If you enjoy being lied to about housing options, go with OU Housing. They'll tell you that you can apply on a certain date but when that date comes and goes they'll tall that that, in fact, the waitlist has been closed since Spring.

Horrible. I was excited until I got there. The apartment was cleaner when we left than when we first moved in. The carpet had holes in it, and there was this weird yellow liquid on the ceiling. The staff is no help, some are rude, and others are just stand offish. Rent is way over than what you can get from other apartment complex’s near by. They lock first year students in and trick transfer students that are desperate to find housing. There is a policy that you must move out 24 hours after your last final. Have you ever packed and studied for finals at the same time? It is not easy. It would have been nice to have at least 2 days to pack and just worry about finals. The University is great, however, food and housing is just a way to scam naive students. The only reason I am giving two stars is because of the donation drive they did during move out.

By and far the most compassionate people I've ever met. Always willing to go the extra mile just to make parents happy and ensure students are successful at OU.

Staff is unhelpful, rude, and obviously has no idea what is going on half the time. One of the most disorganized housing offices I’ve ever dealt with. Good luck if you have to interact with them at any time during your stay at OU

Hi, I’m looking for someone to take over my lease. I’m paying it down to $329 a month. Instead of $380. It’s a really nice apartment complex. Very close to the school.

Thank you for the best move in experience! The ninjas were all so helpful. Everyone we came in contact with had the best attitude and it was 104 outside.

Looking someone to take over my lease for my apartment, I am unable to move in now . And I already signed the lease . Rent is $384 a month it is a 3 bed 3 bath you pay per room , it’s fully furnished, all utilities paid within the rent. It’s ar varsity house in Norman. pm me for more info
The 6000+ volunteers who spend their Saturday in April serving the community would go hungry if it weren't for the generous food donations that OU Food and Housing has consistently been willing to donate. They have been an unmeasurable aid to the success of The Big Event, not only on the day of, but also throughout the school year as the organization supplies food for various meetings and awareness events. A reliable and tasty service, OU Food and Housing is an integral part of The Big Event's tie to both the Norman community, and the University of Oklahoma.

So disappointed in the service we have received from this office. My calls were never returned, and the information we requested was never available. When I asked to speak with a specific person I was told he was at lunch, no matter what time of day it was. Clearly customer service is not a priority even though students are spending thousands on their university housing!
