“It was my first visit here and I have to say, it was the best omelet I've had since 2010. The service was incredible and the prep/food was amazing. My sever brought me everything I needed for my meal without me even having to ask. Very attentive staff that will make you feel right at home. Very affordable and worth every penny. “Probably one of the best meals we’ve had in a while. Very large portions. Quality food. We got divorced eggs and the VIP. Added cheese to the home fries (similar to a hash brown or fried potatoes) and a little avocado.We were only passing through Toledo and wanted a local diner. This place IMPRESSED. Friendly service, delicious food down to the thick toast.We highly recommend and would revisit if we are ever here again.“

“Was doing a little Google research about Ohio's best restaurants and stumbled across Schmucker's. Was going to a Bengals game and decided to make a detour on the way down from Canada. Shmucker's is everything I expected and more. Amazing retro diner atmosphere that is authentic and original. Almost like walking back in time. It was packed when we arrived just after 1pm but we were able to get a seat at the bar which would have been my choice anyway. They have old school stools that really makes you feel the diner experience.I ordered a hot dog and a burger with chips. The g.f. ordered the burger with fries. Everything was amazing, great dinner homestyle smash burger which paired perfectly with the hot dog. Had a few of the g.f.'s fries. They were fresh cut and delicious.Best part about the meal was the pie (which is what they are famous for). I ordered the Buckeye pie which was amazing. Great crust, custard and cream topping plus the Buckeyes finishing it off. Had a bit of the g.f.'s banana cream pie and it was great too. Almost ordered a second slice.Can wait to head back sometime just wish it wasn't 5 hours away from Canada.“

“I eat breakfast and lunch here. The food portion is great, more than plenty. The quality of the food is very good. They are quick to take your order and get your food prepared. One of my go to restaurants! Corn beef hash and eggs, eggs benedict is fantastic and the grilled chicken sandwich with fries...all very good.“
