About Butterfields Buffet

Butterfields Buffet provides a decent dining experience at an affordable price. The staff, including greeters, cashiers, and waiters, are friendly and hardworking, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The food includes highlights such as crab legs and prime rib, which are served at the carving station. The buffet also offers peel n eat shrimp, an oyster bar, and a Chinese food/pho station. The pho can be quite salty, and some crab may look unappetizing, with a few pieces not kept cold enough. Desserts like pecan pie are popular among guests, and the salad bar is broad and home-cooked style. The place is generally clean, and the atmosphere is quiet, allowing for private conversations. Service is attentive, with drinks filled regularly and plates cleared efficiently. The buffet area is well-maintained, although occasionally some tables are left with dishes. Prices are reasonable; with a basic discount, a meal costs around $177 before tip, making it a good value compared to similar restaurants in Dallas. Despite the variety, the food quality remains average, and some dishes, like the oysters, may not be fresh. Overall, Butterfields Buffet is a convenient choice for those seeking a budget-friendly, casual meal, with friendly staff and a relaxed environment.

Food is frozen with no taste.
We’ve been to this buffet a few times, Each Time Was Alright, Subpar at most except for its seafood days. However, we decided to give the Buffet Another Shot, and it did not disappoint. It’s Chinese Or Asian Cuisine didn’t at least. The Spicy Gochujang Chicken was the best dish on my plate. The Beef Stir Fry With The Rice was PHENOMENAL. The Food was Decorated With Scallions that made it look so much more Delectable and Enjoyable! There seemed to be only one...read full review
Dried up Golden Corral food at high prices in fact the selection and food is better just about anywhere else. Worst casino buffet ever. But its not even really a buffet. Reminded me more of a high school cafeteria long lines for dried up fried foods.

No specialties no seafood they do have a bbq counter with prime rib on display but no one around to serve it. Instead i stood in line for dried up fried fish and corn.

$40+ for dried out fish and corn.
