“Zero Tolerance Coffee and Chocolate 913 W. Britton Rd., OKC, OK 73114 Gets a Groovy Medicare Jet-Setters Review I found the place that feeds my hippie soul and my patriotic spirit all at once. The place is called Zero Tolerance. The moment I walked into this coffee and brunch joint, I felt a warm and happy karma surrounding me with its presence. I knew I was about to have a groovy adventure. In one little corner of the shop were two Medicare Jet-Setters with their guitars singing the hits of the sixties and seventies. In another corner were two more musicians waiting to have their turn entertaining the guests of Zero Tolerance on a Saturday morning. I applauded loudly and gave a few shouts of pure enjoyment as the Medicare-aged musicians played. I imagine for baby-boomer performers, when they take a break these days, it is not a pot time out but a Motrin break. As I conversed with one of the musicians, he said, "We are here just pickin and grinnin'." Another one of the guitar-strumming musicians told me to come back when the weather is warmer because they play outside on the patio. You can bet I will be back to enjoy three of my favorite things, being outdoors, live music, and great karma. Medicare Jet-Setter Neil and I started our brunch with a mocha latte made with whole milk from Red Ridge Creamery. Red Ridge Creamery is an incredible dairy located in Lahoma, Oklahoma. Our drinks were the most perfect chocolate coffee drinks ever. The coffee was just the right temperature, and the mocha was the exact perfection of adding a touch of sweetness and chocolate, but not so much it overpowered the coffee. At Zero Tolerance, they roast and temper their chocolate right at their shop in Old Britton. Their raw Cacao comes from top-quality, independent cacao suppliers using transparent trade. The owners of Zero Tolerance ensure their farmers receive the best prices for the highest quality cacao. Everything about Zero Tolerance is groovy! Before we even forked up our first bite of brunch, we knew it would be exceptional. Neil ordered the two-egg house omelet. The omelet oozed with cheese, skillet pepper mushrooms, sweet peppers, and tomatoes. This brunch delight also came with beef sausage, toast, and fresh apple slices. Neil stated, "This omelet is light but flavorful. The sausage is delicious, and I like the addition of the fresh sliced apples." I ordered the cheddar onion sandwich. This creation boasted of a poached egg, black forest ham, basil, and tomato. It also came with a side of fresh apple slices. I enjoyed every scrumptious bite. Zero Tolerance Chocolate and Coffee is veteran owned. Roy is the veteran, and Maura is his wife. It is fun to watch them work because they smile the entire time. You know they are adding a bit of love to each drink and food item they make from scratch. Their name comes from their Zero Tolerance policy, from the quality of their products and services to their trade practices. They source directly from independent farmers, ensuring they are properly compensated. The farmers, their community, and their customers are their lifeblood, and they treat them with great care and respect. The coffees they sell all have intriguing names, and the back of the sacks have the tasting notes, pairings, and a coffee nerd zone. I spent an enjoyable amount of time reading the brown bags of coffee. I bought the coffee named Truth and Validity, which is good because they say so. I had so much fun at Zero Tolerance. Finding a place you know is your go-to haven is groovy.“

“Stopped in for a quick pour over and latte. Maps directs you to a paid lot, but it looks like there is free parking nearby. The entrance was a little odd and fortunately there was an employee coming in behind me and they let me know I was in the right place.
For the pour over, fantastic. Great taste and would definitely get it again. I was a little let down that they only had two options. One was the lighter roast that I chose and the other was their espresso blend. I saw some single origin options on the wall for sale I would have liked to try. Regardless, great pour over.
The latte was fine. Not great, not bad. It tasted a little over extracted/bitter but drinkable.
Overall, the place was nice and I’m glad I made it out.“

“It can get a little hectic and intimidating for people used to Starbucks-type places (The name calling system can be confusing, not the optimal line configuration when busy, kitchen limited hours, allows dogs) once you overcome this some of the quirks become endearing.

I see the same regulars often. Okie's of all variety studying, eating, chatting. The Chai latte is heavily spiced which I like.

I'm guessing ownership/management is nice to employees. I see the off-duty employees come in and hang out a lot.

Kid-friendliness: Kid-friendly

Wheelchair accessibility: Accessibly entry and bathrooms are large rooms.“

“Thanks to my dentist's gift card, I stumbled upon Aspen Coffee Company, and boy, am I glad I did. As soon as I entered, the bustling atmosphere immediately drew me in. People of all ages were gathered, laptops open or deep in conversation, all united by their love for expertly crafted coffee. The scent of freshly roasted beans filled the air as I approached the counter and ordered a peppermint mocha. My taste buds were delighted with each sip - smooth, rich, and perfectly balanced with just the right amount of peppermint. And let's not forget about the food - their Asian wrap was bursting with fresh ingredients and flavor. The friendly baristas worked tirelessly to serve everyone, creating a welcoming and efficient environment. I recommend Aspen Coffee Company for a delicious cup of joe and a cozy atmosphere.“
