was with a coworker who frequents here. He was acting like a pro to me with this place telling all about this and that...well, I finally got to the bottom of it. Yeah, he's been there a lot and can tell me how amazing the mac and cheese is....bc that's all he's ever ordered lol.Well, I ordered the buffalo wrap. I added tofu and subbed kalamata olives in place of tomatoes. This was a very fresh, simple and tasty meal. I am not from the area but am absolutely looking forward to the next time I am in. Grazers each day would even help me another way. I stop daily for a kombucha. They have that here, too. Everyone was friendly, and they came out and made sure our food was good while we were eating, which surprised me. The restaurant was very clean as well.Vegetarian options: When I say everything is vegetarian, it is not. But it basically is and you can add various proteins. Great spot, wish there were more like it.“

“The food was amazing, they have a great shake menu, too much to try to explain.. the service was fantastic and they have daily food specials. I had a single burger with mushrooms and swiss, and a cherry mocha malted shake (which was huge) for under $10.. I'm so glad I missed the bus !! Lol. Will definitely be going back!!!“

“Always super food! Portions are unbelievable and flavor is always good. I loved the fried shrimp. Also tried a bite of the lamb chops, prime rib, surf and turf and the lobster for my family’s plates and everything was delicious. Their lobster is better than anywhere else in my opinion. Simple with butter because the actual flavor of the lobster is so good it doesn’t need a lot of added seasoning. The only thing I did not care for was the sausage but that is because I am not a fan of spicy and it had a little spice to it. The decor is not fancy which is okay with me. I would prefer good quality of food over mediocre food because paying for a fancy atmosphere. Waitress was attentive and answered questions and accommodated my family’s crazy requests and preferences. If you like great food and leftovers the next day this is the place to go in Kent, Akron, Canton or Youngstown. Just make sure to check the hours or call to make sure they are open because hours have been shortened, the waitress said since COVID hard to find staff. Also no credit cards, only cash or check- always been that way for as long as I can remember. I am sure this is to help keep prices down due to all the CC fees. They do have an ATM there but you may have to pay a fee. I always just pick up some cash in the way. IT IS WORTH IT!“

“The tacos here are average. There's not a lot of flavor. What I do like is they have a little bar of salsas so you can get whatever salsa you want and as much of it as you want. What I don't like are the corn chips they're pretty flavorless. In addition the staff is subpar on friendliness.“
