“This place is so cute. Presentation is immaculate and the food is delicious! We will be back! I had the edemamme Dinner Set C which was amazing.Vegetarian options: There is so much on the menu for vegetarians.Dietary restrictions: I have a garlic / onion sensitivity they were able to accommodate.Parking: Large parking lot.Kid-friendliness: Casual eating, kids welcome.Wheelchair accessibility: Large space accommodation for wheelchairs.“
“I enjoyed everything about this place. The service was BOMB! The Twins are very entertaining and attentive to the needs of the business!! Great folks, thanks very much for your Service to our country! It's always great to see positive veterans!!“
“So I would say the food is good but not amazing. The service was very slow. We had a party of seven and tried lots of stuff. We started with the surf and turf sushi roll (very good) and a couple of the cheesy breads (good). The roasted Chicken salad was great. The salmon entree was very good but pick a different side dish than the couscous. The Mexican street corn is A+ good. I had the French dip and it was just ok, I would never order it again. I ordered the burger last week on DoorDash and it was phenomenal so I'm guessing it would be even better at the restaurant. The girls had sushi rolls which were mostly good. Coconut one was great. The Hudson roll one my wife did not like. Wine choices are ok by the glass, decent for a bottle but nothing of note. So I'm guessing we will go back for the variety for the crowd we take (our kids and their friends) and I'm guessing I'll get the burger next time. Brownie desert was good not great. Sorry no pics, I was having fun instead.“
“Amazing! Northwest Columbus may be the most diverse Asian paradise that exists in the United States. We have a larger variety of Asian food than I've seen in any large city in the country. This place is spectacular! First off, the food is absolutely perfect and delicious. On top of that, the owner and the staff couldn't be kinder. There are dozens of Asian restaurants in the area, but there is no place that even compares. They take so much pride in what they offer. It's truely like going to your grandparents house and having a home cooked meal.“
“Think you have to go to California for authentic Japanese? While Akai Hana has "Americanized" sushi etc on the menu, they also do excellent sashimi dishes and tempura as good as anyone. Sure, I'd love to be enjoying this in Kyoto or at the fish market in Hakodate, but to find this level of quality on the eastern fringes of the American Midwest? Akai Hana scores big. Great staff at the sashimi counter, so definitely try to get a seat there.Low carb? Keto? Carnivore? Paleo? Akai Hana has choices and choices to suit your personal nutritional style!!Dietary restrictions: Low carb friendlyKeto friendlyCarnivore friendlyPaleo friendlyParking: Parking available on both sides - the Japanese market side and the Kenny Center side.“
“Our group of 5 had a great time! Our table was not ready at our reservation time and we ended up waiting about 30 minutes past our rez time. The owner was so apologetic and comped us a round of drinks and some apps while we waited. Very thoughtful and beyond what we would have expected. The service was very good. Food was great and everyone in our group left with full and happy bellies. 100% recommend.“
“Amazing.... I can't rave enough about this food. I thought about it for the rest of the day. Going back next week to get more. The service was quick and helpful. It is in a grocery store, so maybe not a date night place, but so so good.“
“Delicious as always!Dietary restrictions: Delicious as always, but — unlike the main menu — the seasonal items were not marked for dietary restrictions, and the staff were going to need to make people wait to read the ingredient lists. So, I just got a tried-and-true, non-seasonal custom roll, which was quite nice, of course!“
