This was my first time here and I was impressed. I love trying local businesses and I was pleased with this one. Even though they were really busy our service was fast, and drinks were good. I also ordered a 1/2 pound of chicken chunks with BBQ and I could tell that they were extremely fresh, and they tasted great. They were also reasonably priced and came out quickly despite it being busy.
This bar is definitely for those who want to sit down in a relatively quiet bar and have a beer and conversation. It's laid back, and feels local. They have 2 pool tables and occasional ive music.

We went to Sodbusters on a Wednesday evening (7:30) to hear The Chefs of Dixieland, Ragtime Rick Grafing's band. We expected it to be good music, but it was more. It was an experience, not a performance. We were totally immersed. We felt absolutely transported into another era. At one point, the trombonist sauntered through the cafe as he played ---so fun.
