“Started off with the shrimp springs rolls loved the portion on them & the shrimp was fresh not fishy.Me and wifey had the meatball pho.. the broth was amazing super tasty clean broth (no grease). Our Waitress was sunshine she was Super respectful and very professional. Best pho I’ve ever had and I’ve tasted a lot back home in Dallas. ( looks like the bad side of town but you’ll be fine)“
“I ate here at lunchtime. It was a little busy. Got lucky on being able to park on the street. Way cheaper than the lot behind the restaurant ($1.50 vs $8.00). I got the Huevos Rancheros. It was good. I would order it again. I didn’t give it a 5 because it wasn’t the best I’ve ever had but it was good. The service was just ok. They seemed a little short handed. The hostess who also ended up being my waitress seemed put out because I asked for a booth and she attempted to seat me at table that has one side like a booth. She grants half a booth. I was like, I asked for a booth. There were several open.Atmosphere wise, I thought it was just OK.Parking: Would highly recommend parking on the street. If you park in the lot behind the restaurant, it’s a min $8 for 4 hrs. On the street, I did an hour and a half and it was $1.50. A lot cheaper. But there might not be any spots so you’ll be forced to park in the parking lot.“
“Food was fresh and delicious. The prices are reasonable and there is a wide selection of dishes. The service is welcoming and nice. The owners are very nice and pleasant to customers. The overall area in which this restaurant is located requires caution on the part of patrons.“
“Tip of the day…..Bring Cash! The P.J.’S Sandwich Shop couldn’t be in a more fitting location. It is well hidden. Inconspicuously tucked in the corner of a small suite of shops, and quite fittingly next to an antique store. Its setting adds to the ambiance. When you enter, the decor is noticeably reminiscent of little old ladies tea room. But it is not. It is well-established and well recognized for being one of Tulsa’s customer pleasing sandwich shops. Proof of the years of love and recognition hang on the walls.P. J.’S is a sandwich shop, as in “sliced bread” sandwiches, not sub style. Don’t let that lower your expectations. The sandwiches are fabulous. Somewhat like your grandmother might make, but much better. P.J.’S has the appropriate accompaniments for your sandwich: Cole slaw, potato salad, pasta salad, or chips. Their menu expands to meal salads, soups, chili. and you can do combinations of those offerings. Also, cookies and brownies!I had the Club which is advertised as P.J.’S largest sandwich. A triple stack of bread with ham, turkey, bacon, cheese, lettuce, tomato and mayo. There was no scrimping on the bacon. Chips for the side. Excellent sandwich. My wife went with the Chicken Club. Sliced, mesquite grilled, chicken breast with bacon, cheese, lettuce, tomato and mayo. Another very good sandwich! This is a rare, exemplary, little shop that has a dedicated following. Great friendly service, with a cozy neighborhood feel.Bonus! Pay with cash and you get a free cookie!!!! P.J.’S does take credit cards but, “No Cookie for You!”For other reviews laced with superfluous, time-wasting inessential information, sarcastic diatribe and subjective opinion, follow Spike S. on Yelp and Spike Speedwell on Google“
“Me and my bride frequent here. It’s a family owned business that puts a lot of care into their food and it shows in how amazing it always tastes. Our go-to are papusas (cheesy, doughy, crispy round morsels of goodness) and the baleada prepped (giant breakfast taco/burrito). Of course anything you choose off their menu will be delicious. If you’re feeling adventurous but not wanting to stray away from familiarity. Get their fried chicken plate. It’s mega loaded with crispy plantains, sauce, cabbage, and the crispiest most well season fried chicken you’ll have. Dine in if you can so it stays crispy rather than to-go and it get soggy. Recently we tried their seafood soup “sopa marinera”. And let me tell you. It. Was. Amazing. Does not have overtly fishy pungent smell but has all the seafood life in it. Crab, shrimp, mussels, calamari. In a piping hot coconut milk broth that smells divine. Can’t oversell this place enough. Always happy to go here.“
“I’m not an Olive Garden fan but my family is. Got to the restaurant in time for the Lunch menu and it was sufficient amount of food.Salad and breadsticks are always a part of the meal. The food was good and the server was excellent. The calamari appetizer was very good.“
“Great atmosphere, and our waiter was fantastic. The cuisine is consistently wonderful. I arrived with my family after work. My dress was not ideal, yet our server treated us with the utmost respect and kindness. Truly recommend this location!“
“I'm in love with all of them there but they don't know it. I'm a chef in town. Excellent atmosphere, vibe, food and wow, a very strong message behind this place with some of the most beautiful and meaningful artwork I have ever seen. This place is a must. Take it from a local.“
“Very affordable and very good food, a friend of mine shared the Kung pao chicken and pork soup dumplings. The chicken in the pao was tender and just so easy to eat! The dumplings were full of flavor and tasted amazing with the chili oil from our entree. Definitely will be eating here again. If you want quality chinese’s EAT HERE! We also had 2 to go boxes with left overs so don’t worry about portion.“
“I first got here before 11am for lunch specials $9.99 but the store owner refused to let me order the $9.99 deal which it kinda hurts my savings. I ordered beef and Broccoli combo for $11.99, the food tastes good and fresh made. I might want to come again if $9.99 deals is available.“
“Best Panera ever!! The Sunday morning crew is spectacular with their service and go above and beyond to get to know you. Every one of those employees makes me excited for my Panera trip every Sunday. They know my name, my drink, and get me out quickly! Thanks team!“
“My husband and I had an enjoyable evening at Freya. Excellent service, attentive staff, and the food was great. It felt like we were in a higher end European restaurant so it gave us the feeling of almost being on vacation abroad. We look forward to going back and trying some other things that caught our eye on the menu.“
