“We have an absolutely amazing time every time we eat here! Perfect for a romantic, late night reservation with a group of 6 or less. Kitchen closes at 9 so get your order in- but the waitress told us right away so we didn't miss it! Great recommendations and waitress very knowledgeable about specials and favorites. GLUTEN FREE chicken breading options as well!!!!!! 10/10“

“Years ago when Hatfield's Goode Grub was just about to open it's location on Lorain Rd in Cleveland my spouse and I were walking by and we looked in the windows... the owner Ken Hatfield came out and invited us in to see the place prior to opening! He is such a wonderful man, very welcoming and friendly! We had a nice little tour and planned on going back asap, upon the official opening. Unfortunately we didn't make it there for years! Funny though that over those years, we saw Ken Hatfield on the food network and we would see the food-truck that they own around town. Recently we FINALLY made it in for brunch. OH-MY-GOODNESS! We were SERIOUSLY missing out! Not only is Ken Hatfield a wonderful guy but he is an amazing Chef and Hatfield's Goode Grub is one of my favorite brunch spots now! I don't think Ken remembered us from all those years ago, but he made it a point to come out of the kitchen during our visit and stop at every single table to touch-base with his guests. The food is amazing, the staff is attentive and the coffee will delight you! Check them out if you get the chance! You may even get to meet a real-live-(down-to-Earth) celebrity Chef!“

“The food was really yummy and well seasoned. We tried the sides entree with Mac n cheese, corn medley, potato salad, then 3 appetizers of fried green tomatoes, catfish strips, and shrimp n grits. Everything was on point! One of the cooks came out and recommended the catfish strips so of course we added those to our order. Yum! The bar area needed another bartender and their pos system streamlined but otherwise a go to spot for tasty food and friendly vibes…“

“Met these two wonderful restaurant owners in one of the the isles at restaurant depot lookin for syrup. We both exchanged information and both said that we would check out each others establishments just trying to support each-other and black business. Today I decided that I would order lunch for all the staff at my restaurant and that it would be from their restaurant and let me just skip all the small talk everything was flat out delicious!!! We ordered the Salmon Philly, Chicken Philly, Turkey Polish Boy, Perch Dinner, and a Chicken Wrap and let me just tell you I have absolutely no complaints and my staff all enjoyed their meals. I would also like to mention that my food was prepared in a timely manner and super fresh!!! Honestly I stayed and chatted for a while after it was done and had a nice little drive back to my restaurant and my food was still hot and ready to go no microwave needed!! I will be returning!!! “Having a tip automatically added to the bill of two people is off-putting. For the record, I'm a good Tipper. I did actually add to the 15% automatically added because our server was awesome. But tipping is an addition, not part of the bill. Heck, add it to the cost of the food and I'll pay it. but not in tipping. that's my choice.“

“The food was excellent here, enjoyed salmon nuggets, cabbage, chicken, and yam pudding a lot. The mac and cheese was nothing special but I’m not a Mac and cheese guy. Got some complementary cornbread that was extremely moist. What this place lacks most is a menu and some price transparency. Some quickly typed out sheet with some prices would really make choosing a meal easier. The menu on google is not accurate, which we found out upon arrival, and he no longer serves one of the things we were planning on getting when we chose this place. There apparently is not an accurate menu to be had. Then I thought since the online menu said 15$ for a special and he told me it comes with 2 sides, that our two specials with sides would cost 30, but he charged 37. I didn’t ask about it, but probably should have. Oh well. Would have been nice to get a pitcher to refill our waters with as well, is someone who is more on top of getting refills, or something like that. My wife used the bathroom and said it smelled so strongly of air freshener that she had to hold her breath the whole time. But to reiterate, the food was in contrast to the rest of the experience and was quite good. Definitely fresh, especially for American food“

“Food was good they need to get sturdier take home containers I ordered a turkey wing dinner with two sides which were all excellent but the Styrofoam container just wasn't sturdy more gravy spilled all in the plastic bag then what was left in the container ?“
