“it was a positive and negative first visit. lovely placed when we showed up. order was taken within a couple minutes. half hour later, not seeing our waitress the whole time, had to ask the other one if she could see what was going on with our order. she immediately seated us at a better order and took our order again. the original waitress then came over interrogating us on whether we just made a whole different order. I explained the situation. she read what she thought was our order, and it wasn't. when she finally came back with our food she claimed the order ticket had fallen on the ground. no apologies, simply excuse after excuse. even after all that, something as simple as she didn't bring the gravy yet also charged for that. I would recommend to the kitchen to put the fruit in a bowl as it made a plate full of liquid under the rest of my breakfast. the food was absolutely delicious and the one waitress was very helpful. but I probably won't return after this experience. hoping it's just a one off bad day”

“We have dined at a lot of Breakfast Restaurants in the Durham Ontario area and the best for quality, quantity, service and reasonable pricing is Scrambles in Ajax Ontario hands down. The cook puts together an amazing bacon and egg or sausage and egg breakfast. They have a great morning special for each dish. Also, our server, Shahana is always amazing. They are located at 527 Westney Road South, Ajax, Ontario, Canada.”

“We went to Symposium for our anniversary and what an amazing night! Our server Jaime was beyond amazing. Extremely welcoming and fantastic customer service. I recently came home from a trip in Bermuda and asked the bartender to make me a 'Bermudian Rum Swizzle' and Sawan did not disappoint! He nailed it right on the pin! The food was delicious and compliments to the chef! We also indulged in their tiramisu cake as our dessert and my goodness, the flavor! So fresh! All in all, an extremely wonderful night thanks to Jaime and Sawan!”

“This foodie's first time visiting DiVino's was phenomenal. The ambience was beautiful and had a upscale casual vibe. As for the food, chef's kiss all around!! The seafood platter, bruschetta, wings, pizza and pasta were all quietly eaten (you know what that means 😉); everything was served fresh, hot, delicious and beautifully presented.....and their coffee top-notch!

Big up to Rav for the fantastic service and warm welcome. Rav was very attentive and her recommendations did not disappoint!

Overall, this was the best dining experiences I've had in a long time. My only complaint is that the chili oil, which is the best I've tasted all year, was not a available for sale, fingers crossed maybe in the future 😉

“First time here and we cannot recommend this place enough. staff? warm and friendly. atmosphere? calm and inviting. food? to quote my 10 year old: "it tastes like happiness" we had the seafood boil with the sea salt signature sauce, lobster, crab, shrimp, mussels, corn, potatoes, and we added noodles and crawfish. I think my kid thanked me seven times during this meal for bringing her here. we will 100% be back.”

There are many places that serve fish here and in quite picky when it comes to my food. When I walked in everyone greeted me and I was sat down quick. Didn't know what to pick for there was a lot of options so I asked someone. Jessie, the manager took her time explaining what every dish was and which ones would suite me the best and I must say, she did not disappoint. The food was great and the service was better! But stupid me, once the burgers were ready, that is when I asked Michelle and came to know about the presence of egg in mayo and habberano sauce. She was so so kind enough to replace my all orders and that too without a grudge of her face. That is where the actual customer service lies and she was a marvelous, living example of it .I am sure if she would have told me that she can not help me unless I put another order, that too would be with a smile.”

“Love this place. I had been looking for a Mediterranean shop for a long time and finally stumbled upon Tanoor Bakery. Now I'm an almost weekly customer here. The staff are very friendly and welcoming.

They carry Akawi cheese, zaatar and other speciality products which I can't find anywhere else. Their felafel and breads are my personal favorites a must try. All of it made fresh in house and mouth watering. Highly recommend!”

When flea market closed figured everything shut down so looked at different places. Some were so so others just ok, As I was driving I guess over a year ago on Monarch Avenue in Ajax saw a sign posted on the boulevard. When I walked in to my surprise saw Patsy. I was so glad as there are no places that I searched for held a candle to this place. Val and Patsy's don't know how do but have a unique flavor that my taste buds can't get enough. “Good spot for some halal fast food dining and shakes. Got the special with the kathi rolls, fries, and vanilla and mango lyche shakes. Overall good. The kathi rolls weren't great but weren't bad. The shakes were good especially the mango lychee and the fries were good. The restaurant itself is nicely decorated and can dine out inside.”

“I recently tried the mutton pizza from Benedict’s in Ajax, and I have to say—this is one of the best specialty mutton pizzas I’ve ever had. From the first bite, you can tell this is a family-owned business that puts heart into every dish.

The crust was perfectly baked—soft on the inside with a nice crisp on the edges. What truly stood out was the generous amount of tender, flavorful mutton spread across the pizza. The mutton was well-marinated, cooked to perfection, and had a bold, slightly spicy flavor that really made this pizza special. It paired beautifully with the red onions and sliced green chilies, adding a balance of heat and sweetness.

A fresh wedge of lemon in the center added a surprising yet delicious zing when squeezed over the slices—elevating the mutton flavor even more. The creamy dipping sauce on the side was the perfect finishing touch.
