“Went in to celebrate my wife's birthday. The staff who helped us knew it was her bday, it was mentioned 3-4 times which was cool! Happy hour before dinner was nice, drinks were very good. Bar staff was kind. Dinner service was great, food was delicious. Spent 2.5 hours there or so and enjoyed my evening with the wife!“

“We went in for our anniversary dinner as we heard that their sushi is amazing. Its not the place to go, if you want to have a quiet dinner, with some romatic music but it is lively and happening. It has very nice view, as its name suggests. And the service is top class. Our waitress did a wonderful job in attending to our needs. They accomodated us really well and I would most definately go back to try rest of the food and drinks soon. Sure, I'd love to be enjoying this in Kyoto or at the fish market in Hakodate, but to find this level of quality on the eastern fringes of the American Midwest? Akai Hana scores big. I recommend the Asian peach cocktail in particular.While our waitress was very kind, she waited to take our order until the two alcoholic beverages we ordered came to our table, but because it took a while to get our drinks, it meant waiting even longer for our food. I have tried an obnoxious amount of their rolls and have only not fallen completely in love with one of them (sorry to the volcano roll)It does often feel as though they are understaffed. I have been here a few times where I see my waiter working non-stop and at a fast pace and I still feel as though I get subpar service. “This cute little restaurant ( take out only?) is in the Japan market place. I walked in- the staff was very sweet, and helpful. She helped me choosing the sushi rolls to order. I got two rolls for our dinner. Both the sushi rolls were fresh, tasty and with top ingredients. They took almost 25 minutes to get the stuff ready. I was waiting outside and once done she called me and I picked up. Super easy! I don’t mind waiting even longer if the food is freshly made, with all things fresh inside. Highly recommended!“
“This is definitely a step above most Chinese restaurants. It has sushi Thai and Chinese. My dish samba chicken was pretty awesome. Huge variety of vegetables all done perfectly mushrooms chicken sauce It was very nice. The wonton soup however was exceptional and different. Wonton soup was tasty and the wontons were small and delicate very nice. My avocado salad came with plenty of avocado and a very pleasant dressing. This is a must go again I wish I had discovered this location earlier.“

We've eaten here a handful of times in the past, and the food never disappoints. The space is small, but the food is big on taste and quality. I started with the cucumber and carrot salad, followed by a Columbus Roll and Pacific Rim Roll (sushi rolls). My partner asked about gluten free selections, and the server brought out an actual gluten free menu. The food was outstanding, as was the service. I had asked for Green tea but should have stayed with their regular tea since mine was a bit weak. My fried rice was cold but they reheated it gracefully. The new waitress had forgotten my Crab Rangoon so they were cold but I let it go. It still tasted OK with the sauce added. “It’s the best Japanese hibachi I’ve had in Columbus. Even better than the one downtown. I love it! Every time I want fresh hibachi I go to this one. The chefs are amazing and so nice and Friendly. They are very talented and entertaining and every time the food is cooked amazing. The waitress are usually very nice and timely. It’s clean and the inside of the resteraunt is very cool it looks like you are outside in Japan.Kid-friendliness: The kids love to see the fire! And laugh every time the little boy pees on the fire haha but it’s just a fake spray bottle with water. They have high chairs and the chefs always make the kids feel special and talk to them and smile with them. It’s very sweet. We love coming here as a family.
