“MAN LISTEN. This was hands down the BEST soulfood I have EVER found in lake county ever in my 30 YR old life of living and dinning . Everything was amazing. Oxtail were so tender they fell apart. The sauce , too die for and the sides were all cooked to perfection. The rice , greens beans , cabbage and mac and cheese was all amazing. All of the meat (3 oxtail, Salisbury steaks , pot roast , fried dark meat chicken. ) was amazingly seasoned and cooked. Don't even get me started on the fact it was REAL BANNANS in the banana pudding. You cannot find a soulfood place like this everywhere so if you're in the area I'm begging you stop by and tip your cook. You will not regret it. I'm lacking the boxes clean as we speak.“
“The food was excellent! I had the turkey ribs (10/10) and the salmon dinner with fried rice & broccoli which was all well seasoned. The service was interesting. I was waiting for someone to smile, speak or be a tad more welcoming. I'm big on hospitality and overall professionalism. There is room for growth in those areas. Otherwise, I do recommend this place for the food!“
“Idk why I’m up thinking about the two scoops of food we decided to take home because it was that damn good! Or was it the funny beautiful chocolate bartender who ended up taking our order, or the very charming gentleman who welcomed us in directly with good eye contact and clear voices, helped us find comfortable seating with no problem and up held a standard I personally haven’t experienced in a while. Poise. The ambiance is amazing, the music is loud but I could hear every word anyone said whether nearby or far… the chef!!! He came out talked to us then went back and did his mf THING!!! We had the salmon Alfredo. And if you don’t know you need to go find out. It’s 7am why I am ready to get dressed and go to this place! I told my spouse Flavors is our new go to spot.
