“I discovered this business on Instagram a couple weeks ago and I had no idea they were so close to me. I stopped in for the first time a couple days ago to buy donuts for me and my coworkers and they were AMAZING!! Everyone I shared them with could not believe how delicious they were! My all time favorite donut is a cream filled one, but, the one I had that day was the cookies and cream which did not have a filling and it was one of the best donuts I’ve ever had! The donut itself was so soft and so fresh. I cannot say enough good things about Kountry Dough and Jo. They are my new favorite donut shop!“

“Jennifer and Jenna were super fast and friendly! Love their peanut butter madness sundae! No reason for you to go to any other ice cream places with this place around! It’s a Grafton gem. They have delicious iced coffee and donuts as well.“

“It's McDonald's. You can't expect much but when you don't eat fast food often it actually feels like a treat. Problem I have is when you order something one thing off the menu and you ask for extra of something and the sticker showing extra pickle is taped to the bag and you open up your burger and it has two pickles that's regular pickles That's not extra.“

“Had the blended orange Creamsicle, strawberry cheesecake latte & iced Chai with lavender cold foam (yes, we're basic). These were all absolutely fantastic & full of flavor. Unlike other coffee shops, everything here tasted exactly like it is listed. If you order a brownie flavor drink, be prepared to get exactly that. Sounds simple, but some places can't nail it like the lucky penny does.“

“Glad they are here and thriving. Don’t hesitate to visit. Parking is abundant. I went mid morning and it was perfect atmosphere and staff were quick to serve but not as crazy as other coffee shops. I’d say that not having a drive thru is a good thing here. I’d come here any time of day to get my Java on. I had a latte which was just right and I stayed to drink and had a muffin and biscotti. I like that they have visual examples of what they can make up on the menu board instead of on the counter. That’s where my eyes go anyway when I’m deciding to order. I wish they had more pastry and savory options available - I guess that maybe it was because I came mid morning. It would be ideal if they could source more variety of pastries….any bakers in the area? Glad I drive this way and not that way to the not so Great Northern area or the Crockery Park with crazy parking. Enjoy here, I certainly did.“

“I absolutely LOVE this place!! I treated my husband to the sandwich called The California, he gave it RAVE reviews. He couldn't say enough nice things about it. He even wanted to give his compliments personally to the chef face to face tonight. The live music was wonderful watching I also want to highly compliment Autumn V. She is phenomenal!!!!“

“Food is phenomenal! The French toast and hash browns are to die for! You'll always see the owner walking around checking in on all her guests. Lot of times sitting and talking with them. One can tell she really likes to get to know everyone. She is very kind and attentive. Even the chef has come out and hand delivered food making sure everything is cooked to perfection. Coffee cups are always being refilled with fresh hot coffee. Restaurant is super clean, even the bathrooms were spotless. Very charming little restaurant nestled behind railroad tracks. Everything beautifully decorated with trains and wood benches and seats. Plenty of parking! I highly recommend this little gem. You won't be disappointed!!!!“

“Wow! This was an all around great experience. My almond milk latte was nicely foamed. The 1/2 amount of vanilla flavor was perfect. Our sausage, egg bagel was made to order- even including my request for vegan cheese on it. It was hot and tasty. My husband’s dark roast coffee was made fresh for him and is hot and powerful. “THE BEST COFFEE SHOP EVER!!The staff is kind, prompt and on courteous. Great coffee is served in the most awesome atmosphere. They have kitchen tables and chairs of all sizes, plus living room couches and chairs. You feel like you are at home and NOT in a public place. The owners were very creative in implementing this concept for their shop. I am so blessed to have this shop near where I live. I recommend a drive out to visit this coffee shop as it would be worth the drive, PLUS you would love the cute little town of Valley City as it offers great restaurants and a wine shop. Very quaint and cute.“
