My ignorance but did not know ebony pasta made with squid ink would have made another selection. However, the expensive dish was not very appealing it was lacking flavor, services & atmosphere great.

My wife has significant dietary issues that have made eating out nearly impossible. I've contacted several restaurants around the city and while a few have been accommodating, none have been more so than Flint. The restaurant manager gave me the Chef Derreck's personal email and he personally created a dish that met all of her requirements and tasted incredible. Prior to eating, the waiter, restaurant manager, and chef all came to our table to talk to my wife and I. We've had a hard time trusting restaurants when eating out because very few are able to accommodate her, so to have a chef go above and beyond for us made the evening very special. They cared in a way no other restaurant in the city has. I'll also say that the food was absolutely delicious. I had the meatloaf, which was the best I've ever had. We are definitely planning on coming back to Flint.

Had a great time sitting on the patio sharing appetizers and a bottle of wine! The oysters and the jumbo shrimp appetizer are absolutely something to write home about! The fried green tomatoes were a little soggy and the sauce just wasn't as good as the other dishes. Overall 10/10 experience and absolutely lean on your waiter for wine recommendations! There were so many choices and he couldn't have picked better for us!

Atmosphere is nice, customer service needs a lot of improvement. It took forever for the waitress to greet us. Employees that walked by our table avoided eye contact. My friend’s salad was missing the dried cherries that are part of the ingredients. The waitress proceeded to tell her that they were in there when they weren’t. No one came by to ask if we wanted more water. My burger was average. My friend ended up getting sick thirty minutes after leaving.

Our omelets were rather bland and the potatoes and grits weren't much better. Our friends Eggs Benedict was not good. We did have an order of the pancakes that was really amazing, the only thing I would really recommend.

Not a friendly environment. Lack of customer service. Food was overpriced and average. Employees avoided eye contact. The only positive is, that the restaurant is nice.

Fancy restaurant. I ate at the bar. The best hamburger I have had in a long, long time. Pricey, but delightful. Great fries, too.

Service and atmosphere is always great, but even though they give you options of how you want your meat prepared, ours has always been overcooked. The ate here last night and tonight due to staying in the hotel and the food was much overcooked for the price.

One of my favorite places to visit when I am in town for work. The space is beautiful and they have great art! The staff is always nice and helpful. And the food is also amazing. I try something new every time I am there and it is always delicious. They used to have gnocchi and I hope they bring it back! Highly recommend!

FLINT was absolutely fantastic. The service was excellent with an exceptionally attentive waitress. The cab cakes were panko crusted, crispy on the outside, soft and delicious on the inside with plenty of crab meat. The sauce was delicate but quite flavorful. I had the shrimp and grits. Being from Louisiana, I try to sample shrimp and grits everywhere I can. I was a bit concerned about the tomatoes and arugula, but the tomatoes added a great tang, and the arugula was not overpowering. One of my favorite things was that the shrimp (which were rather large) had the tail removed - I hate getting messy trying to take the tails off. I also had a blueberry Anthem Sour Ale, which admittedly did not compliment my meal, but I was intrigued, and it did not disappoint. I finished off the meal with a white chocolate raspberry cheesecake that was smooth and cream. The sauce was a perfect combination of sweet and tart. All around, it was superb. The meal was priced for what you would expect with a restaurant of this quality.

I initially had a less than stellar experience the first time I went to Flint, and to my great surprise, the management team reached out to me and personally invited me to return to the restaurant. Not only was it flattering to know that they read and responded to feedback, but I was absolutely delighted at Flint's second attempt. We were seated immediately on arrival (in fact, likely a few minutes before our actual reservation time). We had our drinks on the table along with our fantastic appetizer of skillet cornbread before we could even blink. Our waitress was fantastic, and I strongly regret my inability to give her the individualized praise she deserves. Next our entrees were fantastic! (And also came out with lightening speed). I was treated to the best chicken fried steak I've ever eaten. Our waitress and the manager, I believe it was Victoria, ensured we were taken care of during the entire meal, and I cannot stress enough how flawlessly they ensured we had everything we needed from napkins to making sure we never even had an empty glass. Finally, the dessert of turtle cheesecake was just as rich and sweet as you'd hope for and expect. I sincerely appreciate the management team at Flint for inviting us back, and it may have honestly been the most impressive service we've had since we have been in Oklahoma. Thank you for a perfect evening dining experience!

The service was outstanding! He was very sweet and engaging! The fried green tomatoes were so flavorful and perfect! The bacon wrapped meatloaf and mashed potatoes were very good. The chicken fried steak, however, was very bland. The turtle cheesecake was good. The strawberry shortcake was so delicious! All in all, it was a great time, and I am excited to go and try other things! I'll definitely order the fried green tomatoes again!

I am staying at the hotel Flint is connected to and went to the OKC Thunder game. Walked back after the game and decided to treat myself to a late dinner. Was going to have simple burger and fries, but then asked about the fried chicken and she said it was really good, also it came with Mac and Cheese she said was great.Well,...it came out, and it was the worst fried chicken I have ever had. Worse than fast food chains. It was way over cooked, so much so that that the meat was dry. AND THIS WAS A THIGH!!! I wish I could have taken a picture of how much was edible vs how much was over fried, but my phone battery was dead. Also, it was only 1 thigh, no other pieces as all. Really disappointing. The Mac and Cheese was good for the first 3-4 bites, then after that is seemed pasty and not much cheese. I think the first 3-4 bites were good because I was so let down by the chicken that anything would have been better. And, it was 36 bucks. The server was really nice, that was the only thing good. I did tell her the chicken was really bad and she apologized. No manager came out or anything, and I didn't ask for one as I didn't want to be a botherI just paid the bill and went up to my room.We have a Flint in Phoenix as well. I was there a couple months ago and had Tomahawk steak. It was also underwhelming. So as it turns out, Flint is a chain with good looking layout and furnishings, but the food is pretty bad.I do not recommend eating here AT ALL. Maybe grab a cocktail at most but definitely do not eat here.
