Family owned and their food is fantastic. It was so fun to see the kids grow up so fast. Its my favorite chinese place in the mahoning valley. I moved away from the area but we still make special trips out for especially the crab ragoons, always fresh. They even were growing their own veggies for a while until some karen complained. I recommend this place to everyone in the area
I've been going to Hunan Express since 2015, and let me tell you, it's hands down the best Chinese restaurant around. There food is always my go to when I get too lazy to cook. If you're looking for a delicious and satisfying meal, you can't go wrong with Hunan Express.

BEST CRAB RANGOON ON THE PLANET. This is probably the best Chinese food I have ever had in my entire life. Like wayyyyyy better than main moon don’t even waste your time getting that junk. This family is not only amazing cooks, but very friendly which makes it feel like i’m at home. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!!
