They have roaches. Flat out all over the place. Went here multiple times, then came back to see them on the counter... and then saw them babies crawling on the table by the front door as we sat down. Won't be returning

It hurts my heart to write a bad review for Coney Island. This place is so special to me. But the last two times I've went they only have this one lady working her tail off and she just can't keep up. The restaurant is dirty and I saw a few cockroaches.The Coney Island on 25th Street in Capital Hill is a stark comparison. That Coney Island is spotless, well staffed and a great place to eat.I heard a rumor that each one is owned by brothers and that one brother takes things more seriously..... It showsIf you want the best hot dog experience then go to the Coney Island on 25th Street in Capital Hill. It's only a few more miles and you won't be disappointed.

First time, last time. The place hasn't been updated in about a decade. It's all OU posters. The coneys were decent, but the establishment will not be winning any awards for cleanliness, food prep, or service. The fountain machine was down due to a plumbing issue. They were selling can drinks only. The only non-carbonated drink choice is lemonade. The lady behind the counter said the owner wouldn't allow her to serve any drinks without ice. Eventually she said that she could sell it if they charged double. None of this was written anywhere!

CASH ONLY HERE! hiving 4 stars because this is one of the last, reasonably priced places to eat in downtown OKC. I love the vibe. But it doesn't feel especially clean in all honesty. Straight up cheese dogs. Nothing fancy. I'll definitely come back.
I used to live in Chickasha and I vote for JW Grill's coneys with the slaw they put on theirs. No offense this place is a hidden treasure for a cheap meal when in the downtown area. JW Grill in Chickasha has the same red hot dogs as this place.
