We travel over 100 miles for there fish and chips at Olde BagCame down to upper Arlington to try the new BagMy wife and I both had the Fish and Chip!To say we were disappointed is an understatement! It was at best poor and was so totally disappointing. We will hope the other Bags haven’t adopted the new ultra thin poorly prepared F&C’s

Well don’t order the spicy chicken quesadilla. It’s not spicy and zero cheese on it.Fish was ok a bit greasy, no tartar sauce, and coleslaw. After asking if that’s what I would like. The manhattan was good very very disappointing. Was so excited to get one here. The food is not as good as the other ones.

I’m giving a somewhat good review because of Thomas the manager along with good food. I don’t want 1 waiters mistake to ruin the restaurant. We arrived about 8:20 and the food was great! Service was mediocre but acceptable. After we ate and watched the end of a Buckeye basketball game, paid our tab and tipped well and we’re finishing our conversation along with our beverages, our server came to us at 9:36 interrupted and informed us the establishment closed at 9:00 and they had been more then accommodating to us and we needed to leave.I’ve been in a few places in my time and always try to be respectful of the peoples time but this was out of line especially the short time we had been there and there were still people at the bar.Thomas did a great job handling my complaint and I will go back and hopefully have a server that’s more professional.

Have only been once since they moved from Tremont but really enjoyed it. Fried mushrooms were perfectly done, fresh and plentiful. My lobster rolls (you get two), were a bit mushy and should be served with clear, hot butter instead of the yellow squirt on stuff that was gross. The roll itself was perfectly toasted and delicious. Mu husband had the all you can eat shrimp and fries special. He tried all 3 shrimp preparations and really liked the fried and the blackened shrimp. The grilled shrimp was very bland and with no caramelization. We split a bread pudding which was very good. Our service was great! I would definitely go back! Oh, someone else mentioned how bright the dining area is. I agree! Dimmers should be installed!

New location is SO much better than the old one. I’ve always liked the food but the old location didn’t have many windows , was so dark and getting run down. This new location is a breath of fresh air. It’s a little tricky to find with the current construction but they have a huge parking garage real close. Fried pickles starter was awesome. Definitely will be visiting a look more frequently now!

Relocated from Tremont Center, this tried and true format is now at Kingsdale Center in the new cluster of buildings that include luxury senior living, the new UA rec center, and apartments.Like the other locations, there is the basic, hearty menu of fish & chips (outstanding), burgers, etc. Unlike the others, this new one is far from cozy and pub-like. It lacks wood, warmth and has a sterile feel. The biggest complaint is the lighting. It's like an operating room! The halogen or LED can lights are nuclear. The dining side is especially bright and annoying. This is odd, as the owners of this chain should know that warm, incandescent lighting sets a mood and makes food (and people) look better.Hopefully they will figure this out and install proper dimmers or lower wattage bulbs and make this a more enjoyable place to frequent. For now, bring sunglasses, or avoid, like I will.

A gem of a location, so close to the library. Devin, I believe, was our server, and despite the healthy crowd of lunch-goers, we had excellent service and food.

Twenty minute wait to be served. Only 2 waitresses, and both are rookies. Terrible service. Don't waste your time coming here. No one wants to help you.

French onion had 3 little chunks of onion....but let's be honest, you order French onion soup for the toasted croutons and cheese! Every body else's dinner was great. Fish n chips and Salmon dinner.

The Old Bag in downtown Worthington is a gem! I've been going there for years and always had really really good food! The service is wonderful. I'm particularly fond of Brenda who works 2 days a week and Raleigh who only works Saturdays. They're all good though. The atmosphere is always welcoming! It's nestled in downtown Worthington so you will find a great mix of friendly people there. I highly recommend The Old Bag.
