Captain D's offers a variety of dishes, with some hits and misses according to customers. The chicken tenders and fries are good but portions might leave you wanting more. The $6 meal is tasty but doesn't include a drink. The fish is decent, but the spicy fish can be disappointing due to being smaller and overcooked. Shrimp is small and mostly batter, not worth the price. Service can be inconsistent, with excellent service from an older lady but poor service from a skinny older white guy. Despite some flaws, the spot-on fish to batter ratio and overall decent food quality might still make Captain D's a go-to place, as long as you know what to order and when to visit.
