“We were looking for a place, where we felt welcome. We got some suspicious looks at first but after talking to the staff and owners, we knew we were where we needed to be. We are planning a trip to Youngstown just to show our appreciation! Ms. Dot got me putting ranch seasoning on my fries! Mickie! Them peppers Auntie!! Pickles were being delivered but I had to take a jar with me! Thank you so much for making us feel at home! We even had a great time with the patrons! We were advised to go to Frieda’s night club later that evening, based on the atmosphere we were looking for. We are definitely planning a trip just to visit again! And yes, my Wanda B’s peppers and my aunties pickles made it all the way back to TN! Paid extra for luggage but it was worth it!“
“If you’re looking for a great place to dine, be sure to try the Riser Tavern! We went to the one on W Western Reserve Rd and enjoyed it immensely. We shared a hot pretzel appetizer, which came with 3 sauces and was great. We both had the breaded and fried fish sandwich which looked exactly like the pictures on their menu! And it tasted better than its picture! We were there in midafternoon, and the place was more than half full, which tells you others feel the same way we do about it. “Kyle was the best bartender I have ever had, and that shouldn’t be taken lightly. The atmosphere he created was insane and this was our first time coming. He was very tentative to us at the bar and was super funny. His music is also unmatched. Best. Bar. Ever!“
“First timer. Good vibe. Three birthdays that night. Everyone for the most part was masked up. Music was on FIYAH S/O DJ Word. Small but accommodating. Cameras and security. Closed at 10pm so the barmaids were working overtime. They deserved every tip and some.“
“In from out of town for the Easter Holiday weekend. Met family there Friday and had to have the Battered Fish and Crab Tacos. Absolutely fantastic!! Have not been here in a few years, and was great then, still great now! Service was typical spot on. We sat outside and lots of room. If you have not been here, come!!Parking: Plenty of parking, several open areas even on a Friday Fish Night!Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp, wheelchair accessible but probably requires some effort due to angle and door on the side lot. “I had the special Friday fish with coleslaw and perogies.Wife had Fish and haluski. The haluski was very good, Fish was very good, maybe the best I've had since moving here, we both had fried, maybe a lemon half would have made it perfect. Our waitress was very nice and the kitchen was very busy. Great place for a weeknight dinner.“
“The Iron Mann Grille is pretty cool. A cozy little bar with a very chill atmosphere. Bar staff is super friendly and on point when you need another beverage. The food is out of this world. The have some amazing wings & wing sauces. The bar is fully stocked with a nice selection of liquors. They also have a beautiful outside dining patio to relax on. I’m a big fan of this place, you will be too.“
“I grew up eating bar wings. I recently had their wings for the first time and I am absolutely obsessed! Any time I travel I always ask the locals who has the best wings. I’ve eaten them all over the country and I can easily say these are some of the best wings I’ve ever had!! If you like wings and happen in the area, do yourself a favor a grab an order. My only disclaimer is once you start you can’t stop eating them!“

“It's Friday night and you want to do something fun, maybe have a couple drinks...some food and just chill, right? Karaoke night at the Thirsty Frog will always check the boxes. Look, I've lived here for a couple years now and we just found this place about a month ago. I didn't know what to think when I opened that door for the first time but what I found really took me by surprise...in a good way. The bartenders are so fun, friendly and full of great convo. It's so fun watching them work too, they zip around the place with smiles on their faces and they're so sweet. They make this, I think it's called, The Green Frog drink that tastes like an apple jolly rancher but do not be deceived, that thing is STRONG. Only 1 needed (or 2 if you're feeling extra :) The food is pretty decent here too. They truly do know how to cook their chicken wings too and they're delicious. I've had the chili thai, buffalo, garlic butter and teriyaki. They make these seasoned homemade potato chips that are served with sour cream & onion dip too...delish! Another notable mention is their burgers- YUM and fried veggies...so good! Their prices are great making it easy to have a great time and keep your budget right. You won't go overboard here. Getting on the list for Karaoke is easy...you walk up to the front, tell the DJ your song and he calls your name when it's your turn. You can also check the list of songs to choose from right on their website. This is not an over the top place, you'll find most folks singing oldies and classics but they do have all genres available to sing. During the week, you can also play music on the jukebox right from your phone. The frog has that hometown vibe making you want to come back for more.“
“Its a great local bar. I stopped in with a buddy of mine and we had 2 beers yuengling to be exact. The price was great and we found a table that was quiet enough to talk to each other. I recomend this place highly great people and great bartenders!!“
“Decent burger, very pricey. 14 bucks for a burger in Lowellville, OH a bit high. Nice atmosphere, excellent waitress. Update...if you use your credit card, prepare to pay more. If you want cheese on your cheeseburger..add 1 dollar. If you need salad dressing beyond the tiny amount they give you, $1.25 for a thimble full.“

“Today was my first time getting anything here, and I chose to go with the crispy chicken salad that I always see and hear great things about. I asked for extra Italian dressing and I got just that! They understood the assignment and whatever it is and however they make it is so good. The lady who I’m assuming made my food was very nice so I gave her a decent tip.
