The ahi tuna was grilled and seared to perfection with the lime twisted chimichurri dressing made for a spectacular salad for my second visit to the Compass Wood Fire kitchen.The first visit I stopped in for lunch and had the famous meatball sandwich and side of pizza rolls. ?. com

Maybe it's the wood-fired cooking, I don't really know. But this is the best place to eat in McAlester. Every menu item I've ever ordered was great!
Pizza was OK. I expected a better dough and sauce for a wood fired experience. Also had the bacon wrapped Jalapeño appetizer and nothing was wrapped in bacon. I can safely say I will not be back.

We had the Greek one and the daredevil. Both were fresh and delicious. Never thought I would have liked a spicy hot pizza,but they pulled it off in a big way.
Really enjoyed dinner. I had pepperoni and Italian sausage pizza with a side salad with blue cheese dressing . My family will be back. All the food was excellent!
