“Food is good the portion size of chinese food is less compared to the price otherwise food taste is good. Please ask upfront for the cost because they charge on everything extra u get.if you ask sauce or anything there is a charge & which is understandable but the people who takes your order have to tell you upfront not charging them later saying u have eaten this & that.dnt go on weekends super packed ready to wait in line for 20-30 mins minimum.“
“I took a to go order of nawabi chicken biryani family pack. Food quantity is good enough for 4-5 people. Quality of food is also good. We ordered medium spice but I felt that food was little bit spicy. I also took chiku shake which is too good. Overall it's a good Indian restaurant with good variety of food items.“
“We went here for the first time and we were amazed by delicious food and above n beyond service by all the staff especially “Luvpreet”. I think we have found our permanent place for Indian Food in Mason, Ohio and I’ll also highly recommend to everyone. Give it a try and you will relate with my feedback here.Vegetarian options: Must try their “Saag_Baingan”“
“This place is exceptional! The drinks boast the ideal strength, and every menu item is a guaranteed win. The chicken is not merely an afterthought; it’s intricately cooked within the dish, offering a flawless texture and flavor. From mild to the spiciest, the dishes maintain their delicious taste. The vindaloo is truly extraordinary. My only lament is not being able to devour more!“
“Absolutely loved the food, the staff and overall experience! Would highly recommend eating here! Everyone was so helpful, kind and welcoming! The restaurant was so clean, organized and gave off such a nice atmosphere. The food came out hot, fresh, and so delicious! Our sever was such a delightful soul and really made our visit amazing! Chatting with her was one of the best parts of our visit! The owner also is so talented in and out of the kitchen, definitely runs the business well! They have so many food and drink options as well! Overall, I could not say more great things about this place! Will definitely be coming back again! 12/10 experience love, love, love! thank you for a lovely time <3“
“Delicious food! Fantastic service! We had the buffet lunch. It was so delicious! Love the raita, lentils, chicken tiki Marsala. Desert was especially wonderful. Loved the rice pudding as it was delicious, sweet, and beautifully floral. More people need to try it out“
“A Symphony of Spices at Shaan Indian CuisineFrom the moment we stepped into Shaan, the aromas of authentic Indian cuisine promised a feast for our senses. The highlight of our meal was undoubtedly the Chicken Tikka Masala, which was a masterful blend of rich, creamy tomato sauce and perfectly tender chicken, each bite bursting with a depth of flavor that only the most carefully crafted dishes can achieve. My wife’s Sampler Platter was a delightful journey through the diverse landscape of Indian flavors, featuring an array of appetizers that were both intriguing and satisfying. Each component was a testament to the chef’s expertise in balancing spices and textures. The Garlic Naan deserves a special mention. Fresh from the oven, its warm, pillowy softness paired with a subtle hint of garlic was the perfect companion to our main courses. It was the kind of bread that you hope will keep coming to the table until you reluctantly admit you’ve had enough. In summary, Shaan delivered an exceptional dining experience that showcased the best of Indian cuisine. We left with our taste buds still dancing from the flavorful and well-seasoned dishes we had the pleasure of enjoying. We’ll certainly be back, and we recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a truly memorable meal.“
“This place is unbelievably good and the owner is very nice. They have a great relationship with the Common Beer Company next door. You can order a beer and bring it over to MKK but don’t skip on the Mango Lassi either… do both! I would selfishly like to keep this hidden gem hidden but it’s too good to not give it a glowing review. Bravo.“
“So this Indian restaurant has had such amazing food the entire time it’s been open. My daughter and I have been coming here since they opened and have never been disappointed. The Lamb Saag is amazing!! If you love Indian Food and are in the area then stop in here and you won’t be disappointed!!!Very clean dining room and EXTREMELY friendly and courteous staff.Parking: Plenty of parking! Parking lot is huge.Kid-friendliness: My youngest daughter loves coming here with me. It is only her and I that like Indian food in our household so this is a great place to get our fix of it!“
“Spicy South Indian food. Dosa, idli, and vada were all delicious. Rasam, chutneys and sambar are spicy!! We also had dal and rice which was just like home made. The staff were very friendly. If I lived in Cincinnati I would be a regular.Vegetarian options: I think everything is vegetarian, if not, meat is rare on the menu and vegetarians can have a huge selection“
“I just went here with my family and can seriously say this is the best Indian food I’ve ever had. I just got back from NYC and had Indian there but seriously this place is fantastic. The owners are very sweet and really put their love into the food. I will be going back!!“
“If you're looking for a quick Indian buffet for lunch in the Madisonville/Oakley area, this is a place to go. I was neither thrilled nor underwhelmed. The place was clean, the food was fresh and hot while I was there and the staff were friendly. My favorite dish on the buffet is the saag paneer! They also have the little bowl with extra cayenne pepper that's not shown in my photos.“
“Really good food. A breath of fresh air ?️. Let’s be honest, Fairfield doesn’t have a lot to offer when it comes to quality restaurants…. ( we are the land of franchised fast food ?) Thi is one of the best Iv had in a while. Sadly Iv lived here for 10 years and finally gave it a shot and didn’t know what we were missing. We will be back for lunch and dinner and with the kids.Service was top notch too and the place is really clean as you’d expect.P.s. the masala tea ☕️ was amazing.“
“Upon recommendation of this place in Silverton, ordered carryout of Chicken Tikka Masala and Naan. The food was delicious, but a tad overpriced. The place still states dine-in as an option (in which case the price would be understandable) and they are certainly equipped for it with booth seating and nice decor but the only business was a steady stream of take away orders. If that is their model moving forward they should consider a smaller space and pass along operational savings to the customer. In any case, will return and look forward to trying a lamb dish and the garlic Naan.“
“Food was excellent. Right blend of flavor and spices. Service was nice. Staff was polite and friendly. Location: It was little hard to find. Google maps took us to the hotel next to the restaurant. It is in a unique spot next to the hotel (little bit uphill). It is not located in a strip mall.“
“Excellent food here, every time! We had the paneer butter masala, malai kofta, bitter chicken, chicken 55, nan, and chat. Everything was authentic and delicious. Very friendly service, clean restaurant, and enjoyable conversation with our server Ragu. We will be back!Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly and menu has a mix of Indian specialties for kids, also some chicken options similar to chicken tenders.Wheelchair accessibility: Handicap spaces directly in front of restaurant. Restaurant is one floor with no stairs required to reach the door or restrooms. Booth tables throughout, but tables with removable chairs available in center of restaurant. Restaurant is spacious.“
“Aangan Sweets & Catering is a culinary treasure trove for anyone with a sweet tooth or a love for authentic Indian cuisine. Their sweets are heavenly, offering a perfect blend of traditional flavors and modern creativity. Whether it's the melt-in-your-mouth Gulab Jamun or the rich and creamy Barfi, each bite is a delight. Additionally, their catering services are top-notch, providing flavorful dishes that are sure to impress at any event. The staff is friendly and accommodating, ensuring a pleasant experience from start to finish. If you're in search of delectable sweets or mouthwatering Indian dishes, look no further than Aangan Sweets & Catering. Highly recommended!“
“My wife and I had a wonderful time here. All of the food was flavorful, spicy, and large portions. The naan was out of this world. Service was also awesome and our waiter offered us a free sample of one of the samosas just because he was excited for us to try it. Would definitely recommend and will be returning.“
“Edit: There is a reason this restaurant is still around for as long as it has been, the food is incredible, the service is top notch, and the people treat you like family. I moved away from the area but was in town this past weekend and made sure to order take out to bring home. My family was so excited! Food was outstanding just like we remembered and got plenty for leftovers the next day. I need to make more trips here. Kashmiri nan and Curry Chicken are to die for!!!The best service and food in the area. Great friendly staff and out of this world food. Kashmir nan is incredible!!!!“
“Let's get the negative out of the way first. If you're sensitive to capsaicin - Hamro cooks with a lot of it, and there isn't much in the way of ventilation. I'm ashamed to say that it seems I can't "hang" - my wife and buddy were unaffected, but I had to run outside hacking and coughing 20 minutes into our lunch. -1 star.OK, so obviously my math seems off, but listen. The Nepalese food at Hamro is easily 6/5 stars. Yes, I know that seems reductive and cliched, but even with inflamed lungs, I just couldn't bear to give this place anything less than 5/5. The saag paneer is creamier, silkier, and richer than a typical punjabi Indian restaurant's - different and just as delicious. The chicken tikka is tender, saucy, and thick. But the real showstopper were the momos. The chili fried momo ghar dumplings at Hamro are the best I've had anywhere. They convert Hamro from an obscure local food joint to a Cincinnati culinary destination. If you like dumplings, and you like spicy, do it. Drive your lazy bum up I-75. Your bum (and lungs) may regret it later, but you won't.“
“The food was really good! It's definitely a cozy fit with the group I went with but we all enjoyed the food and variety of flavors. It's also awesome that you can choose the level of spiciness. As someone who love spice, it's a great boon to the experience.“
“Very enjoyable food, and very polite service. Danewad, Mr Kamal. The vegetable mango is good but be warned that it is fermented, so this curry is a bit sour and doesn't taste like fresh, sweet mango or even under-ripe mango. The basmati rice was cooked to perfection. The Lentil (dal) soup was delicate and enjoyable.I also had aloo (potato) paratha (baked wheat flatbread). The crushed potatoes were very mildly flavored with spices that I could smell but not taste because it was served late and the vegetable mango was, sadly, strong enough to completely block the flavor of the spices in the aloo. If you order this, aloo samosa or another with mildly spiced potatoes, make sure to eat this first or dip it in sauce.Public, 2-hr parking is to the side, and their parking is in the rear, adequate for the small size of this restaurant.Vegetarian options: Some items can have coconut milk substituted for milk.Dietary restrictions: LactoseParking: Public, 2-hr parking is to the side, and their parking is in the rear, adequate for the small size of this restaurant.“
“Absolutely loved the Chicken Tikka Masala at this local Indian gem! The Chicken was tender (thin sliced, not large chunks) and cooked perfectly, covered in a creamy, rich tomato-based sauce full of spicesThe balance of flavors was spot on - level 3 was spicy but with just enough kick to keep it interesting. The basmati rice was fluffy with buttery garlic nan on the side that was perfect for scooping up the sauce. If you're ever on UC's campus you must stop in and try!“
“I ordered the Chicken Makhani at a level 4 spice. Also ordered the Naan bread stuffed with cheese. Came out very quickly and was hot. Tasted amazing, really loved dipping the bread into the sauce. The entree came with a side of rice too. I think the portions are solid, in fact if you wanted to share with another person you definitely could. Service was good, all the employees were very nice and our waitress made sure we had water and such. Overall this is a very solid Indian restaurant and I would certainly recommend it to anyone looking for Indian in this area.Parking: Parking behind restaurant.“
“This place was awesome! We don't live in the cinci area but we were here visiting and really wanted a buffet, Kanak was the last buffet standing in town after covid! Food was great, nothing spicy so perfect all ages. Very tasty food and very nice staff :) thank you for the great food!“
“Great little Indian restaurant in a tiny shopping strip, so unexpected . I've been here a few times and food is consistently delicious with a very attentive staff. We got chicken Tikka Masala ( chicken here is shredded instead of whole chunks ) Aloo Gobi, Dal Makini and Saag Paneer with Kasmiri Naan and garlic Naan. The decor needs updating ( wall paper is clearly from bygone days and not congruent with an Indian restaurant ) but it's ok. I meet my neices there so it's all about the yummy food and good conversation. If you like Indian food than here's your new spot!“
“The food is amazing. There is so much to choose from on the menu. Love Arvinds special dum Biryani, that is my favorite. Also love Hyderabadi dum Biryani, chicken tikka masala, butter chicken chili chicken, chicken 365, mirch pakora, onion samosas. Staff is very friendly and very helpful.“
“Ordered delivery via Uber Eats. The food was amazing! I love Indian food and try every place I can and this is one of the best! I got the. Chicken Tikka Masala, Garlic Naan, Mango Juice & Gulab Jaman for dessert. I chose spice level 3 and it was perfect. Enough heat to bring just a little sweat to my brow and TONS of flavor! The rice was fluffy and fragrant with cumin and the naan was absolutely perfect!! The mango juice was sweet without being overly sweet and topped off the dinner perfectly. If you live Indian food, you MUST try this place.“
“After 4 years of taste disappointments, we bravely tackled their buffet lunch. Why, you ask ? Thanks to our friends' push, we took the plunge. Not exactly a food wonderland, but hey, it was decent enough. The meat played it cool—fresh and delightful. The fish was swimmingly tasty, and the Hyderabad style chicken dum biryani had us doing a happy dance. While each dish had its merits, a sprinkle more of the right seasoning and spice could have elevated the taste to a whole new level. It's like they were hinting at greatness but holding back a bit – the seasoning's version of playing hard to get! Now, let's talk desserts. Shahi tukda was the superstar. However, they might want to gather the sweet troops and rethink the dessert lineup. On the brighter side, the curd rice was a fresh, tasty surprise.Ambiance, oh dear ambiance! It could use a splash of color and some serious decoration therapy to make it as inviting as your grandma's kitchen. Staff members were sweethearts, providing service that even Cupid would be proud of. Speaking of love, a bit of TLC for the ambiance and the staff wouldn't hurt. The price for the food? Well, it didn't break the bank, but it could do with a bit of haggling. All in all, dining here is like a rollercoaster – some ups, some downs, but in the end, you're still craving that next ride.“
“I was out and about about and my pregnant wife sent me a text: “I want a gyro, Indian food and Chinese food all at once”Suddenly I was on a quest to visit 3 separate restaurants in short amount of time to fulfill her request. I got it all done, but the reason why I am writing this review is because my wife and I were both blow away by the food from RAVIS! This was our first time and the food is excellent, just the right amount of spice in the Tikka Masala and the naan was also very good. I ordered ahead online via FoodHub and my order was ready when I arrived - no issues there. Restaurant was cozy and the staff was very pleasant. Can’t wait to try this place again!“
“We discovered this place accidentally while driving around and boy it was worth the visit. The momos, veggie platter and chow mein were delicious and perfect for this chilly weather. This place is highly recommended and deserves more love. Couldn’t take pics as we were quite occupied savoring the food.P.S. Will update with pics the next time we visit“
“From the moment I walked in I felt a great vibe! The gentleman answered my questions, I was seated with water while I waited for my take out order. I also learned they have a buffet Friday-Sunday for lunch. The food OMG fresh ? and super delicious! I cannot wait to visit again.“
“If you're craving delicious Indian food, you must try Swagath India House. I visited last friday and felt like a little piece of India right here! The staff is so friendly, and the food is amazing. You'll love every bite of their flavorful dishes. Whether you're a big fan of Indian food or trying it for the first time, this place is perfect for you. I would definitely recommend everyone to try the dishes here“
“Overall okay taste for Indian food. Felt kind of overhyped. Nothing great, few chats are better than other restaurants, that’s it.We tried Samosa Chat, Special Chaat and Papdi chaat, however only Samosa Chaat was good, rest had very ordinary taste. Can say 7/10 rating. Not a bad experience but not a great experience too. There is lot of room for improvement in taste however restaurant doesn’t bother to heed towards it.Ambience and sitting arrangements are very basic but can’t blame since it’s a limited space.“
