“Very pleased to have a solid coffee shop in the area. Atmosphere is miles ahead of nearby competitors---so much so that I needn't really comment on it. The service was good, but not great. Baristas seemed a little disinterested but what can you do.One complaint: I got a dirty chai and they use a specific chai concentrate that I won't call out here (rhymes with either 'rain' or 'ore again'), but it is very easy to buy and can be made at home with relative ease. It is also super, sickly sweet. Owners, I am begging you: switch to something like Dona, Rishi, etc. Their chai concentrates have a much more balanced taste and are, frankly, just better in pretty much every way.“

“Was exploring the Dayton OH area and stopped into Pettibone for a matcha latte Service was fantastic, person behind the counter was pleasant and very helpful. Latte came out quickly and with a smile. Looking at their menu they have so many amazing sounding drinks, next time I'm in the area I'll definitely be going back. “I love the fact that I can go and get tasty donuts anytime of the day with this 24hr donut shop. The donuts are really good but for what ever reason on multiple occasions the female employees always have an attitude. I ignore it and just get what I went there for but it would be nice to be served with a more friendly attitude.“

“An absolute delight of a cafe. To start off, the ambiance and layout of the cafe was amazing. It was very cute and aesthetic with comfy couches, live plants, and a refreshing atmosphere. They also had the cat room sectioned off from the cafe, which allows for food safety and no risk of contamination on their drinks. The staff was incredibly friendly and forthcoming with the rules and guild lines for the cat room. I also adored their coffee. I ordered a dirty chai latte, half expecting the Starbucks chai syrup that every cafe seems to put into their chai lattes. Surprisingly though, their chai latte was delicious and clearly made with a legitimate chai leaf blend. And although I didn't order one, I appreciated that they had gluten free and vegan snack options, it was unexpected but very welcome. Now moving onto the cat room. It was an incredibly spacious room with many nooks and play areas for the kitties to spread out. The cats were very friendly and social which was a nice surprise. It was a very quiet room, and it didn't smell at all of litter the way many cat cafes did. All in all, I really enjoyed this location 10/10“

“I don't recall how I originally learned about Boosalis; I think it was on some award list of best bakeries perhaps? Whatever the reason, I had it on my list of places to try when I was in Dayton early last year, but I wasn't able to make it there that visit. This time around, I couldn't miss out and went in on a weekday morning. Inside, I was greeted by a number of customers sitting around, eating pastries, and sipping on coffee. The pastry case in front was fully stocked with some very delicious looking croissants and other delights. We had a tough time deciding what to get - we wanted to try everything, but we didn't have the stomach space! After pondering for a while, we made our decision. Chocolate Croissant ($3.65) - Two small chocolate batons are baked into this pastry at the bottom, as is tradition. They are not too sweet and add a very nice cocoa richness that works well with the croissant. The rest of the croissant is buttery with well laminated layers that meld together but are also fluffy. The top few layers are crispy and well browned. They flake off easily in buttery flecks. I found this croissant to be pretty cheap for a chocolate croissant from an artisan bakery and overall found this to be a solid chocolate croissant in general. (4/5) Kouign Amann ($2.85) - This kouign amann is pretty small - around 2 inches across. There's melted caramelized sugar surrounding the edges and in a layer on the bottom. Additional sweetness from pearl sugar is added right in the center of the pastry. The pastry is very well laminated, with distinct layers that peel off easily. The dough seems to be salted a bit and has a somewhat bitter flavor to it. It doesn't seem like the dough itself is sweetened at all, so the middle portion is buttery, but not sweet. it's not nearly as buttery as the chocolate croissant though and there's larger air pockets compared to the croissant. There's a good crunch on the outside from both the browned dough and the sugar on the outside. (4/5) I can see why Boosalis Baking and Cafe is popular. Both pastries we tried were solid and I can easily recommend the place if you're looking for something nice for breakfast or just a treat for yourself.“

Even though Dayton is the sixth most populous city and the state's fourth-largest metropolitan area, the vegan selections in Dayton are pretty slim, so having a coffee house that has great treats and drinks that a vegan can imbibe is very much appreciated.“

“A quaint little British-themed cafe in Oakwood with friendly service and a casual, relaxing ambiance. They only accept cash, check, and Venmo. My husband and I ordered the afternoon tea for 2 which included scones, eclairs, an almond based cake, a lemon curd tart, and assorted finger sandwiches. We chose English Breakfast tea among a large assortment of teas offered. The desserts were fantastic and lightly sweet (which we enjoyed!), the finger sandwiches were a little bland and dry. Overall, we loved supporting a small, family owned business and we would return if we are in the area again!“

“My kids and I just discovered this gem! It is aptly named because the lattes are truly EPIC! Seriously--the best lattes we've ever had! We tried the mudslide, Ohio, and salted caramel ones, and they popped with authentic, rich flavors and were artisan-crafted. “First time I went, it was really nice, milk tea was very tasty, but the 2nd time I went, the person sounded very unenthusiastic, the drinks looked strange (like they added a tiny bit of coffee in both cups then filled the rest with milk tea), and the top of one cup wasn’t put on properly and spilled a bunch of tea on my shirt.“

“Went to This Guy's Coffee Shop Sunday and found it to be very appealing. Purchased a Cup Cozy made by Rachel for a Blended Peanut Butter Drink (like a Frape). I had a Honey Hazelnut Latte and we bought chocolate chip expresso scones. The prices are excellent, the atmosphere cozy and relaxing. We can recommend This Guy's Coffee Shop in Springboro on St Rt 73.“

“So I love bigby and the workers at this location are so sweet. I have to say it though. Someone there colors on the coffee sleeves, and I understand that they probably think it’s cute. Which it would be if it didn’t come off haha. I’ve been trying to figure out how I ruined my white sweater today. It was covered in blue and I had no idea why until I saw my hand covered in blue ink. Couldn’t figure it out and finally someone pointed it out. So my sweater is covered in blue marker/sharpie/something. I’m not mad by any means but I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t super bummed. I had this happen before but luckily my clothes were dark so you couldn’t see it. So as sweet as it is (I think a child does it, maybe a workers child) I just wanted to give a fair warning and suggest that they maybe stop doing it or find something where the color wont leak. But the food is 10/10 haha! And again I want to clarify that the workers are really kind and I know they mean no harm.“

“I came by the other day to get my dog his last cup of whipped cream before we had to have him put to sleep. I had obviously been crying and they were super nice when I explained why I wanted caramel on it. The person working at he window stuck a donut hole in it and told me she as sorry. “I've always loved Dunkin', since I was a kid. A few times I've had the Snackin' bacon and its ridiculous!!!!! But just a fair warning, you will come back for more after that first bite. “If I'm being honest I used to frequent the downtown Dayton location and this location isn't comparable. That being said the atmosphere isn't bad but it's not a traditional relaxing coffee shop vibe. Beyond that the drinks are overall decent but my main issue is with the food menu if you can call it that. They have a really good vegetarian breakfast sandwich but you'll have to go in or drive through to get it. It isn't on any of the menus. I don't know what other food they offer or if they do as it's not online anywhere and I don't go in because as I said it's not my vibe.Vegetarian options: There's one vegetarian sandwich (not vegan, has eggs and dairy) but it is very good.Parking: Parking is located in the rear of the building.“
