“We love this place! We eat there about once a week. It's the only place I know that serves ham loaf and sweet potato casserole. The cinnamon swirl French toast is to die for!! I always get a good meal. The staff is friendly, it's casual, and they have the largest selection of pies around! Love it!!“
“Sourmugs or Skippers of the Bulldog and probably a couple of other names over the years, has been around for 30+ and has always served really good food in a casual, laid-back atmosphere while serving as the hub for the comings & goings of West Milton, Union Township and SW Miami County. If you want to know what is going on with Milton-Union Schools or the local Bulldog Team, this is the place to be!Food is simple but well done, the beer is cold and the conversations are always friendly, unless you're from Tipp, Oakwood, Brookville or God-forbid, Valley View. I especially recommend the Chili and the Pot Roast Sandwich! Pork Tenderloin is good, too, and the onion rings worth the calories! Service is always friendly but not fast. The Staff moves quickly, but this isn't a place where customers are in a rush, or want to be rushed. They do do carry-out, so if you want a great picnic, the West Milton Park overlooks the Stillwater River and is only a block away East, sitting on the river bluff. If you want some real adventure wander downtown from Sourmugs to Wertz's Hardware & 5 & Dime. You're never quite sure what treasures you can discover in there!“
“1st time there in Ohio, let alone Smokey Bones. But the atmosphere reminded me of a Buffalo Wild Wings. Good drinks and great food. Waitresses were on top of ur orders and nice friendly. If I lived in Ohio Smokey Bones, would differently be 1 of my favorite places to eat, watch a game, and have a few drinks!!“
“Stumbled across Agave & Rye while visiting the Dayton OH area. Was a very nice surprise! Atmosphere is super cool and unique, doesn't feel like you're in small town OH. The service was excellent, server did a great job! The food was good. The sticky cauliflower was fantastic! The Green Goddess was good, I thought it was a little dry but good flavor. If you're looking for something unique in the Troy area I highly recommend checking this place out“
“We found Home Sweet Home online while traveling in the area and decided to give it a try. i had the Frisco burger and it was cooked to perfection and tasted great. It was served with lots of great tasting crinkle fries. My wife had the pan seared cod with green beans. The cod tasted as close to fresh caught as she's had so far inland. The green beans were seasoned with ham and onions. Everything tasted fantastic!Ted was our waiter. He and the rest of the staff were really good and accommodating to us and the locals. The place was still really busy at 7 pm when we got there. Great sign of a great restaurant, staff and especially the chef! I definitely recommend it, and we'll be back!Parking: They're in a strip mall, there's car parking and more parking in the large lot to pull in any size trailer like we did. The large lot was for a old Kmart that was over a ways converted to a beautiful storage place, which looked closed and no cars at that time. I'd say pull in what you want.“
“I cannot say enough about this place! Everything they make is from SCRATCH. This family owned and operated restaurant sets itself apart with fantastic drink and plate options created by some of the most talented chefs the area. The atmosphere is peaceful... even romantic! ... it's obvious that every menu item comes together with thoughtful creativity. SO nice to see a local restaurant that delivers a unique experience EVERY time!“
“The food choices are always great as is the service and ambiance. I tried something new today, the pasta bolognese. It was the best pasta I think I've ever eaten. Just the right amount of great spices. It was delicious. I will get this same dish next time i visit“
“I ABSOLUTELY ADORE THIS RESTAURANT! They're a true community hub. When people come in they're met with a warm, friendly, invitation to sit anywhere. The food is wonderful, and then as you learn more about the owners you realize they truly love and support the community as a whole... along with OTHER restaurants! If you're passing through, or a local, you HAVE to go to the Brookville Grille.“
“This is a cool little diner in Darke Co Ohio. People come from all around the ajoining counties to have breakfast on weekends and that good ole fashion country cookin thru the week. I went to high school near-by and felt right at home. The food reminded of the kind of food that was so commom 40 years ago. The atmosphere is Country. St Rte 571 is one of the quiet roads in the farm belt, scenic and beautiful. Leaving I saw an American Eagle within a hunderd feet of the roadway in what had been a cornfield this past summer. The eagle was having fresh rabbit. I had just had the pancake with eggs, hash browns, and coffee, sausage all locally sourced and fresh from scratch. Everyone there is friendly. The service is great. And the experience leaves a wonderful memory.“
“Visit probably once a week. Generally friendly staff. Biggest complaint is the order is constantly wrong. They make it right, and don't argue, but when going through drive through it's annoying to either go in, or have to call and complain because it's wrong.“
“I come here fairly often. The service in the drive-through is consistently fast and I've never had anything missing from my order. In the dining room I've always gotten my food quickly and the servers are very friendly. I've yet to have a bad experience. Definitely one of the best Skylines I've been to.“
“Very good variety of some downhome style food. This is our dinner destination when we go into Dayton for evening entertainment. My husband loves everything he has eaten. The atmosphere is dated but is clean and is fairly priced. Waitstaff is friendly. Lady at the register in her black jacket is professional. Will continue patronizing Rob's!Vegetarian options: Several fish options“
“Stopped in for Easter dinner on our way home. Corey was our waiter, from the start he was nothing but amazing. We had a party of 7 and not once did he hesitate to help with anything, our drinks were always full, hardly had to even mention a refill, bc Corey was one it. Definitely made our evening dinner the best choice. Thank you Corey for being a great person, HAPPY EASTER!!!!Definitely ask for Corey if you come to this location!!!!“
“This was my first time visiting here. I always planned to get here since they opened. This particular day I kept seeing a commercial for the cod fish and it looked so delicious I had to get there that evening. I love that they cook the food to order. So everyone was helpful and patient while I learned the menu and asked questions. The cod was delicious fresh and crispy, crinkle fries fresh and crispy just like I love! I will be returning.“
“Beautiful little restaurant in Troy downtown with a menu offering great meats in particular. Very friendly service. The atmosphere was quite quiet for a Thursday evening but at least the tables are well spaced and we don't have the inconvenience of noise from other restaurants.“
“My famiy from out of town we used to go there when they came to town. Love their food. I always liked there waffles and pancakes with the fruit on it(I like blueberry) the best with a side of bacon. I never liked wihip cream so I was happy that the kitchen staff too it off for me. I liked being there with my family it was great felt almost like grandma's home in her kitchen I was very nice and hommi I felt very comfortable being there.“
“Wow! What a great place to go in the morning! Positive crew and atmosphere. Really good specially coffee's. Clean. Organized. Simplified. Really enjoyable. The bib overall uniforms were a hoot. Loved my time there. Will return shortly. This gets my: over the top, don't miss this place. You won't be disappointed.“
“Had for the first time today and it was really good! We got a mixture of sliders. My brothers fav was the chipotle chicken and mine was the Ranch bacon chicken and my dad’s favorite were the classic burger sliders! Definitely recommend. The customer service was 10/10 very sweet, friendly and genuine staff.“
“City BBQ is amazing. The good is great. Portions are great. $35.00 for two people - in today's market? Amazing.John, the manager let us substitute brisket on the Judges Sampler since they were out of pulled pork for the evening. Very grateful.Give em a shot. Great place!“
“It was perfect per usual. There were a lot of people sat at the same time for my server. She told me this and said another person would be right over. The food was hot, refills provided without asking. Another great visit to TJ ChumpsParking: Several locations. This one is my favoriteKid-friendliness: 100% kid friendlyWheelchair accessibility: Yes wheelchair accessible“
“Sub House is always a good option. This one has a full service bar, unlike the location in Englewood.Food is always good, personal preference is the "House 2" pizza.Very nice local sports bar atmosphere. Plenty of TVs and daily specials make this a frequent stop.Kid-friendliness: Good kids menu selectionMy kids love the Brownies!“
“I love, love, love the wings here. The butt warmers are sweet and tangy. Soooo good. When I bring my adult children we always get a big bowl of wings and share. This picture is 50 wings. They are large, crunchy and have so much flavor. If you haven't had Hinders you have to stop and try the wings. You will not be disappointed.“
“This place. Is INCREDIBLE. I know this is overused, but this ppace truly treats you like family. This is my first bar experience, and they just made themselves a new regular. And dont get me started on the food. It is BETTER than homemade. I ordered the nashville hot honey chicken sandwhich and im not kidding when i say that this was the best sandwhich and fries ive had in my 24 years. Piping hot, perfectly fried, and 100% fresh. Incredible service. Incredible food. Cant wait until i return!“
“My goodness! I thought I made good meatloaf! This place should be named Co 7 Meatloaf n BBQ! I cannot get enough of it. I actually was not even a fan of this restaurant. UNTIL I ATE THE MEATLOAF! So delicious all I can say.Parking: I’m so impressed“
“Late night dinner. I order the All-Star breakfast which is my favorite. I was greeted when I walked in. My server was very pleasant and helpful. I received exactly what I ordered and how I ordered it. Went home with full belly and a smile on my face.“
“Atmosphere could use a little TLC but the service is ALWAYS on point. Fast, welcoming, and respectful. The food is always good. You don't have to worry about something tasting different depending on the staff member! The staff holds conversation, checks in on you frequently, and loves to make kids laugh. Very accommodating.“
“We Do not usually eat at this particular location but we were fortunate enough traveling to meet up here with my college son to celebrate my birthday this evening. The food was very good but the service was even better. Ashley took great care of us before we even had a need. Thank you so much!It was such an enjoyable experience. You made us so happy we splurged on a great dinner. The best service I have had at any Texas Roadhouse.“
“Just had my first waffle house experience in Troy, Ohio Our 2 servers were awesome!! Soo friendly and gave good options for us to try. Her name was Shawna and not sure of the guys name. It restored my faith in Americans. Good people who are going somewhere! Keep up the good work!-your friendly northern friends from Canada“
“What a great local place for pizza, salads, and sandwiches. My italian sub was so good, as well as the in house made pizza! The bar was hopping, and the servers kept up so well.We highly recommend Little York Tavern for dinner after work or even a small family gathering!Parking: It has quite a large parking lot, no issues!!“
“This is a date night or family "nice dinner" staple for us. We love supporting local and we are rarely disappointed at Basil's. The menu frequently rotates at least 2-3 new things if not more, while somehow managing to keep my favorites: the salmon, bbq ribs, and JF burger are all recommended! Market toss salad is also a winner for lunch or dinner. Add the chicken! This experience was slightly different. We sat down in a Thursday night at 5:30 with a party of 3. Very attentive service soon diminished as the restaurant loaded up to capacity (almost) shortly after 6:00. Lots of younger (under 40) diners with tables of 6 and 8 common. We are in our younger 40s so it was nice to see groups frequenting Basil's instead of a franchise chain. This was not our servers fault, to be clear. She was simply overwhelmed with tables and larger ones at that. It was to the point where glasses were so dry and for 15+ minutes that my 8 year old son was eating ice because he was so thirsty. I was on my way to the bar for self service refills when our server finally noticed and RAN for the water pitcher. We will give it another try... but ownership without Todd seems different.“
“The food was great but I feel bad for the staff. It looks like they are stuck using pen and paper for everything, and it doesn't appear they have proper POS systems. When everything is manually resolved, it takes longer without automation which impacts the customer. All in all not a bad waffle house “
“Stopped in yesterday for a quick meal. What a place! The service was amazing even though they were super busy, I mean every lane was full and people were outside eating. From what the staff said they were down 2 people. Still, super fast and efficient! Clark and I had a nice convo and was super pleasant. They have every hotdog you can imagine! Honestly a perfect combination of service, food and environment. I will be back a lot more! Keep up the good work!“
“I called because the hours of operation on the internet is incorrect.Jewel answered the phone and was very chipper. She took our order a little early, before open. She is a "keeper"!She offered us the rewards program and signed us up. Jewel was so kind, that we brought her an Hawaiian Punch. When I arrived, the driver and other helper was just as kind! Thanks for hiring people that care about what they do! Hard to find GREAT HELP!GREAT JOB GUYS AND GALS!! THANK YOU AND THE PIZZA WAS GR8!!“
“Well. I don't leave google or yelp reviews to date. But I do check and read them. I might have to start leaving some. Good thing I didn't check tripadvisor or I wouldn't have went to this place for lunch. Most of the previous reviews on here don't do it justice. Well the cheesesteak sandwich was the best I've had. The sauce on it was amazing. The kids really enjoyed the chicken fingers and fries. To be fair, it is a bit pricey. For a couple $ less this would be awesome. But at this price point I would go back when I'm in the area for a visit for sure. Wished they would put one in Indy. Cheesesteaks here are about average at most of our sandwich shops. Will be back at some point. Thanks for the great lunch!“
“The chef is tremendous! The food is outstanding! It is clean. The dining room and outside patio are fun places to eat, more so than the ole' Clubhouse. (Some) of the staff and management are really nice people. The management team are consumate professionals. A really quaint place to dine alone if you want, as I choose to do. MY favorite is the takeout option!! Try their pizza? The Club sandwich is by far the (BEST) ever. Blue ribbon fare. The Lobster Ravioli is priceless. Every meal prepared in the kitchen is spot on. Order, then go home and eat. I do not drink, so the Clubhouse means nothing to me. A vibrant choice by many. Very clean and well maintained. Just lost it's luster in my eyes. I am more of a private person. Not my first choice for options. Members are so nice. It is a tight knit group. TV'S are superior in the Clubhouse. No egregious or capricious behavior by anyone. Disappear or blend in. Your choice. The Clubhouse? Same great food, same outstanding chef . Other avenues to take to dine. The Clubhouse is great for everyone else it seems. Very popular! Views outside under the awning are relaxing . Just my style other than the dining room or take out. I am proud to be a member. The Club, or (TCC) as it is referred to, has so much to offer. Golfing on a manicured course? Well maintained. Although I am done with golfing, it is beautiful to look at the nice green grass. Tennis is my game of choice. The pool in season is one of a kind. Hats off to the management. If you are looking to belong to a rare and classic establishment, look no more. See old friends and enjoy a meal. Or make new friends. Troy Country Club is well worth every dollar paid for services rendered.“
“Solid, old school diner. Probably what the Waffle House was before it became a massive chain. Small place, maybe 10-15 counter seats, five or six booths and four or five tables. Daily specials and a decent menu with breakfast served anytime. Kitchen area is directly on the other side of the counter, you can watch the cook do his thing. Handwritten daily specials on the blackboard. My Spicy Puppy burger was excellent - loved the spicy sauce that was on it - and my crinkle cut fries were perfect. They stayed hot almost the entire time I was eating my burger. The wife grilled turkey was very good as well and her tater tots were crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside.Wait staff was excellent, stayed on top of things and very friendly even though we were very obviously not regulars. Certainly an off-the-beater-path local place. If you like diners and are in the area, this is your place.Parking: More than enough spots in the lot with extra on-street parking on the street.“
