“Had dinner with friends. The service was exceptional. My burger tasted like the grill hadn't been cleaned well - in fairness I didn't say anything while there. I was hungry and just wanted to eat. Tried my friends artichoke dip it was exceptionally good.“
“We were going to the Cheesecake Factory however, I saw this place on the way there and instead decided to have our birthday dinner here.As soon as I walked in I knew I was in a whole nother level of restaurant. Atmosphere was excellent, the pathway to our dinning room lead through a majestic hallway of glass and mirrors.Once seated we were waited on by our dedicated server but also other wait staff that endlessly tended to our needs. Our server was excellent, they were absolutely so skilled at their profession, we didn't even notice the endless changes of silverware with each new dish.Alright enough about the service. The food was absolutely a show stealer. We began with sushi al a carte consisting of 2 salmon belly pieces, 2 of ahi tuna, and one of A5 Wagyu, each piece carefully topped with caviar and gold leaf. Phenomenal flavor, amazing presentation, excellent execution. Garlic ponzu sauce was served in the side. Then we had the Chilean Sea bass and the NY strip, we had the Gouda tater tots as a side. Words can't properly describe the excellent quality of this meal and presentation. The attention to every detail of the dishes presented was astounding. We finished with the hot butter cake and a creme brulee, both of which were excellent. Again, amazing presentation and top notch dishes. The drinks we ordered were served with a dry ice infusion which gave it a very cool look and bubbling the entire time. I had an old fashioned as well which was smoked with cherry wood. Incredible job done with every single part of the meal. And the fresh sourdough and pretzel bread was awesome! Can't wait to come back on our next trip. This restaurant is truly a cut above every other place I've ever eaten at.“
“I was there this particular evening with a large family party. I'll admit bonefish isn't on my top list, but tonight the food was great. The 3 servers we had were super nice. I appreciate great they were. I hate that I can't remember their names were supposed to be a party of 19. Thank “
“Someone has to have the newly trained server and sit beneath the American Flag. It's a loud table because you see all the servers butts typing in their orders forgetting we can hear them. She was in the weeds and she tried but no bread no salad dressing and the loudest table despite the reservation made weeks in advance. Do better Cam.“
“For a fast food, fried seafood place in Columbus this shop can't be beat. The food comes out fast, the staff is nice, and overall you get a good bang for your buck. I would say the crab cakes weren't necessarily the best, but for the price there is a great crab flavor in it compared to some places that lack that in lieu of cheaper ingredients, and I'd gladly spend about $10 on a crab cake platter compared to almost 3x as much else where despite it being slightly lacking. The fried smelts were exactly what I expected and the Mac salad and chips were top notch. I'll be coming back again for sure“
“This place is a gem. Everything was absolute fantastic. Spent some time talking to the partners. Very nice people who I are local and will support. Food portions are perfect size and priced correctly. Food was very flavorful, all scratch kitchen made in house all the way down to horseradish! Can hardly wait to return when I'm in Columbus again.“
“Think you have to go to California for authentic Japanese? While Akai Hana has "Americanized" sushi etc on the menu, they also do excellent sashimi dishes and tempura as good as anyone. Sure, I'd love to be enjoying this in Kyoto or at the fish market in Hakodate, but to find this level of quality on the eastern fringes of the American Midwest? Akai Hana scores big. Great staff at the sashimi counter, so definitely try to get a seat there.Low carb? Keto? Carnivore? Paleo? Akai Hana has choices and choices to suit your personal nutritional style!!Dietary restrictions: Low carb friendlyKeto friendlyCarnivore friendlyPaleo friendlyParking: Parking available on both sides - the Japanese market side and the Kenny Center side.“
“Love their spam masubi and boba tea. Last few times they haven't had boba and subbed for jellies which isn't my favorite, but the tea is still very good. Have had a few things on the menu and liked everything I have tried.Parking: It's on a strip mall so there is limited parking.“
“This continues to be one of our go to spots in Columbus for 10 years now! Always wonderful service and delicious food. The steaks are amazing… especially paired with the horseradish sauce and smashed potatoes. Most recently we had AMAZING service with Hunter, who was extremely attentive and service oriented! David, the front of the house manager, was also extremely kind and welcoming! Would HIGHLY recommend restaurant and location specifically.“
“I experienced an outstanding visit, food and service at this restaurant yesterday. Let me share who you have as exceptional staff on this day and high class experience and memory of my visit to Firebird celebrating a special occasion for me. From the front door very friendly engaging greeting host AVA, to a seasoned delightful server named Suzee, to a bartender named Victor who was VERY attentive, to the manger Elsye who frequented our table to check on our experience with everything and everyone, and finally to Regional staff Andy who has great customer service skills to talk about liquor selections at the end of our meal. Highly, Highly recommended for a visit and future visit.Vegetarian options: The seared carrots had excellent taste and so were the devilled eggs!“
“My wife and I had a wonderful experience for our 10-Year Anniversary! Our server, Nick, was on point with every aspect of our needs while dining. The food was exquisite and service was remarkable! We got to experience, for the first time, our server preparing a Bananas Foster in front of us - That was awesome and it was so good!! Thank you for the amazing food and service!“
“Never been here before but it was great and or new go-to Italian over OG. Salmon with a side of garlic mashed potatoes was perfect! Our server was very patient and consistently checked in on us.Dietary restrictions: Calories are listed on all itemsParking: Location wasn't busy, parked right in front of building. Other restaurants in area so lots of parking.“
“Love this place SO much!!! Have been many times in person but tonight ordered food from there via DoorDash and wasn’t sure how it would go but J’s wrapped up the food perfectly and kept cold from hot and put ice pack with the shrimp cocktail. So impressive! Never seen a restaurant handle takeaway with this much care. Love this place even more!!! Highly recommend.“
“While the food was served promptly and was good, the music they had playing over their sound system was soooo loud, my dining companion and I could not have a conversation during our lunch. We had to just sit, eat and leave. It was so loud that when I asked the server a question about the menu, he couldn't understand what I was asking and completely answered me with something that made no sense to what I asked. I actually made a comment about the loud music, but was only asked if I wanted to be moved to a booth IN THE SAME LOUD ROOM. A booth was not an option since we specifically requested to sit at a table because a booth did not give my dining companion the back support needed. Our lunch was the most UNPLEASANT experience I had ever had at El Vaquero. If the music being that loud is their new normal, I don't recommend dining there. Not if you want to talk to those you are dining with.“
“Wow what a fantastic little crab restaurant! Unassuming in it's strip mall location here and low key dining ambience but they definitely put all that effort back into their crab boil. Our food was out fast and amazingly delicious. We will definitely be eating here again.Side note, we got here a little earlier than the normal dinner rush time and thank goodness, by the time we were done it was packed.Side side note: Only two, unisex, single stall, bathrooms, I waited almost 10 minutes for one to free up, consider going before you go.“
“I went on a Saturday afternoon, not busy at all. I shared a boil with a family member. The boil was OK, I'm a picky person. The staff was very attentive and friendly.Kid-friendliness: My child had the chicken tender kids meal, the portion was very generous.“
“The staff went out of their way to make us comfortable. The food? Stellar! We started with oysters on the half shell. Hubby had the King Crab with all the sides, Mama had prime rib and King Crab. Meat was cooked to order-rare! Crab, sweet, juicy. Hungry yet? Small, cozy venue. We had a very short wait at 6:00 pm. Highly recommend this long standing Columbus business.Parking: Located in a strip mall so plenty of free parking.Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of wheelchair parking spots and we used one.“
“Absolutely LOVE this place! We come like once a week in the winter. Always get the hot pot. Good stays fresh and tastes so good!!!! Literally a ritual for us. I used to have hot pot when I lived in Boston and love how many options this particular place offers.“
“DOS SABORES MEXICAN GRILL AND CANTINA is Fabulous ?. LOVE my shrimp ? & chicken ? fajitas. It was some of the best food I've tasted in a while. I got my meal on the go, I still enjoyed it as if I sat in the restaurant. And the customer service was Great ?. They were so Nice ?. I will definitely be back soon.Vegetarian options: They have it on the menuDietary restrictions: They have it on the menu“
“I see they have locations around town; I've been to other seafood boil places but I don't think to any of theirs. Strip-mall, unassuming from the outside, dark and "nautical" on the inside. Nice, not fancy. No frills- because you are going to be making a mess. Paper on the tables, rolls of paper towels handy. I got the basics, their standard boil, L1 I think: shrimp (no heads but peel 'em,) crab (crack 'em,) sausage, with an egg and corn cob and a potato. I could easily have eaten another corn and egg, and the potato came in handy, along with the other extras, to take a break between shoveling seafood in my mouth. Got their house seasoning, which seems like a cross between Old Bay and garlic butter. Went with medium spice; I like heat, but you just never know from place to place. They brought the bag, plus a bucket and bib and gloves. I used the bib as a precaution but would have been okay without it, perhaps by sheer luck. Gloves helped. They brought a cracker and a normal fork; I asked for a skinny fork and they brought one. Loads of food, perfectly cooked. Tender big shrimp, crab with a decent amount of meat in the legs and knuckles, lots of pretty good sausage. The flavor, and the heat, seemed lacking at first. But they both built along the way, either just in my mouth or from the food sitting in the liquid. Mmm. Very good. The heat ended up lower than a medium, I would say. But I like spice so YMMV. I would go up a notch or two next time. Service was friendly and fast, though minimal. I came right when they opened and was the only one there for a bit. Expensive, but it's seafood and a lot of it. Not quite as good as the best boil places I've been to, but pretty good, and I left stuffed with good food.“
“1st time trying Poke bros. Very nice change up and flavor from usual food bowl places. Had The Duke has salmon, tuna, shrimp I opted for spicy, packed with flavor and taste fresh. Very friendly helpful staff, clean restaurant. Definitely be back.“
“We have eaten at Chinese restaurants from New York to San Francisco. If you’re looking for a 5-star neighborhood restaurant, this is it! Most people think that all Chinese restaurants are similar, but Panda House menu is outstanding! Their food preparation and extensive menu is worth the visit.“
“OMG! The food from Poke Bros is absolutely delicious!!!I swear there's a party in my mouth every time we order from them! Everyone in our family has enjoyed their delicious bowls!Everything from Poke Bros is always incredibly fresh and made exactly to order! We've had nothing but smiling, helpful, friendly service whenever we've gone to Poke Bros. The prices are very affordable! If you're vegetarian or pescatarian you'll be able to find things on their menu that you're sure to enjoy. Our entire family recommends Poke Bros very highly!“
“Foods good bit felt very nickle and dimed. Spent almost 100 on seafood, but it didn't come with corn or potatoes. $2 to add half piece of corn... OK so 2 people 2 ears of corn $16, add 2 potatoes for 2 people that's another $8. The bag was rather dry without enough space to dip the corn into, "do you want the $3 or the $6 extra sauce?" What I really wanted was enough sauce to begin with but sure. $160 for 2 people and after a $20 tip, felt pretty excessive for what we received. Probably wouldn't go again even though the food was great.“
“I happened upon this place on google. I have been 3 times and the food is perfect each time. I wish the inside had a better vibe, it is kind of stiff. But paper towels at each table is a nice touch! I wish parking was easier to maneuver. Most of all - I wish they had better hours. It is bizarre how a restaurant closes at 4p during the week and 8p on weekends. Please stay open longer!“
“This is my favorite place to go when I get out. I only go in the day early. Well I went this evening 7:30 drove and 1 1/2 hr in a Friday snow storm, not busy. This time I was soo disappointed and I was bragging. I was surprised the food was trash. Butter sauce was not hot spicy wise, I don’t eat pork they put pork sausage in after I made it clear. Tonight just was not it. If I do deal with them again it’ll be in the mid day. Service was horrible, had 3 diffent servers it was a mess.“
“We had the best waiter ever! Elliot checked on us often. I asked for a plate to share some of my salad. He said I’ll have it split for you and took it to the kitchen. My prime rib was excellent! My friend’s chicken was great also.We had key lime pie for dessert which they also split for us.Pleasant evening!“
“While we all pretty much know what to expect from traditional Mexican food -- by which I mean to say that while unfailingly tasty, it seems standardized and one place is more similar than not to another -- I was absolutely wowed at the quality and taste of Cazuelas fare. I can't wait to eat there again, and honestly, I'm not sure there's a reason for me to try any other Mexican restaurant in downtown Columbus.“
“Best place in the whole city, the atmosphere is kinda rough but that’s what makes this place a hidden gem and it’s super underrated and amazing, anyone who loves Chinese food needs to support this place so we can keep it open for business hopefully forever.“
“I recently enjoyed LB's golden fried fish and chicken at the Firm Foundation event and couldn't resist going back for seconds. The staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly, and the food was consistently hot and delicious. LB's has become my new go-to spot for a satisfying meal—you definitely need to check them out!“
“I had seafood soup (7 Mares) although it’s soup it filled me up. It was a lot (it’s pricey)! Seafood was fresh. The atmosphere here is lively. I saw a lot of great drinks that I would see in Vegas. My brother in law thought their candies was for ice cream but it’s for bar drinks lol. Great place for birthday celebration for kids and adults. Staff are awesome!Parking: ReynoldsburgKid-friendliness: Birthday celebration for a kid is a must here.“
“My girlfriend and I stopped in here late one night on a whim. I’m so glad we did! Such lovely people and a relaxing environment. The staff was very attentive, and the food was fantastic. (Get 2 orders of grape leaves; you won’t want to share.) It made for a great laid-back, late-night date.“
“I booked a table here based on some of the pictures I saw online. I thought I was booking a nice romantic spot. Not so much. We didn't want to sit over by the bar where there was a tv so asked to be put over by the window. Thought it would be quiet but turned out there must have been hockey regionals this weekend. Children running through and not quite the dining experience I wanted. Most of the food was good. The scallops were phenomenal with the risotto and spinach. My husband's steak was great except both of his sides were COLD. Not lukewarm but cold. Our server was amazing and took care of it and brought hot fries out for him. He also had broccolini as a side which looked like it had been cooked last week and just thrown in the dish. The dessert was ok. The hazelnut bread pudding was kind of dry and lukewarm although it was still acceptable. I have to say again that our server was amazing ( I'm sorry I forgot her name) Based on her service I would go back knowing now what to expect.“
