“The food is really good. I am a great cook, so I expect food as good as mine. The turkey, gravy and real mashed potatoes are really good. Or, you can get roast beef instead. The ground beef in their double cheeseburgs is soooo tasty. I saved the best for last. They have home made onion rings to die for. You will have to go early, as they close at 3. I think every employee came up to us throughout our dinner to greet us, ask if we needed anything, cleared plates, filled our cups, etc. Also, our server was very knowledgeable about what was and was not gluten free on their menu. “So I'll start by saying that I went here probably 10yrs ago and it wasn't great.. Recently a friend and I decided to give it another shot, and I'm glad we did!! The service was excellent, attentive and friendly. They also let me sample the chicken paprikas sauce, which is really good!! However, we decided we wanted burgers and onion rings for lunch. My friend had the Sammy Say burger that was comparable to an OH BOY burger (if you're from around here you probably know what that is) and she said it was really good. I had the mushroom swiss burger and I have to say, it was one of THE BEST MUSHROOM SWISS BURGERS I'VE EVER HAD!! The onion rings were also fantastic!! The atmosphere was relaxing and laid back, the other patrons were all friendly and personable as well.. “I was in the area and wanted to try a restaurant for breakfast. The first thing I noticed was how clean and bright this place was. There was no wait when I arrived and I was greeted immediately. I was seated and looked at the menu. There were so many good options, and I decided on the lemon pound cake French toast. It was complete with an infused whipped cream and fresh strawberries and blackberries on it. I had the option of baked bacon or homemade sausage. I couldn't decide, so my server suggested one of each. The food was so delicious. I could taste the herbs in the sausage. The bacon was baked to perfection, and I liked the fruit. The egg was fine. Unfortunately, my server let me know that my dish was being discontinued next week. I guess that means I need to return and pick a new favorite.“

It is a small filet and shrimp with asparagus and potatoes. The happy hour portion is perfect for me. If you are a big eater you can order two of them. At $14 apiece it is still a great value! The atmosphere is older adults and the inside is cozy. Outside, festive lights create a relaxed and carefree summer feeling. In the summer they have live bands outside and dancing. On occasion there may be an acoustic type singer inside creating a pleasant dining experience. There is plenty of free parking!I gave service lower rating only because the bartender is not very friendly. I have been there several times for happy hour and she rarely smiles and made me feel like I was an inconvenience. One time, when she waited on me she said “ You only have minutes to put your Happy Hour order in”.
