“THE BEST COFFEE SHOP EVER!!The staff is kind, prompt and on courteous. Great coffee is served in the most awesome atmosphere. They have kitchen tables and chairs of all sizes, plus living room couches and chairs. You feel like you are at home and NOT in a public place. The owners were very creative in implementing this concept for their shop. I am so blessed to have this shop near where I live. I recommend a drive out to visit this coffee shop as it would be worth the drive, PLUS you would love the cute little town of Valley City as it offers great restaurants and a wine shop. Very quaint and cute.“

“I came for the pizza and left with pizza and a dozen and a half of donuts. My friend and I were not gonna walk in but we were waiting for the pizza. Glad we did, these are some of the best donuts ever! Like I said I got a dozen and a half and every donut I have eaten has been fantastic! I am not one for the jelly filled donuts but these ones hit the spot and that blueberry donut, make sure you get one of those. You will love it your kids will love it, it will become a family tradition to come get these donuts if it isn’t already!“

“I first had the Grind from their Common Ground location. It quickly became my favorite place in town to visit for a cup of coffee. Love the coffee along with the atmosphere the owners created as they welcomed each customer in. It’s exciting to see their dream on a full scale with their 2nd location. The simplistic, modern, and clean design is consistent across both locations. Making for a welcoming and homey feel. Along with the addition of crepes at the 2nd location. I stop in here every chance I get!“

“Really nice, quaint cafe down Pearl Rd between Malleys and Aldi. Staff exceptionally kind and the drinks were fantastic. Really enjoyed the Oreo Milk Tea and Strawberry Sangria. Drinks come in very nice bags that keep them snug and secure for taking them with you! Wait was a tad longer than expected, but it is also the very first day and I have no doubt it'll get better. Will absolutely be back.“

“Glad they are here and thriving. Don’t hesitate to visit. Parking is abundant. I went mid morning and it was perfect atmosphere and staff were quick to serve but not as crazy as other coffee shops. I’d say that not having a drive thru is a good thing here. I’d come here any time of day to get my Java on. I had a latte which was just right and I stayed to drink and had a muffin and biscotti. I like that they have visual examples of what they can make up on the menu board instead of on the counter. That’s where my eyes go anyway when I’m deciding to order. I wish they had more pastry and savory options available - I guess that maybe it was because I came mid morning. It would be ideal if they could source more variety of pastries….any bakers in the area? Glad I drive this way and not that way to the not so Great Northern area or the Crockery Park with crazy parking. Enjoy here, I certainly did.“

“Was in town for my daughter's birthday and we got lucky finding a Grinch cake! And the right flavor too (funfetti). It's a little pricey compared to what I'm used to at bakeries near home, but it was worth it. My daughter, her friends and I loved it! ❤️“

“We drive from North Royalton just to get this delicious coffee (and the coated espresso bean on top ?). I wish there was a location closer to us! The service is always spectacular! I love that they have 2 pick up windows, and when it's really busy someone is taking your order with an iPad. It's very quick service. My son LOVES the fruit smoothies. I love that he can get one with a milk alternative because of his dairy allergy.“

“An eclectic cafe with friendly service and absolutely amazing crepes!! One of us had savory; one sweet. They are huge, and I thought no way I could finish it, but it was so delicious, I couldn't help myself. The latte was perfectly strong- not weak coffee like most places.“

“They have a great selection of coffee and teas. They will grind the beans for you or you can get whole bean for most of the coffee selection. The ladies are always very friendly and helpful. They do carry other items for purchase. “On behalf of my family, I wanted to leave a quick review that is not necessarily “food related” for what it’s worth. My father recently passed away, but every weekend he would stop into Great Scott’s Bakery and chat with Scott and Heather. When my dad became ill and was no longer able to get his weekend cinnamon croissants and other treats for the grandkids, he would send us. Scott and Heather would always ask how he was doing and send their best – their friendship was a simple one, but one my dad truly cherished. Both Scott and Heather paid their respects to my father during calling hours and it was modest gesture that went a long way in the eyes of my family. I stopped in for the first time a couple days ago to buy donuts for me and my coworkers and they were AMAZING!! Everyone I shared them with could not believe how delicious they were! “My wife and I were in the area and based on the reviews, decided to go there for lunch. I am always suspicious when a place is new and the reviews are so good. This many times is because family members and friends post 5 star reviews whether it is warranted or not. In this case the high reviews are earned! My wife got the California BLT panini with a house coffee and I got the Chicken Bacon Ranch panini with a cappuccino. Both sandwiches were excellent, the coffee and cappuccino were great as well. We also purchased aN XL cinnamon roll that was fantastic!!! The prices are extremely reasonable. You can actually get lunch for two there at an affordable price. The bonus was is the place is staffed with adults with developmental needs. The enthusiasm and pride that shows is second to none anywhere! We made good friends that day and we will be back often. In a side note, they were selling leaf lettuce at 2 large heads for $5 that are grown in their greenhouse. Organic, fresh and pesticide free!“

“Nothing beats a warm Krispy Kreme donut fresh out of the oven. Yum!A special shout out to the two girls working the counter on 2/17/24 at 5:30pm. These two definitely went above and beyond with their service. I was so pleased I asked where their tip jar was. Their reply was “we don’t have one”. I told them I wanted to leave them a tip to which they replied “we aren’t allowed to accept tips”.So unusual in this day and age where most places prominently display a tip jar at the register. And many credit card machines try to coerce you into tipping.While the Akron Krispy Kreme is closer to me I drive out of my way to come here. This place is so much cleaner & inviting. Plus the staff is much more helpful.?????“
