“jj's is the current incarnation of the old javier's. thank you God for rerurning a mexican style resturant to hominy, where one can eat without feeling guilty. it is both incredibly delicious and quite affordable. the $10 dollar lunch specials arw served quickly, hot, and just perfect. even a profoundly hungry man may find more food on his plate than he can eat!

there is another mexican style place in town, but i will absolutely refuse any food from there. i won' t support any place owned, or anything cooked by the hands of a man or woman more clotted with sin than my own. if you knew me, you would be staggered by what you just read.

The salad bar was a very nice touch and super clean, AND it had very legit tabouli and excellent potato soup. AND THEN the open faced burger (super fresh seasoned beef) with sautéed onions and toast, mashed potatoes and gravy was perfect. Perfect. The food arrived very quick and the nice server was genuinely kind and attentive. I rarely write reviews, but this place knocks it out of the ballpark. I’ll be back. I bet their breakfast is awesome too.”

Corporate really needs to do a surprise check on this restaurant. The server/waitress was hateful to my 77 year old uncle and talked back rudely when he asked about his pizza. “I usually don’t have issues with this location, but this morning was a train wreck. I sent my husband to get breakfast, and our order was so messed up. We were short 1 hash brown, we ordered an extra biscuit but got an extra order of gravy instead. I ordered Splenda in my tea but they put sugar in it instead. My husband asked for picante sauce for his breakfast burritos but he didn’t get any. Nothing too major but definitely annoying.”
