“Excellent shrimp egg foo young, perhaps the best in the city with their homemade gravy. Inside atmosphere is dated, but...food is excellent. We have tried the shrimp and chicken egg foo young, pepper steak, egg rolls, and sweet and sour chicken, of which we can all highly recommend.“

“It might not look amazing on the outside, but the food was amazing and they take care of you, quick service... it's a mom and pa restaurant that is probably the nicest place I've eaten at in a while. If you come here please bring good vibes and don't ruin my time hereWheelchair accessibility: Small ramp to get on, friendly staff and will definitely set you up. Watched them take care of an older gentleman, put some napkin in his shirt to help keep food off him“

“This is a buffet where you can taste a variety of fusion Chinese food. It's about $12 and once you're seated, you'll be asked for a drink and it'll be euros. If you ask for water, it's free. The overall taste is good and there are a variety of desserts. At the open bar with a view of the cooking facilities, you put raw ingredients on a plate and bring them to the iron plate next to you, where they are stir-fried in the sauce of your choice. There are rice noodles and Chinese raw noodles. When it comes out stir-fried, it's a good idea to put about a dollar in the container in front of you.No matter where you go nearby, the value for money cannot be beat here.Parking: There is always plenty of space in the open parking lot.Kid-friendliness: It's good enough to take and feed even small children.Wheelchair accessibility: You can use it just by removing the chair.“

“QQ Kitchen is one of the jewels of Toledo. The food is uniquely amazing. It never disappoints. The artistry of the kitchen staff is evident in every dish they prepare. The Wonton soup is, hands down, the best I have ever had anywhere. Plus, their wait staff is amazing. So kind.“

“I've had takeout many times from this place. The food portions are extremely generous and the vegetables are always very fresh. There is, however, a language barrier if you order over the phone. Today, I attempted to order two entrees of chicken with peadods with spicy garlic sauce on the side and received two orders of chicken with peapods with garlic sauce on the entrees and extra garlic sauce on the side. The food was top notch quality and yet it was frustrating not to receive the orders with sauce on the side. They are very generous with the sauce, but not what I wanted. Still recommend this place; just be very clear about what you're ordering.“

I definitely recommend if your in the mood for the best old school real mom and pop Chinese! We both at and had drinks for under $30 with appetizers and enough food for at least another meal a piece. It's carry out the tables were clean. The tv had the news playing quietly.“

“Not only is this the best takeout in town, they are the most immaculately clean restaurant I've visited in months. Everything is compliant, every employee wearing masks correctly, and they sealed off the kitchen from the customer area so there is zero contact between employees and customers.“

“Very good food, reasonable prices. Nice staff! Ordered the General Tso Chicken and an extra egg roll (each meal came with an egg roll and fried rice). $21.00 out the door for 2 meals. Can't even get two fast food meals for that price anymore, and this came with a LOT more food!“

“The food here has always been pretty good. There service has always been good. It's really tough to rate Asian take-out restaurants because I'm fairly certain most of the food they serve comes from the same suppliers. However in this case, I don't eat sushi, so I can only compare what I do eat. The rest of their food though is good and you shouldn't be disappointed.“

“The food is good every time I go here. The staff are always friendly and I consistiently recieve my order in a timely manner. I do have to say that the last time I was here the drive-thru speaker was pretty bad. If it hasn't been fixed since I was here last, then that needs to happen. It was difficult to understand the employee due to the speaker issues, and that made the experience awkward and off-putting. But once I got to the window it was so much better.“

“This is our go to Chinese takeout spot. The food for me is mindblowing, but typical takeout Chinese which is fine. I just appreciate the service I always get. They took covid super seriously with a lot of measures for safety which I appreciate and they are always friendly and fast. It's really just a takeout place at this point. I think there may be a few tables but it would be awkward to dine-in there IMO. It's good for what it is though and they'll keep getting my business.“

“We had to find a new Chinese restaurant after our local favorite restaurant closed. A little farther away, but well worth the drive was the Fortune Inn. My wife Beef Chop Suey dinner was great, my Beef Broccoli dinner was also delicious. There was a generous portion of beef and broccoli, the beef was thinly sliced and very tender and flavorful, the dinner comes with a chicken wing, egg roll and soup, my egg drop was good . Only thing missing was Chinese mustard, but I did not ask when picking up. Good food, good carry out recommendation 100%... give them a try!!!“

“such a simple place and yet its one i call home. all stress and worry is immediately gone when i step in there. the koi are quite beautiful and people need to stop thowing coins in their pond. honestly i have such a longing for the place when im gone for too long. something about it makes me want to stay. i highly recomend the place! unless you plan on throwing unessecary items into the pond. if your someone who does that you seriously need to stop. as those fish live longer than humans and have a very important life.“

“This is our go to Chinese restaurant in the area. The food is pretty good, much better if you compare it to other Chinese places in the area. Prices are fair. The crab Rangoon has very little crab in it so we don't bother getting it unless they add some in free for the wait. Service is usually pretty quick and after ordering dozens of times they have never gotten our order wrong once.Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options, and even more options that can be made vegetarian on request.Parking: The parking lot here is the biggest gripe we have. It's small for the ammount of shops in the plaza, and it's set up extremely disorderly. Parking lot is fairly clean but not well maintained.Kid-friendliness: Generally a take out place but there is seating and it would be generally kids fridnly.Wheelchair accessibility: Easily accessible by wheelchair.“

“I usually don’t write reviews but this small business deserves a shout out!My family and I order from here all the time and have been customers for years. Seriously the best Chinese in the city!!The food is always fresh and the staff is super nice. They make it feel personal for us when we call because they know our order. They do small things to make us feel like a valued customer. (Usually I call later in the evening and if I call earlier they will joke that I’m ordering earlier than normal.) One time they even brought my kids small candies.I highly recommend them! I have never been disappointed by their food or service.“

If you order the wrong thing, they will fix it when you come in. “This place is takeout only, which is perfectly fine with me. We eat here several times a week - the company I work for. HUGE FANS! The food is always great and has great flavor, there isn't anything on the menu that we haven't liked so far. The staff are very nice here as well, very helpful. We also love - and appreciate- the little coupons that they offer. Absolutely will continue coming here, it is the only Chinese restaurant I will eat from in the area.“

“My second visit in a span of 2 days (late to posting this review)The service was quick, friendly, and the food was fresh! They piled my plate high, they are not stingy here! I wish I remembered the gentleman's name who helped me. He was so sweet and adorable he reminded me of my dad! I want to say his name was Derek? He was a manager, as stated on his name tag. Again, my food was delicious!!! I love the string bean chicken. It's like no other entree there. They also make sure to give you a fortune cookie and 2 soy sauce packets with every order, and And a cutlery pack!“

“General Tso wasn't as spicy as I like it but everything else was good and they are open on Christmas Day so. If you don't want to cook or do dishes and want something hot and filling for good value on all the major holidays they are the spot to go. Almond chicken was pretty good as well. We will be going back.“

“Hi. I have travelled all over this country, have eaten 1000's of restaurants from the north to the south and along the east coast. I don't write reviews, but I have to give proper respect to this place for being what I consider the BEST Chinese food that I have ever had!My favorite is the Kung Pao Chicken. It has the freshest vegetables in them! They are so crisp and delicious when I bite into them. I ask for spicy, because most places just don't have any heat at all. This place has the right kick, without burning your taste buds to the point where you can't taste anymore. It's the kind of heat that makes you want to keep stuffing your mouth. This stuff is so good, and it's even better the next day cold.I just can't understand why some of the people posted here that they didn't like the food, that there wasn't enough chicken or that it was too salty. Total nonsense. I think some people just like to complain. As far as I'm concerned, this place rates number #1 for Chinese Food on my all-time list. I don't even live in Toledo.. or Ohio for that matter. If I did, I would eat here all the time. It's still maybe 2 hours away, and there were moments I still considered the drive.Who would have guessed from the outside what truly a gem this place is! One thing I do know is my food, and often times you find the best things in the most unexpected places. Keep up the good work!“

“I’ve ordered delivery before and they’ve been great but today I ordered and my entree was the wrong one. I called and they instantly took care of it and brought me the correct one! It was delicious as always! The driver almost wouldn’t take my extra tip for bringing me the correct dish. But it was the least I could do. Atleast I didn’t have to pack up the kid and car to go get my correct food. That to me is worth an extra tip in itself. Will keep getting food from here!“

“We had a great experience! We dined in because our kids wanted to eat inside. We bought a house in December and the title company recommended this place to us we moved from out of state and had mentioned we were looking for good Chinese food! It lived up to the recommendation! We had Mongolian beef, orange chicken, lo mein noodles, fried rice, white rice and crab rangu. The orange chicken was the best orange chicken I ever had! The only thing we were a little disappointed about was the fried rice it didn’t have any vegetables in it and from our experience any place we’ve gone to fried rice had vegetables in it we got two cartons of it and neither had any. Looking at other reviews it looks like there is usually vegetables in the fried rice so not sure what happened there. Otherwise we really enjoyed the food and service! Thank you!“

“I absolutely LOVE the sweet & sour chicken here! I am addicted to the s&s sauce. It's thee best I have ever had!The only complaint I have is the egg rolls. When the restaurant first opened the egg rolls were to die for, not so much any more. They changed them a few years ago and they are smaller now and don't taste as good. I still gave 5 stars because the S&S chicken is that good!Parking: Parking lot is a bit small/narrow but it usually isn't an issue since they no longer offer dine-in. Most of the time when picking up an order you can get a spot right by the door.“

“THE BEST almond boneless chicken in town! The breading, it's not doughy, some places the breading isn't done and it's nasty. Also, they don't put freaking mushrooms in it or in everything! I HATE MUSHROOMS!!!! Flower drums almond boneless chicken has the almonds in it, the lettuce underneath and then there's the gravy! It's the gravy!!! Their gravy! Best freaking gravy i want to bathe in it! NO MUSHROOMS in the gravy thank the blue skies! Haha Mmmhmm and they have the BEST fried rice! I love stuff in my rice and NOT PEAS!! Nasty peas! Haha anyways, They put egg, bean sprouts, onion chives, and then meat in it! Yes oh yes! They give you a big portion. I would be devastated if this place ever closed or if they changed their recipes. Oh and they have BIG egg rolls! Just got to ask for the hot mustard. And their chicken noodle soup is a must with some pepper in it and the club crackers ❤️ My mom loved to eat here and when I miss her, it's like a comfort food ❤️❤️❤️ yum this place makes my belly and my heart happy, so thank you ❤️“

“I really enjoy eating here. They have a fantastic atmosphere with nice decor. The food is very good and they have a large selection. Service is top notch with my glass never getting empty. Prices are very fair for an all you can eat buffet.Vegetarian options: They had a lot of meatless dishes and a decent salad bar with lots of fruits and veggies.Parking: Being in a plaza, there was plenty of parking for even a large group.Kid-friendliness: They had a small selection of common food for picky kids. Plenty of desserts and fruits. The steam tables are low enough for most kids to be able to visualize the food before picking.Wheelchair accessibility: The whole plaza is set up with wheelchair parking and accessibility in mind. The doors are large enough for the bigger chairs and scooters.“

“As I navigated the winding roads of Toledo, Ohio in search of culinary inspiration, I stumbled upon the unassuming exterior of King Garden, a Chinese restaurant that belies the treasures within. From the moment I crossed the threshold, I knew I was in for a treat. The scent of spices and sizzling meats wafted through the air, tantalizing my senses and hinting at the delights to come. The decor was modest but charming, evoking a sense of traditionalism that was refreshing in a world of fusion and experimentation.I perused the menu with a sense of curiosity, eager to sample the delights of this hidden gem. And then I heard it - a whispered rumor of a dish that defied convention, that challenged the very boundaries of culinary possibility. It was the legendary "beef and beef" - a creation born of inebriated inspiration and a reckless abandon for tradition.I knew I had to try it.And so it was that I found myself presented with a heaping plate of half beef lo mein and half beef fried rice. The noodles were perfectly cooked, with just the right amount of chew and a savory umami that made my taste buds sing. The rice was fragrant and bursting with flavor, its grains perfectly separated and each piece coated in a delectable sheen of oil.But it was when I combined the two halves that the magic truly happened. The combination of textures and flavors was nothing short of alchemy, the beef and beef greater than the sum of its parts. It was a dish that defied categorization, that broke down the barriers between lo mein and fried rice and elevated both to a new level of deliciousness. And then there was the owner. As I paid my bill and prepared to depart, I heard a familiar voice call out to me. It was the owner of King Garden, who had recognized my voice on the phone from years earlier and knew that I would want a "beef and beef". It was a small gesture, but one that spoke volumes about the care and attention to detail that goes into every dish at this hidden gem of a restaurant.King Garden may be located in the heart of Ohio, far from the culinary meccas of New York or San Francisco, but its food is every bit as exquisite as any Michelin-starred establishment. It is a testament to the power of tradition, the importance of community, and the boundless possibilities of culinary creativity.“

“I like this small family owned business. The greetings are always warm and genuine. The service is fast but not rushed. The food is very good and reasonably priced. I stop here from time to time when I'm passing through town. If you're in the area, give them a try for dine in or take out. * No alcohol* And Here's Something Else To Chew On: Soup and Appetizers: Hot And Sour Soup: This is the real deal. Spicy, tangy and with lots of egg and Tofu. (A+) Egg Drop Soup: Another good one! It's got a full, rich and savory broth with perfect ribbons of eggs swirled in. (A+) Vegetable Egg Rolls: Pretty standard, commercially bought. (B) Crab Rangoon: Not bad. Again, like the egg rolls, pretty standard. (B) Entrees: Almond Boneless Chicken: Excellent! I love that they serve the gravy on the side. It keeps the breading crispy from start to finish. (A+) Cashew Chicken: There's a good amount of chicken and they're not skimpy on the cashews. Good savory flavor. (A) Kung Pao Chicken: Above average version of this dish. A good portion for the money. (B+)“
