“On a whim, we decided to try this place because we were craving Indian cuisine. Omigosh, it was some of the best and most flavorful food we've tried in a long time...and I've definitely had my share from living overseas! The Chicken Tikka Masala was melt-in-your-mouth delicious with a mild creamy tomato-buttery sauce. The Samosas were like a meal themselves, and came with 3 mouth-watering sauces. The Naan was a must with our order and the Mango Lassi was the perfect blend of refreshing sweetness! We were thoroughly impressed with the flavors and the friendly staff here. “Delicious Indian food! I can’t believe this amazing gem has been open for seven years and it’s the first time my kids and I are trying it. It’s honestly one of the best Indian restaurants I’ve tried, and I’ve eaten Indian food all around the country. We ordered, which you can see in this photo, chicken, biryani, garlic naan, paneer Makani, and chicken tikka masala. This is our new go to Indian restaurant.“
“If you're looking for a quick Indian buffet for lunch in the Madisonville/Oakley area, this is a place to go. I was neither thrilled nor underwhelmed. The place was clean, the food was fresh and hot while I was there and the staff were friendly. My favorite dish on the buffet is the saag paneer! They also have the little bowl with extra cayenne pepper that's not shown in my photos.“

“Upon recommendation of this place in Silverton, ordered carryout of Chicken Tikka Masala and Naan. The food was delicious, but a tad overpriced. The place still states dine-in as an option (in which case the price would be understandable) and they are certainly equipped for it with booth seating and nice decor but the only business was a steady stream of take away orders. If that is their model moving forward they should consider a smaller space and pass along operational savings to the customer. In any case, will return and look forward to trying a lamb dish and the garlic Naan.“
“Let's get the negative out of the way first. If you're sensitive to capsaicin - Hamro cooks with a lot of it, and there isn't much in the way of ventilation. I'm ashamed to say that it seems I can't "hang" - my wife and buddy were unaffected, but I had to run outside hacking and coughing 20 minutes into our lunch. -1 star.OK, so obviously my math seems off, but listen. The Nepalese food at Hamro is easily 6/5 stars. Yes, I know that seems reductive and cliched, but even with inflamed lungs, I just couldn't bear to give this place anything less than 5/5. The saag paneer is creamier, silkier, and richer than a typical punjabi Indian restaurant's - different and just as delicious. The chicken tikka is tender, saucy, and thick. But the real showstopper were the momos. The chili fried momo ghar dumplings at Hamro are the best I've had anywhere. They convert Hamro from an obscure local food joint to a Cincinnati culinary destination. If you like dumplings, and you like spicy, do it. Drive your lazy bum up I-75. Your bum (and lungs) may regret it later, but you won't.“
“The food was really good! It's definitely a cozy fit with the group I went with but we all enjoyed the food and variety of flavors. It's also awesome that you can choose the level of spiciness. As someone who love spice, it's a great boon to the experience.“

However, the somasa was the worst I’ve ever had, and it’s not even close. Not sure why that was so off-the-mark when everything else was really tasty. The crushed potatoes were very mildly flavored with spices that I could smell but not taste because it was served late and the vegetable mango was, sadly, strong enough to completely block the flavor of the spices in the aloo. “I ordered the Chicken Makhani at a level 4 spice. Also ordered the Naan bread stuffed with cheese. Came out very quickly and was hot. Tasted amazing, really loved dipping the bread into the sauce. The entree came with a side of rice too. I think the portions are solid, in fact if you wanted to share with another person you definitely could. Service was good, all the employees were very nice and our waitress made sure we had water and such. “Great little Indian restaurant in a tiny shopping strip, so unexpected . I've been here a few times and food is consistently delicious with a very attentive staff. We got chicken Tikka Masala ( chicken here is shredded instead of whole chunks ) Aloo Gobi, Dal Makini and Saag Paneer with Kasmiri Naan and garlic Naan.The decor needs updating ( wall paper is clearly from bygone days and not congruent with an Indian restaurant ) but it's ok. I meet my neices there so it's all about the yummy food and good conversation. If you like Indian food than here's your new spot!“

Chicken Tikka Masala, Garlic Naan, Mango Juice & Gulab Jaman for dessert. I chose spice level 3 and it was perfect. Enough heat to bring just a little sweat to my brow and TONS of flavor!
