“Hop Brother Brewing in North Ridgeville was a great stop for dinner! We sat at the bar and the service was fantastic. Our bartender came back frequently to check up on us, also every employee who walked by us asked if we needed anything also!The food hit the spot! We started with the Handmade Mozzarella Sticks and they were huge! Then we both got a Burger with truffle fries that was cooked great overall. The service was excellent, attentive and friendly. They also let me sample the chicken paprikas sauce, which is really good!! However, we decided we wanted burgers and onion rings for lunch. My friend had the Sammy Say burger that was comparable to an OH BOY burger (if you're from around here you probably know what that is) and she said it was really good. I had the mushroom swiss burger and I have to say, it was one of THE BEST MUSHROOM SWISS BURGERS I'VE EVER HAD!! The onion rings were also fantastic!! The atmosphere was relaxing and laid back, the other patrons were all friendly and personable as well.. Never went back there again. Back to Brass & Bronze we had the tacos the 1st night amazing. We went back the second night the kitchen had just closed so we had a drink then one of the owners came over and said I know how to make pizza I can make you pizza. So that is what we had for our 2nd night s dinner. We went back the next day for the eclipse for lunch about 1 again amazing. We meet the President of the city Council Joel Arredondo and his wife they sat outside with us and watched the eclipse. Again very welcoming, they had their daughter’s wedding at this restaurant. “I have been enjoying Rosie's pizza since I was growing up in Lorain in 80s and 90s. Now I live a few hundred miles away but I make it a point to get some Rosie's whenever I'm in town visiting family. The only thing about Rosie's that ever disappoints is where they are closed. It's my all time favorite pizza. Their recipe is so unique but also delicious and consistent. It's hard to describe it actually. You just have to try it. I always get one pie with extra cheese and another with extra cheese and double pepperoni. So glad they've kept it going all these years. Thank you Rosie's!!“

“Four stars for now, have to go back for a second visit, and I definitely will. I had the traditional gyro with fries and both were very good. Large quantity of ingredients on the gyro, had to use a fork about halfway through, which I try not to do! Also got the falafel and that was very tasty as well. My wife got the blackened grouper gyro and was happy with the choice. I plan on going back for grape leaves, hummus, and maybe a different choice of gyro or a flatbread pizza. They have a pretty decent selection of items. It is take out only and they seemed pretty busy on Friday night.“

The wings are the 5 star breaker. Sold by the 1/2 pound, this itself is deceiving, especially when you find out that that 1/2 pound of wings you bought are just 4 wings. I don't think anyone paying their wing prices expect only 4 wings. For the price, I'll pass on these. They really should sell by the half dozen for the price they charge for 4.“

“Pizza was pretty good except it was extremely salty. It felt as if my blood pressure was rising with every bite. Crust was good with no edge. Usually I toss the crust on other pizza. I'm not a fan of the extremely large pepperoni, I thought it was salami at first sight. I believe that is the source of the salt overload. I would love to see them use the cup and char style which is spicy and maybe 1 inch in diameter. This is the kind of pepperoni the pizza joints in Buffalo, N.Y. uses. Ezzo Sausage Co. out of Columbus, Ohio usually supplies the cup and char. I hope your establishment gives it a go sometime! Thanks and we'll be back again!“

“I got the prime rip dip sandwich and home made mashed potatoes as a side.The sandwich was excellent and I could tell all the ingredients were made fresh. The bread was out of the bakery fresh and the mushrooms/onions were hand cut not out of a can. The garlic mashed potatoes were REAL homemade mashed potatoes and the gravy was delicious. “I ordered two pizzas from Angelina's for my first time. One was a garlic butter based pizza with some veggies. It was tasty and perfectly cooked. I also ordered a take-n-bake red pizza with pepperoni. I think the sauce is a bit sweet for my taste and the pepperoni were nothing too special. But for both pizzas, the crust was the show stopper. “Fran's (formerly Yala's Pizza) is a Lorain institution. You can order pickup and go inside to grab it or go through the drive-thru. There are different options of pizza. It seems they have updated, and you can order through Door Dash delivery or pickup, which is nice. The customer service was good, and the pizza is always cheesy delicious. If you want Frans pizza, you have to say it because they serve Eliseo's pizza as well.“

The crust got better as I neared the edge. It also had a crispiness every other pizza up here lacked. The sauce was tart but had a slight sweetness that lent balance to the slice. They didn't skimp on the cheese which was chewy goodness. All in all, I think we found our pizza go-to place.
