Food is good, service ok. Nice atmosphere. We've been there about 4 times. This time, I had a steak and my wife had what they called Chicken Marsala. Honestly, not like any Marsala we've ever had. Everything was good, not great. Unfortunately, nothing stood out. In my mind, it's overpriced for what it is and nothing makes us want to go back. We would if invited, just not a place we'd say "Hey,let's go to Plat8".
I had the most unusual experience. I've never actually had a situation like this before. It was something almost out of a movie, a romcom I'd imagine. I guess that made me John Cusack or Jack Black?My friends made a reservation and had the screen shot of it as proof even, but when we got there they didn't have our reservation or even know about it. I used to come in for the entertainment on Saturday mornings but I think they got rid of that. It's only a few seconds away from my house but I think I'm going to be traveling elsewhere. The food is just okay, the atmosphere is okay, I think they need to do something different.
